June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.

Omigosh! It's the first announcement of the New Year! Isn't this exciting?!?! Okay, maybe it's more exciting for me than anyone else.
But guueeessss WHAT! Hogwarts- A New Day Has Come will be two years old in MARCH! That's coming up! I remember like yesterday when we were celebrating it's first birthday. Really though, it seems like just yesterday. Where the bloody hell has all this time gone? Should I get sentimental and reflect on last year? Okay...I will.
In January of last year, the board was dead as a doornail. Sad, but true. I'm not sure what it was, but some random bit of inspiration hit us, and ba-boom. We started the board over, sending it back to August, making it ANDHC v.2. And there was life again! Sometimes you have to back track in order to move forward again. Then in March we celebrated it's first birthday! Aww, our baby is growing up so fast! We had our birthday bash celebration, which was a blast. Look for that again this year. We were unable to finish it because of reasons I'll mention later.
Then in May, things were going along splendidly. Until May 30th. Anyone remember what happened that day? Oh bloody hell, I do. I was enjoying vacation in Mexico, and then returned to see everything in SHAMBLES. The ezHack Attack took place. Our board was left in devastation, with every single thread GONE. We went through restoration processes, and were unfortunate to only get back about 1/6 of what we previously had. It took a lot to be able to move on and get the board going again, but we were able to do it. Because by now, we've learned that we can push through bloody ANYTHING! Seriously. I think by the time you've reached the point that this board has, you get to be invincible.
Anyways, summer was fun, fall was fun, now it's winter and it's a New Year! I'm gonna get touchy and sentimental, and claim that I have never met a better group of people in my life. Everyone here is so much fun, so talented, so amazing. Really. You all have made this board wonderful and exciting and diverse and...ahhh I'm gonna go spiraling off because I'm really happy right now. I swear I'm not on drugs.
Anyways...Now that I've gotten all of that out of my system, onto current matters! Tomorrow we change timeblocks again! Onto the second half of January we go. But we do need to tie up threads from this block, so everyone has a week to do that! Keep on posting, everyone has been GREAT recently! Oh, and if you haven't played Sophie's game in The Quibbler, let me just say you're missing out. It's amazing.
Oh yeah, there's a new code in the rules. We changed it though, so now there's only two parts, just in the rules themselves. So people don't have to go on a wild goose hunt trying to find four parts, reading prior applications and such. Now it's just two parts and it's in the rules!
