A New Rising - A Blade 2 Based RPG

The year, is 1999. It has been one year since Blade, the Daywalker killed Deacon Frost; a service many of the Vampire Nation is grateful to him for. The setting it Prague, the Czech Republic. Jarod Nomak is still in confinement, and the Bloodpack has only been training for a year to hunt down the Daywalker.
But what Blade, and many others do not know, is that a new conflict arouse in the Vampire Nation, just at the time Frost was dispatched of. As vampires had existed since the beginning of time, so had the race of the lycanthropes, or werewolves. Their heritage, is hidden in shadows as well, but some myths claim their origin as descendants of Lycaon, the Greek king who was with his whole people turned into wolves by the god Zeus.
Like the vampires, the lycanthropes also had a craving for human flesh, but not for the exchange of immortality. And unlike the vampires, the werewolves never established their own culture, but just tended to live in small families on the outskirts of humanity, hidden away and harming none.
The vampires had let them be, since they realised it would be unwise to go against creatures that could both overpower them and move around in daylight. And werewolves were wise enough to stay out of their way as well. A war would just endanger both of the species.
But then, a vampire Lord and his following was attacked and killed by a pack of werewolves in Moscov. Taking this as an excuse to do something he had wanted to for a long time, Eli now declared that this possible threat against the vampires were to be dealt with once and for all, and gave two choices for all the lycanthropes in this world: total submission to the Vampire Nation, or death. Some came willingly or struggled little, and others did not. Alongside the Bloodpack, a new squad of vampires were dispatched, simply called the Hunters, with the sole mission of finding, capturing or killing any werewolf they could find in this world. Within a year, hundreds of werewolves in Europe and Asia had lost their lives, or been dragged into the service of the Vampire Nation, branded like the familiars and tamed like dogs.
However, victory was anything but won. The werewolves who were still free, fought back with anything they could, forming bands of hunters to try and eliminate the threat before they could get to them. Being severely outnumbered though, and as scattered and low on funds as the human hunters, it is a struggle they fight with very low odds.
