June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.

Okay I'll file for complete insanity now. It's 2:20 AM and I'm still on the board because I don't want to go to bed. So I figured now is a perfect time for a new announcement thing.
First of all, I'd LOVE to welcome our two newest members Danny, who plays Heidi Van Bloem, a sixth year Ravenclaw, and Sophie, who plays Meghan Spire, a first year Ravenclaw. They both presented some wonderful applications and everyone should give them the warmest welcome possible! They will both be excellent additions to the board!
Since the last update, we've changed timeblocks! We are now covering December 16th through the 31st, meaning it's Christmas Break! No classes, and lots of time for fun! Just remember if your character is going home for the holidays, you won't be able to make any Hogwarts posts after the 16th of December, seeing as the train leaves on the 17th.
Speaking of the train, the train ride back to Kings Cross Station is extremely important! It's going to be posted tomorrow and everyone that replied in the Plot Discussion forum needs to show up and actively participate to make this plot advancement take place. If your characters are going home for break but you haven't gotten in to reply yet, it's not too late! There's also a lovely addition to the whole thing that will involve three choice characters. You can sign up to be one of those three if you just head on over to the Plot Discussion forum! On a random note, you guys have no idea how ecstatic I am that that forum is getting as much use as it is. Makes me so excited! Yes, I'm amused by the little things in life.
Anyways, things everyone should look for and participate in:
Chistmas Social: Yep, the Christmas Social has come! It's a come-as-you-are affair so students won't need to hassle themselves spending hours to prepare! Everyone is allowed to attend, seeing as it takes place the day before the train leaves to take students home for break. Please participate! It's definitely already loads of fun!
Dragon Pox: This thread is still up and running, and something super important has just taken place! I would tell you what it was right here, but if you don't know already, then I don't want to ruin the fun for you when you read it! So if you haven't joined in on that thread yet, definitely do. The drama has just begun.
As an ending note, I'll say that I'm extremely pleased with the increase in activity in the last few days! It's really awesome guys, keep up the amazing work!
And with that, I'm off! To...post more. Sadly I'm trying to take advantage of my last night of Thanksgiving break...
I'd like to take this time to point out that we need Quidditch players! We can't expect to try to have a game if we don't have any players! Come on guys, it's nearing pathetic that we don't have enough people. Usually people are ripping at each other's throats to join the teams.
Don't forget, that even if you have one character on the team, you can have another character on a different team (yes, we're that desperate people). AND! If we get enough people onto teams, we might be able to combine teams for a special just-for-fun scrimmage. IE: We'd pair up Hufflepuff and Gryffindor teams against Ravenclaw and Slytherin. That is, if we have enough people to combine teams. As it is, we have about a billion beaters and nothing else.... Come on people! Join up!

I'd also like to point out that almost every Prefect spot is open, so go ahead and join!

WE N EED PREFECTS! I don't know what happened to them, but they all DIED. Okay, so one literally died. But the rest? Where the heck did they go? I know we have about a bajillion students in the 5-7 bracket, so get over there and fill the spots!
