June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.

6th/7th Years [Semester 2, Class 1] A Day
Merlin, Ginny had survived her first class! It was incredible, amazing, and all that jazz. Honestly, she felt that now she was invincible! But here was where the hard part came in. The sixth and seventh years. The NEWT students. There was a possibility that amongst these students that were about to enter her class, Ginny was going to meet at least one or two people that knew more about History of Magic than she did. Okay so there was no guarantee on the said matter, but all the same, it was a worry that was constantly embedded in her mind. The first years were relatively easy because, well, they were first years after all! Ginny was timid, meek and shy in her first year at Hogwarts! Oh how time had changed...
She had something a little bit different planned for the older students though, hoping to get them more engaged in the class and ready to learn some history. As opposed to being ready to sleep the hour away. If there was one goal Ginny had for the semester, it was to make it so that History of Magic class wasn't looked upon as the hour to catch up on much needed rest. Sure, that was it's purpose when she was in school, but come on. It was taught by a ghost back then. Ginny was alive, breathing, and ready to get something accomplished. Right? Right. No one in the class would be failing the History of Magic NEWT and that was final.
The bell rang, and shuffling noises were heard from the corridors outside. Ginny stood at the front of the room once again, wearing her witches robes looking prim and proper. She was ready to go, right? Absolutely. She still had some of the first day jitters, but she was hoping that time would wear them down a bit, making it so she didn't feel as if she were going to puke out her entire stomach. How did the rest of the teachers do it every single day? Well, there was the answer right there. They did it every single day. They got used to it. End of discussion.
Students began to file into her classroom, and Ginny fidgeted around a bit, nervously awaiting the final bell. Part of her wanted it to take an hour before it would ring, and the other part was hoping frantically that it would ring right then and there so she could just start the class and get it over with. She was going to survive, all she had to do was breathe. Ha, that was the biggest misconception in the world.
Ring!
And there it was. The bell rang, and Ginny stood at the front of the room, watching her sixth and seventh year students. "Good afternoon class, I'm Professor Weasley," She said, making a short introduction for herself. "Now, without any further ado, stand up, get out of your seats. We're going to do a four corners discussion." Yes, four corner discussions. The most hand on discussions that Ginny had ever had in her life. "Listen carefully, the question for discussion is this. How relevant is history in the development of our future?" As Ginny asked the question, the chalk jumped to life on her chalkboard, and scrawled the question out. "The back corner of the room, my right, is "Very Relevant". Back left corner is "Somewhat Relevant", front right is "A Little Relevant" and finally, the front left is "Not Relevant At All." Ginny finished, hoping the students would buy into the idea as much as she had. "Pick a corner, and be ready to discuss why you chose it!"

Re: 6th/7th Years [Semester 2, Class 1] A Day
Sera groaned as she glanced at her schedule, glaring at it as though the expression would make it change only to find that that didn't happen. She'd known that she'd have History of Magic second semester when she'd started it first semester - and done it in sixth year - but that didn't make her any more prepared for it. She had had a long day, though, so she supposed that if there was any class to sleep through, this was the one. She didn't have any spares on days like these, and had a huge amount of homework to do, and very little time to do it in. Not to mention she had a headache from all the concentrating that silent spellcasting required - though she was getting better at that. Things had been worse at the beginning of sixth year, when it had felt like nothing was going to happen if she cast her spells silently. Now that she could make things work, it wasn't so bad - the knowledge gave her confidence, and confidence was one of the most important parts of spellcasting.
Shaking her head, Sera shoved her rather beat up schedule back into her bag and cursed when she realized that if she didn't hurr, she was going to be late - very late. She ran from the room and skidded to a walk in the hallway as she passed a group of first years heading to their class; the prefect's badge still gleamed brightly on her robes, and it wouldn't do for her to set a bad example. Sure, it was halfway through the year and they'd probably stopped paying attention to prefects by this point, but it wsa the principle behind it.
She slipped into the History of Magic classroom along with some of the last people to enter, and took the first seat she could find, giving the new professor a quick glance. She looked young, in Sera's opinion, and had brilliant red hair. She also looked very prim and proper, though, so maybe she was going to be strict - a new teacher who was worried that if she wasn't strict, her students would get away from her. When Sera had been at muggle school, that seemed to be the attitude that all of the new teachers then. They'd seemed so intimidated by the elementary school students that they hadn't given them a moment of free time. Hopefully this teacher wouldn't be so panicked about a group of sixteen and seventeen year olds.
"Good afternoon class, I'm Professor Weasley,"
Weasley as in the Headmaster? Sera's brow lifted slightly. They looked like siblings, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. Merlin, she hoped that they weren't married. That was just gross.
"Now, without any further ado, stand up, get out of your seats. We're going to do a four corners discussion.Listen carefully, the question for discussion is this. How relevant is history in the development of our future?"
Sera groaned and dropped her head on her desk as Professor Weasley pointed out the corners, wishing that she was somewhere else. It was the first day of classes! Couldn't she take it easy on them? She'd been hoping to get some sleep, but it wasn't like that was going to happen. History of Magic had always been a small class after it was no longer mandatory, so that meant that everyone had to actually participate. Damn. Shaking her head, she stood and went to join the "Very Relevant" corner after eyeing the "Somewhat Relevant" corner in consideration. Well, it really was very relevant. Shrugging, she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes briefly, before the discussion could really start.

Re: 6th/7th Years [Semester 2, Class 1] A Day
Oh boy, the best class in the world! Erm, right. And as if Bryce had ever used the expression "oh boy!" ever in his entire life. Armand thought that he needed to lighten up a bit, and Bryce knew that there were several other people that agreed. But there was no way in hell that he was going to lighten up to the point of saying "Oh boy!" about any class, especially History of Magic. Why was he taking the class again? Oh yeah, because he wanted to go into Magical Enforcement. And why did he want to go into Magical Enforcement? Who knew. It was some crazy thought he had in his sixth year, and had followed it since then, for lack of other direction. Did it really matter that much? Probably not. Bryce knew that with enough persuasion, he could get just about any job he wanted, as long as he was charming and witty. Which he could be, when he needed to of course.
Despite his dismay to the class, however, he entered on time, and took a seat, turning his hazel eyes dully to the front of the room. New Professor. Oh joy. How many had they broken in that year? Too many. New teachers were always such a bother. So new, naive, annoying. Afraid that the students were going to take advantage of them, which with proper space they probably would. But all the same, they were so edgy and strict. Just bloody plain annoying.
"Good afternoon class, I'm Professor Weasley," Fascinating. Next?
"Now, without any further ado, stand up, get out of your seats. We're going to do a four corners discussion. Listen carefully, the question for discussion is this. How relevant is history in the development of our future?" Oh and they were always so bloody determined to get the class involved and engaged. Professor Weasley needed a news flash. No one liked History of Magic. They only reason they took it was because they needed it for their desired profession. At least that was why Bryce was there. He would humor her though, seeing as it was her first day. He stood up, and gave a glance at each corner. How relevant was history? He finally made his decision, and headed over to the "Not Very" corner. It didn't matter that much. And it didn't really matter what corner he picked. He wasn't going to raise his hand for discussion or anything. So what the hell, why not.
