June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.

Our first update of the month (Wow that took a long time)
Well things have been really slow recently, mostly because of school and old members leaving... BUT! We've decided to move onto the next time slot (Dec 1st-15th), with a new layout! This one was done by Alena and I, and I think it looks rather good. We've just made history my friends! This is the first time, ever, that ANDHC has had an all white background instead of an all black one. The first time ever. Unfortunately, this means that out font couldn't simply be white (seeing as how the background is) which means those of you who have glowy fonts will need to check out the Custom Titles (if you really want to, or if you just want to leave them be for when we change to the next time slot). The glowy text will result with the font being purple, and the glow being whatever house color your character has. This makes for odd coloring, so, you can have an option of changing the font color to white (like mine is) or black (which you can see in Alena's posts in the test thread I made). Or, if you really don't care that much, you can just leave your CT the way it is.
There IS a Hogsmeade Trip, and there has been a post made. In the past our hogsmeade posts haven't really gotten off the ground for version two (they were always such a hit in number one!), so really, don't hesitate to get involved! If you're looking for a fun or exciting post, just respond to the premade threads in Hogsmeade, or start one of your own.
Speaking of fun threads, there WILL be a Snowball Fight posted soon, and an Ice Skating thread posted at the lake as well. If you want to get involved, check the Plot Discussions forum. We need people to volunteer for throwing the first snowball! If we get enough people involved (IE: more than the three or so that there are right now), then we'll get things going! If you have a great idea for a winter thread that can involve everyone, don't hesitate to make a post! If you just want a quiet little thread, but see no post to join, please don't be afraid to START a thread. A lot of people complain about there being no threads to join, but someone has to start them, it can't always be the same three people starting threads for you to join . Keep in mind that if YOU start a thread, you have more opportunity to post. If you don't know where to post, I recommend the newly instigated but rarely used Student Center.
The Dragon Pox will spread like wildfire through the school ASAP. It's not too late to claim a fatal/serious/mild afflition! Just head off to the Plot Discussions thread if you want to start up. Please keep in mind that your character may be incapacitated, so you can't have them be completely knocked out and then pick them up the very next day. Those of you that wanted the Dragon Pox to be fatal, please confirm your request by PMing me privately... So that no mistakes are made when the curtain is pulled away and everyone sees your character is dead.
If you're having trouble finding time to post, I suggest that you try to make a schedule for yourself (though, it didn't exactly help me). It might prove useful and get you on track so that you can start posting again and thus, release all of your pent up creative energy!
