Ok, the dates for the 1st SGUK UK fan meet are 5th + 6th of June 2004. ( Sat + Sun ) and the location will be the las vegas of england...... Blackpool !!
Activities to include, very reduced entry into Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park, a night out on the town in Blackpool, and some other Stargate related activities.
The cost of this fan meet is all up to the individual. If you need prices for the hotel please email us at SGUK for details and any other information. We hope to all stay in the same hotel for a great weekend together, unless you are lucky enough to have relatives in Blackpool !!.
Also please note that the night out in Blackpool will include visits to licenced premises ie bars clubs etc, so only people of legal age may enter.
This fan event is just a meeting of Stargate fans, and in no way a proper organised event with guests etc. Just a meeting of like minded fellow Stargate fans, and a chance to make some new friends in a fun enviroment.

Well, hi all, having just had a blast at sg-7.... i see the blackpool visit as a perfect warm up for SG-8.... so count me in for this great reason to get completely hamm....sorry completely chilled for the next big con... with old and new friends who just lurve stargate....so count me in!

Iron Sniper please be aware that the meet in blackpool is for 18+ Only as there will be drinking and visiting licenced establishments involved

Theres good news and bad news for me, the good is that im 18 in a few wekks so i would be able to go, the bad i dont think i can get the cash so I will see wether or not I can go.

I'm still new to all this forum and costume club stuff,but I think it would be a idea to have a meeting in Blackpool,if as well as meeting new folks and getting costume ideas..I can offer people transport in my troop carrier(ford galaxy) if their interested...so let me know on this page
