Adventure's in Guk
The Iksar Monk known as Cyther was bruised and battered and his companion the Iksar Shaman called Saibok had his spiritual energy's depleted. Scales glistened, damp with sweat. The two companions were winded from their running battle with the dark denizens of the hellish dungeon known as Lower Guk. Just as they had squatted down to take a well deserved reprieve to recover their energy's they heard the scuttling of arachnid feet coming towards them.
Cyther leapt to his feet to engage the Deadly Black Widow spider but as the monk had become fully engaged in the battle a raspy call of "Frrooaak" could be heard echoing from the tunnel behind the scene of the battle. Saibok called a warning to Cyther that two undead Frogloks known as Vis Knights had joined in. The normally stoic monk grunted to Saibok to gate to safety. The Shaman looked at his spirit companion Karer in that instant the decision had been made. With a ghostly howl Karer tore into the undead frogloks knocking them off of Cyther as Saibok called on ancient Iksar rituals that converted his very life essence into mana. Using his newly gained spiritual energy's to mend Cyther's battered body energizing him to finish off the fearsome arachnid. With his opponent disposed of Cyther set to destroying the two Ghoulish attackers. Lupine jaws and monkish weapons wielded by skilled iksar hands shredded and pounded rotting Froglok flesh asunder until the dreaded "Frrooakk" could no longer issue forth. The companions stood triumphant among the corpses proud of the fact that they had thwarted Lower Guk and it's hated minions attempts to crush them. However the companions did not bask in their glory long for they knew there was still more foul beasts to slay....
heheh, seriously... good shit man. I always love reading the combat tales...
"Guk... If there is a hell I imagine its a lot like Lower Guk. A place where death is infinite, fools are legion and the howling and gnashing of teeth can be heard for miles." - Saibok
