A new pet? (Reina/open?)

The girl's mind was like a maze of furious thought as Reina controlled the dream in her head. "Oooh. This is fun fun!" she exclaimed loudly, though in scale to her size loudly wasn't actually that loud. Then it happened, the girl woke up. It could have been her strength of will, or maybe Reina's powers weren't strong enough to hold two people under for very long.

"Shhh! He's still sleeping!" she squeaked into Dango's ear. Her surprise made Reina giggle and twist in the air. "You have to make me a promise okay? Don't tell anyone you saw me, you're a special lady indeed. Not everyone notices li' ole' me. Hee hee!" she said with a giggle. Without giving Dango a chance to respond, she flew forward and kissed her on the forehead.

The tinly lip mark left by the blue lipstick glittered beautifully for a moment. Then, as quickly as Reina placed the mark on her, it dissolved into her mind. The images that followed curved Dango's partially concious lips into a smile, though knowing her she was careful no one saw.

The scene that was in Dango's mind returned to it's original state. No words were exchanged, but the little girl was once again clutched in her arms. A soft giggling was audible coming from them both, and a single tear appeared in the onyx haired girl's eye. Perhaps it transferred into the real worl as well, no one but Dango herself knows for sure, but rest assured, the releif of the dream's end and the rekindling of her relationship with Lilly left young Dango with an overwhelming feeling of joy.

A tiny voice whispered in Dango's ear "I'm Reina, pleased ta meethca!"

Thankfully, at least for now, Gabriel was still asleep. His own mind took over the scene and morphed it into the graphic representation of one of his defining moments, and Reina giggled with glee as she allowed him to carry out his own dream a while.

With Gabriel charging, the man in the mask dipped and dodged tauntingly. "Come now child, you'll have to do better than that!" he shouted as he ducked under a blow Gabriel threw. It was as if the angel moved in slow motion, the man in the mask moved so quickly and fluidly it was almost like he wasn't real.

After a few moments, Gabriel began to tire, and that spurred the masked man to make for his strike. Raising his fist high, he lunged to throw a kick into the winged child's midsection.

Bracing to receive the impact after trailing the hand into the air, Gabriel clenched his eyes shut. After what seemed like an eternity, he hadn't felt the force of the kick, so he opened his eyes cautiously. What he saw was entirely unbelievable, even to such a steadfast angel.

Against each wall in the alley, an image of his mother stared back at him. With Mona Lisa's eyes, following his every motion like a cat, they just stared back at him. Feeling overwhelmed with a combonation of confusion, joy, anxiety, and a little pain, Gabriel stared at each intently. A lesser person would have darted at each until he found the real one, paying no mind to the walls that awaited should they be illusions.

Carefully watching for the signs, they all had the same breathing pattern, all had the same expression, but the true woman before him was set apart from the halucenations by one tell tale feature. Looking deep into each's eyes, Gabriel saw his true mother and charged at her, embracing her in a large bear hug. On the right of his stance was where she waited, her lovingly mother's eyes told the story.

Reina flew up to Gabriel's sleeping place and danced about in the air a little. "Hee hee! Now, for the grand finale!" she squealed gleefully. Pecking a tiny kiss on his forehead, the lipstick made the same dissolving effect, and it showed his mind a similarly wonderful vision.

Holding each other tightly, as if for the first time, Gabriel and his mother sat in a lush meadow. Tears of joy flowed like rivers from their eyes. In the real world, his eyes squeezed shut tighter, hoping to savor the moment for a few seconds longer before he was awoken.

With that, Reina flew off through an open window, satisfied with her work for the day.
