A rez capable cleric...
So when I got to 39 and got my first exp rez, I never thought that being a rez capable cleric would be so dangerous to my own health. Case in point...
Last night, for some ungodly reason, Saibok is tooling around with Cypher in Neriak... of all places. What 2 iksar are doing in the depths of the Underdark I dont know, but regardless, there they were.
All was well and good until.... (dramatic pause) Saibok's invis dropped and some wandering SK dropped him like a sack of potatoes. One harm touch for 400+ and a couple of swings was all it took. Needless to say I am called on to give a res, which by the way I will gladly do anytime for any of our guild members or EP's. Next time however, do me a favor, and try NOT TO DIE IN NERIAK THIRD GATE! (Yes, that is the farthest zone into Neriak.
Sai was lucky because Hiemer was also on and I would never have made it in to Neriak without that little Halfee's help. So, after picking me up we ported to LS and made our way into the Underdark. The retrieve actually went off without a hitch. Invis held, we got to the body and we resed the scaly Bok. All was well, and I gated out as fast as I could cast.
The moral of the story... not exactly sure. Dont die in Neriak, makes it hard for your rez capable cleric? If you do die in Neriak, do it in Foreign Quarter... not the bowels of hell itself? Iksar and Inkies dont mix? You take what you want from it. I just thought it was funny.
