We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

A good hot soak
Eric had spent some time at the gym... maybe a bit too much time. A soak in a hotspring was just what he needed. He went through the locker room noticing how quiet the place seemed right now. Maybe he had spent more time than he thought and everyone else was asleep at this hour. He undressed himself and went out to the hot spring. He looked about for a moment and saw no signs of anyone else around. Well, if he was going to soak alone, he figured he didn't need to be wearing a towel. So he pull the towel off, set it at the edge of the water, and sat himself down for a soak.
Some not-so-quiet footsteps could be heard getting louder and closer to the hot springs are Eric got into the water. They were easy to hear, but hard to tell where they were going. But they suddenly stopped and from there, the sound of barefoot footsteps could be heard. From out of the dressing room, an innocent and very naive looking girl had walked out fully dressed aside from her shoes and socks. The girl was looking around the spring as if she had never seen one before, which was sincere consider the girl. The girl had long straight silver hair with the brightest dark purple eyes anyone could ever see. She wore a long purple dress with pink outlining, giving her a more childish appearance. As the girl walked, she stopped at the edge of the water, looking down into the spring and then slowly turning her attention to the boy that was in it. "What is this p-place? And why is it so w-warm?" The girl asked in broken English and in an innocently curious tone.

Eric heard someone walking in and turned to see the young girl's approach. Certainly, only after he had gotten into the water would someone catch him in his indecency. "This place," he began one hand trying to slowly reach back to grab his towel (which apparently wasn't as close to the edge as he thought it had been), "is the hot spring. It's supposed to be warm and wet in here."
Eric didn't even consider that there could be some double meaning in his words at the moment.

The girl looked at the boy and blinked as he explained what the place was, or at least its name. "Hot....Spring?" She repeated it, making sure she got all the sounds right in English. "Its s-suppose to me warm and wet, like a bath?" She asked, her English slowly getting better. Not know what a hot spring was, she automatically related it to a bath, since that was the only thing she knew of that was warm, wet, and you had to be nude in it like the boy was. "Are you bathing?" She asked again, still trying to understand the place she was in. As she asked, she looked down at the water, kneeling a bit and sticking her hand in. Quickly pulling it out, she held it. "It's hotter than a bath." She said suddenly, her English perfect this time. She started to blow her hand a bit to cool it down. She didn't expect it to be so hot, so it caught her off guard.

"I'm more of just soaking in the water than bathing," Eric replied, feeling the edge of the towel in his hand and slowly starting to pull it over, "Some people may bathe when using a hot spring, other may just use it to relax."
This girl seemed strange. Eric had expected her to yell and scream he was a pervert and run off when she noticed he was naked. She seemed completely disinterested in the fact that he was naked... which in truth kind of wounded him. He pulled his towel directly to the edge of the towel to the edge of the water, but held it there for the moment and wondered why this young girl acted so strangely.

The girl looked at him, still confused on the purpose of this so-called hot spring. She looked back at the water and then him. "Are you suppose to just s-soak? Or bathe?" She asked him again, trying to solve the mystery of the place. It wasn't like she was going around trying to figure out what everything was, but she had wandered in here and knowing where she was would help her learn new things. She took another look at the spring, seeing its size. "It is bigger than a tub. Maybe it's like a swimming pool." She said more to herself than to him as she thought. But then...." She started, turning to face him again. "If you aren’t bathing, how come you aren't wearing any clothes?" She asked him, unfazed by the fact that he was nude. In truth, she didn't know it was a bad thing to walk around nude unless it was cold outside.

Soft footsteps could faintly be heard as a young Asian girl emerged from the locker room. Her soft, honey brown hair was pulled into a neat bun and a light lavendar towel was wrapped around her body. Under the towel was a baby blue one piece swimsuit; only the straps remained visible, due to being covered by her towel. Sapphire optics gazed placidly at the ground as she approached the hotspring. She looked over at Nyoko and gave her a friendly smile; it was nice to see someone she knew.
"Hello, Nyoko," she greeted sweetly. The girl, Hitomi Wakahisa, had yet to notice the naked boy in the water; however, it didn't last very long. Hitomi turned toward the hotspring and almost immediatly made eye contact. Her eyes widened slightly and her face blushed a deep shade of red. She had never seen a boy, or anyone for that matter, naked.
"Gomen! Gomen!" she apologized, quickly turning away from him. "I didn't mean to look! I didn't know you were there!" She could almost feel her whole body blushing.

"Sorry," Eric responded to the second girl and pulled the towel down into the water to cover himself, "I didn't know anyone else was going to come in."
This wasn't turning out to be very relaxing. So far two girls had walked in on him. One was odd and the other was obviously shy. He hoped that neither was a gossiper. The last thing he wanted was to hear nasty rumors about him when he hadn't even been at the school for a week.

Hearing a greeting and her name, Nyoko turned around to see Hitomi in a towel. "Hi Hitomi” Nyoko said with a wave, smiling at her and glad to have some one she knew around. It seemed that questions were alot easier to answer when she knew some one already. People that had just met her always seemed to be confused on how to talk to her and she was always left asking more questions. But then, Nyoko got confused as Hitomi saw the boy and started to blush and even apologize. Tilting her head to the side a bit, she glanced at the boy and then back at Hitomi. "Why are you apo-lo-gizing?" Nyoko asked, saying her last word slowly to make sure she got it right. Still confused, she looked at Hitomi's towel and then the boy and then herself. "Am I supposed to have a towel too?" She asked, still trying to figure the place's purpose and what she was suppose to do in it. But it seemed that both Hitomi and the boy were embarrassed about something that Nyoko couldn't understand.

Although Hitomi heard what he said, she couldn't bring herself to turn around and face him. She heard him pull the towel into the water so he was, for the most part, covered; she was still very embarassed. This was her first time seeing a person naked; that fact that it was a boy seemed to only make it worse, for whatever reason. To show that she wasn't ignoring him by not turning around, she nodded her head. Hopefully he'd take the hint that she understood.

Hitomi stopped blushing as much and turned her head to look at Nyoko. She had met Nyoko before, so she knew that she was a little naive about things. She probably didn't have a firm grasp on human anatomy, or maybe she just didn't really care that he was nude.

"Am I supposed to have a towel too?"
That's when it finally dawned on her. Hitomi had wondered why Nyoko was fully dressed, rather than in a swimsuit of some sort. This was Nyoko's first time at the indoor hotsprings, or perhaps even her first time even seeing one before. Hitomi turned completely so that her whole body was now facing her slightly confused friend.
"If you wanted to get in the water, then you would need a towel so you can dry yourself off when you want to leave," she said simply.

Eric made moved a little in the water to wrap the towel around himself, so that if he had to stand up in the prescense of the girls there wouldn't have to be another exchange of apologies. As he did he payed attention to the conversation. Obviously the first girl was very niave.

"Don't worry about it," Eric spoke up, "I'm not really embarressed. Sorry for doing that, I'll make sure to stay covered in here from now on."
Looking at Hitomi curiously, she nodded as she was given the explanation that she wanted. "I see.....well then..." She turned to the boy. "I'm sorry too!" She said trying to sound sincere, though she still didn't completely understand why she was apologizing. But it seemed as though that it was what se was supposed to do in the situation, so she did. Then, hearing the answer for the towel, Nyoko nodded again. "I see that's why you both have towels. But why get in the water, is it a bath?" She asked the question again, this time with Hitomi around.
The boy never actually answered what the hot spring was for in general, only what he used it for and so Nyoko was still unsure about its purpose. And as he boy spoke, Nyoko turned to him. She didn't understand what he was apologizing for, but it was probably the same reason Hitomi was saying she was sorry, so Nyoko decided not to ask. "And one more thing?" Nyoko started, continuing her pestering questions but in the process, not making a single mistake in her English. "Why is he not wearing clothes and you are?" She asked, noticing the straps that were visible on Hitomi.

"It's nothing," she replied as she turned to him and waved her hand as if to shoe the awkward moment away. In truth, her apology was more so a 'force of habit' than actual sincerity towards him. She grew into the habit of apologizing for any little thing she feels she did wrong. It would be almost impossible for her not to after living with HIM for ten years. However, that's another story for another day. She gave him an understanding smile before looking back at Nyoko.
"I see that's why you both have towels. But why get in the water, is it a bath?"
"Well, it's not really a bath. You just sit in the water and relax; you usually don't bathe in it. It might sound a bit strange, but it helps if you're stressed and just need a place to gather your thoughts. Most people find soaking in a hotspring more soothing than sitting in a bath tub," Hitomi explained, hoping her reasoning was easy for Nyoko to understand. She didn't want to leave her with more questions than answers. Just to clear up any other question she may have, Hitomi added a small tidbit of information. "The indoor hotspring is also a good place to meet people and socialize."
"And one more thing?"
*blink* *blink*
"Why is he not wearing clothes and you are?"
"Ano..." Hitomi hesitated a little; she wasn't sure how to answer that. Well, she had an idea of what to say, but she didn't want to speak for the other boy. She decided to just speak for herself and let the boy answer for himself. Which reminded her of something; she never asked his name or introduced herself to him. She'd have to get started on that right away, but she would need to answer Nyoko's question first.
"I'm wearing a swimsuit because I assumed other people might come; I didn't want to be put into an awkward situation by being undressed," she replied simply. For the most part her reply was true, but not the entire truth. However, that too is another story for another day.

Eric gave a few moments to think of a response. "Well, I'm not wearing clothes because I feel it lets the water flow better around my body. A towel does enough to cover up my... personal area." He looked up at Kyoko only a hint of a smirk on his face at the moment, "You don't have to wear a swimsuit, I don't find it awkward at all."

Nyoko looked at Hitomi and nodded slowly. She was starting to understand things more and more. "So I can relax, like when I take a nap, except I'm awake!" She said translating Hitomi's reasoning into her own. She looked at the water again as an innocent and cute smile grew on her face. "I don't know what 'so-ci-a-lize' means, but if it's what people do in here, I'll do it." She said kneeling down and coming closer to the edge of the water. "I think I'll get in too but..." She started and then heard the boy speak. "Well, I don't have that, so I guess I'll just get in." She said standing straight up. And before she could be told otherwise, Nyoko stripped herself of her clothes, reveal her nude and not at all mature body. The only thing left on her was the pink hair band in her hair as she slid into the hot spring; not even realizing what she had done was very embarrassing. "You're right, the water feels nice!"

Ness had folded his clothes gently in one of the empty lockers before draping a towel around his waist, and walking into the hotsprings. It had been such a long day, what with school... meeting new people... meeting new people who knew him already... meeting people who thought he knew them but were surprised that they only knew him... It could get anyone confuzzled.
He sighed as he felt the first blast of humid air brush against his face and body, one lithe and only slightly muscular--the body of a runner, not a fighter. He didn't have the sixpack that so many of the guys here sported, nor the carefully chiseled buttocks that every boy here seemed to have. He was just lean, slightly on the tall side, and built nicely--not too much skin on exercised--but not sculpted--muscles.
"Kombanwa," he murmured to the trio with a shy smile and a nod of his head as he walked sedately towards to pool, walking without mishap--until a bar of soap found its way under his foot and he fell backwards, hitting his head with a sharp crack against the floor. "Itai..." he muttered, leaning up on one arm and rubbing the back of his head with the other one--at least until he became concious that something indecent might be showing. He quickly sat up, his face flushed with embarassment.
He barely knew these people, and they would probably already be calling him a pervert all over the school! What was he to do?? Well... Pretend like it never happened. Once more he got up, and continued walking sedately towards the pool, intentionally avoiding all eye contact until he reached the safety of the pool, into which he slid. He sighed as the hot water began removing some of the stress from his body before looking at the trio. "So, how was your guys' first day in school?" he asked as nonchalantly as possible, considering the state that his emotions were in after the embarassing slip-up.

Hitomi turned towards the new person that entered the hotsprings. He looked extremely familiar, but she couldn't remember where or when she'd met him. He was quite attractive; he's wasn't super muscular or anything like a majority of the other guys at MHS. Hitomi, for whatever reason, always found boys with long pretty hair attractive; the fact that Ness had long pretty hair was definately a plus.
NOW she remembered him! Well, his name, anyways. A couple of weeks (or was it days?) after she first came to MHS, she met him in the Nurse's office, or whatever it was really called. Maybe he still remembered her?
"Hi, Ness," she greeted a bit quietly. That's when he tripped over the soap and.... slightly exposed himself. Hitomi's face, at the point, was about as red as a boiled lobster. Her relaxation time spiraled into a horrible awkward, uncomfortable moment. Between the nude boy and girl in the hotspring and Ness's small accident, it was shocking that she hadn't gotten a nosebleed or something yet. Okay, it's not very shocking at all.
Finally, after just standing around, she removed her towel and eased herself into the hotspring. She felt a little uncomfortable, but she told herself she'd get used to it. Unlike everyone else, she wasn't in the nude. She wore a baby blue swimsuit (Although, if you wanted to get technical, you would call it a bikini) since she had a small phobia of public nudity. She didn't answer Ness's question or even look up at anyone. She simply sat staring into the water, her face still a deep red. Hopefully the awkward feeling would just go away soon.

Eric's eyes widened for a moment. He hadn't expected the girl to just hope in with no covering. His cheeks reddened only slightly. Then he heard a little of the disturbance from the other guy entering. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly thrn closed his eyes and rubbed his temples lightly. 'Why can't I just run into some normal people once in a while,' he thought to himself.

Enjoying the water Nyoko smiled. She hadn’t ever felt such a pleasant feeling before. it was warm, hot even and yet the water felt so good. She felt really calm ad relaxed and liked it. But before she could explore the full feeling of the spring, another person had come to join them. Se blinked and turned toward him, closing her eyes as he tripped on a bar of well placed soap and revealing himself. Of course, nudity didn't faze Nyoko at all. a nude body was the same as a clothed one to her and she just thought clothes were to keep a person warm and comfortable. "Ummm.....hello...." Nyoko said to the guy, not realizing that he might be hurt.
"My first day was umm..." Nyoko started trying to remember how to say what she wanted to say in English. "It was dizzy..." She said remember how she got dizzy and didn't feel to well on the tour Amber had given her. Then, as Hitomi got in, Nyoko wadded her way over to her, smile. "It’s nice isn't it!" She said smiling widely as she relaxed in the warm. "It's so hot, I feel kind of.....dizzy." She started, the heat getting to her much more quickly because she was new to this kind of thing. She held onto the edge of the spring a bit, holding her head. She was feeling dizzy and weird and not all that well.

Ness allowed himself to be submerged under the water, his long white hair flowing around him like a halo of silver before he rose once more, rising like some mythological Poseidon from the depths of the hotsprings. He kept his eyes downcast, keeping the nude girl's underdeveloped frame out of his line of site.
Suddenly he thought of something... one of the girls had called him by name... did she know him from before the accident? "I'm sorry... do you know me by any chance?" he asked the girl, a plaintive expression on his face. He desperately wanted to regain all the friends he had before, so if by any chance the two had been friends, he would like to become so once more.
Before he could continue asking more questions, the other girl innocently answered his question in a ... slightly strange manner. There was no other way to define her respone... how did one have a dizzy day? Perhaps confusing, or even dizzy-ing, but a dizzy day? Suddenly she began to look as dizzy as her day. "Are you alright? Perhaps you should take a break and get out for a little to cool off??" asked Ness. He came closer--if she suddenly fainted, the least he could do was catch her and help her out of the water--nude or not, safety was far more important to him than the embaressment that might come afterwards.
"Y-yes, it is," Hitomi stammered in reply to Nyoko's question. She noticed that Nyoko's body was still pre-pubescent; her body didn't seem developed at all, kind of like a small child. Hitomi felt a little more uncomfortable as Nyoko's naked form made her way closer to her. Sure, they were both girls, but that didn't seem to register in her mind. Well, it registered, but didn't make much of a difference; she still didn't want to be too close to someone naked. However, she did stay close to her in case she were to faint, due to the heat starting to get to her. She quickly turned her attention towards Ness.
"I'm sorry... do you know me by any chance?"
"I think I do. I remember meeting you in the healer's place a little after I first arrived here," she replied. She was a little hurt on the inside; he didn't remember her? Maybe she had him mistaken for someone else. But then again, how many boys in the school had long white hair and blue eyes like Ness? Speaking of Ness and people with long white hair... "I apologize if I'm being nosy, but are you by any chance related to a girl named Nessa?"
