A childs poem
This is a poem my 13 year old daughter wrote after she got home from school yesterday to help herself deal with this horrible incident. I just thought I would share it.****Margi Scala


America Under Attack


There are so many things going on,
Who would ever think America would be bombed?
We were always there for countries in need,
Whoever planned this tragedy truly did succeed.
As we sit back and wonder who, why, how?
Nothing nor no one can change it now.
As we mourn for the thousands of people who died,
The police and others got as many people evacuated, they really tried.
Some countries sit and watch the news and celebrate the attack,
They need to realize that loved ones are never coming back.
Some say that war is under way,
So is there going to be somewhere safe in this world today?
