A New Beginning

*Along a quiet stretch of the beach, a man stands alone, or so it appears until you realize that he has a small digimon nestled in the crook of his left elbow*

Rasputin: "Well Hattamon, here we are, in Obana, the gathering place of the digidestined. I wonder if it will be as interesting as the stories we've been hearing..."

Hattamon (as Beaniemon): "I sure hope so Boss, maybe you can make a friend out here."

Rasputin: "Bah... that's not likely....but maybe..."
*The two stared off into the sunset*

Loneliness is the worst thing to have to live through. To have been given hope and then to have it stripped away, this is the ultimate punishment. Torture a body as thou will, inflict pain, cause death, you cannot truly kill the human spirit. Yet take a person's hope away, leave them alone, and without even touching them you have killed them more thoroughly than any torturer or executioner could even dream of.

Jamie: Well Sariomon? Did you hear anything?

Sariomon: I think so... the new guy just said his name was Rasputin.

Jamie: Uh huh... ok.

* Jamie stands.*

Jamie: I just don't feel right leaving those three together so.....

Sariomon: So.... what?

* Jamie grins.*

Sariomon: I wish I hadn't asked.

* Jamie walks to the edge of the cliff and jumps gracefully off. Keep in mind the cliff ain't too aufuly high. She lands on her feet perfectly right beside of Tiren.*

Jamie: Hi guys.

* Tiren jumps because about three seconds ago Jamie wasn't there.*

Jamie: Sorry about dropping in on you. Oh and Rasputin. Hi. My name's Jamie Anya. Nice to meet ya.

Sariomon: Ditto!
