We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

A Day Dream (open)
Alastair was in a tree. He was daydreaming away about all sorts of things. He liked the forest. He grew up near one so he naturally liked it. He was just up there starting to hum a tune his mother used to hum and then his eyes started to water. He now realized that he really didn't have a family at all. He just had 4 friends and thats it. His tears started to fall, one by one fell from his cheeks as he continued to hum the tune.
Ryoko wandered through the forest. She finally got back from seeing her father, and after seeing him the only thing she needed was peace and quiet. She walked and suddenly stopped. Ryoko realised that she didn't know where she was going, and hoped she wasn't lost.
She took a few more steps but a faint sound caught her attention. It was someone humming. Ryoko listened quietly, until she started walking again, trying to find out who or what was making the noise.
Once again, Ryoko stopped. This time, she looked up. There's a guy in that tree. She thought. A small smile came across her lips. " Sounds nice." She said softly.

Alastair was startled at first and almost fell out of the tree but he regained balance and looked down at a girl standing below. He then said," Oh! You like it, do you? Well it was sung to me before my Father...... Before I was sent away to Manga High." Alastair never saw this girl before and so he asked," Are you new at Manga?"

Ryoko laughed slightly as he almost fell out of the tree. " Sorry." She said, smiling.

Ryoko looked up again as he spoke. She then nodded. " Yeah I like it, it sounds really nice." She replied.
" Are you new at Manga?"
" Well..." Ryoko began. She gently floated up to greet the guy. Smiling once again, she spoke. " I guess you could say that." Ryoko extended her hand to the stranger. " Nice to meet you, I'm Ryoko Taylor." She said happily.
She could see that he had been crying because of the slight redness on his face. But Ryoko kept her smile up. She'd only just met this guy, and didn't want to ask what was wrong.

Al shook her hand with a big smile then climbed down the tree. He then said," Hey, do you want to take a walk? I'm stiff as a board!" Alastair stretched his armed out and then stood on his tip-toes and stretched his legs. Then he asked," So what about the walk. You want to come??"

Ryoko watched as he climbed down the tree. She nodded. " Sure thing." She floated back down and stood beside him. For a moment, Ryoko looked around, taking in the scenery. She was too preoccupied with the mysterious voice before that she really didn't pay attention.
Stretching her arms above her head, Ryoko realised something else. " Oh yeah, I don't think I caught your name before." She added.

"Oh, um, my name's Alastair Ackhart, but you can just call me Al. So have you met any other people aside from me at Manga high?" Alastair was wondering if she might have met Datu or Amber. He then remembered that he was supposed to meet Datu in a few hours but just tuned that out for now.

Ryoko thought about it for a second. She hadn't been around for very long. She was bearly in her room for long this morning. She wanted to get out and see everything. Ryoko shook her head. " No, your the first person I've met." She said.
Ryoko stretched once more, holding her hands behind her head " I haven't been around long, just a couple of days." She added.

The pupil was searching the forest and was looking in the trees. Then they looked down at the girl." Well, I think I can show you in a bit because right now I really need to walk around."

Ryoko nodded to what he said. " Sure, I'd like to meet your friends. It's always good to meet new people." She replied. Ryoko looked at Alastair's eyes. They were lovely shades of read, she thought. They were the strangest eyes she'd ever seen before, but, she liked them.
" Well, I think I can show you in a bit because right now I really need to walk around."
Ryoko quickly snapped out of it. She nodded. " Yeah thats ok." She replied. Unknowly, Ryoko started staring at his eyes again. When she did realised, she spoke. " Sorry. It's just... your eyes are so... nice." She explained.

Alastair looked a little strange and uneasy but he still replied," Well, there not that great. It wasn't like I wanted them. I was kind of forced to have them, if you will. You see, not long from now a demon tried to possess me. It failed but gave me these red eyes. I experience, well, Let's just say The demon causes a lot of pain." Alastair then began to walk backwards and said," You comin' or not.

Ryoko listened attentively, taking in everything he said. She regretted saying anything about his eyes after hearing him speak of the experience he had. " Wow, I'm sorry." She said.
It wasn't as if an apology would stop anything, or help her take anything she'd said back, but still, she said it anyway, without knowing why. Ryoko stood there, still thinking about what he said, when her train of thought was broken.
" You comin' or not.
" Oh!" She replied quickly, running up to him and walking beside him. " I just phased out for a second there I guess." Ryoko added.

My God-Damned father traded me for his own life because he is not a true Scottsman." then Al mumbled under his breath," Damn him to hell, too" Alastair then looked at her and said," Since I don't know much about you, I'm not going to say to much.... if that's alright with you."

Ryoko nodded. " Yeah thats ok. I didn't expect you to tell a stranger all about yourself." she said. Ryoko looked forward as she remembered. " My name is Ryoko Taylor and I'm from Little Tokyo LA. When I was eight my mother died because of a subway wreck. I hit thirteen and met Aoshi." Ryoko began, but as the memories of her first love came bavk to her, she found it hard to speak.
Wanting to continue talking, Ryoko cleared her throat and pressed on. " He meant alot to me, but then he was killed in a hit and run. I always believed my father did it because I broke to many of his rules. That or it was because I wanted a normal life, that didn't involve being a theif." She added.
" So, then I got sent here, by my father, to try and get better at what I can do and help him steal more things." Ryoko said, as though it hadn't phased her at all.

" Your a theif!?! I've done my share of lock picking and stealing myself!" Alastair then looked around because he foolishly said that out loud. Then he said in a hushed tone," I'm not the best of guys or anything but I respect you. It might not mean much but our kind has together. If you don't feel comfortable in stealing then forget I ever said that." He then chuckled and looked down at the school roofs.

Ryoko chuckled to herself lightly as he yelled that out. She never believed it to be a big deal, since Ryoko had been a theif for most of her life.
" I'm not the best of guys or anything but I respect you. It might not mean much but our kind has together. If you don't feel comfortable in stealing then forget I ever said that."
She shook her head and responded. " No I'm very comfortable talking about what I do. It's like a second nature to me, y'know? I was pushed into being a thief, and eventually it came natural. I just hate my father, thats why I want to get out of it, I just don't want to work with him." Ryoko replied, with a hint of hatred in her voice as she spoke about her father.

" Well I steal for profit. I made 400 bucks off this guy who pushed me down for no reason! I followed him home and smashed his 'piggy bank'!" Alastair laughed loudly." The guy really kept 400 bucks in a piggy bank!" Alastair fell off the bench laughing at the fact that a 50 year old, buff guy, still owned a piggy bank.

Ryoko laughed as he talked about the piggy bank. The idea of a man having a piggy bank did make her laugh. " I've never come across one of those in my days." She replied, through her laughter.
She sat at the bench and thought to herself. Then, after a short while, she asked him a question. " So what are your powers?" Ryoko asked, something that had been on her mind for a short while.

" Well, I am talented with a sword. It is enchanted you see. Once stabbed or cut by it your muscles weaken. Long enough for me to knock them out, finish them off, or just flee for my life. My second power is..." Alastair then ran ahead to a tree at 30mph. He then ran back and said," Super speed." Alastair's red eyes scaned the forest for suspitious activities. His eyes then rested on Ryoko.

As he ran forward, Ryoko guessed before he spoke that it was super speed. A small smirk crept across her lips as he ran back to her.
" Super speed."
" Hate to be caught in a dark ally against you." Ryoko replied, remembering what he just told her about his first power. She then guessed that it was her turn to share, so she did. " Well as you've already seen," Ryoko began, as her feet left the ground slowly. She flew up into the air at great speed, however she was not nearly at fast as he was. Flying back down and allowing her feet to touch the ground slowly, Ryoko spoke. " I can fly." She added.
" But my favourite power, is my second one." Ryoko said, her voice full of pride. She stepped forward, then turned to look at him. Ryoko was silent, concentrating for a split second, until, " Kage Bushin No Jutsu!" she yelled. Smoke and dust picked up quickly around her feet, swallowing her. When it all cleared Ryoko was in the middle, aside two exact clones of herself, her shadow doppelgangers. " Hi." The three said in unison.

Alastair smiled and then began to laugh," That's pretty cool. I like it. I wouldn't want to be stuck with you in a dark alley."
Alastair then walked up to the clones. He started to poke them. "They seem real. How long did it take you to get this down?"
