We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Aftermath
Since the moment Dango had been put in his care he held on to her tight with at least one arm(obviously couldn't do with with two while he was driving). Phantom had gone past what was believed to be it's max speed as Isamu had raced towards MHS. When he finally arrived the keys were almost ripped from the ignition as Isamu Carried dango in both of his arms and raced into the building. A few minutes later Isamu was seen kicking the door open into the healer's place.
"She needs care, NOW!"
Any staff sitting there had been stratled by Isamu's sudden intrusion. As an attendant rushed over to Isamu they offered to take Dango but he simply shook his head.
"She's unconcious and has been shot in the leg, just lead me to her room and take care of her, no questions asked!" Isamu's eyes had a flame within them, he wasn't going anywhere until Dango was back to normal.
As he layed her down into the hospital bed he gave her a kiss on the forehead, the attendant looked at Isamu with concern. "You need some rest kid!"
"I'm not leaving her until she is ready to leave, so don't tell me what I do and don't need to do!" Isamu then took a seat next to her bed, rocking back and forth. He had promised himself he would never let those he cared about be harmed, but now he had failed.

Meanwhile Yoko was with Knives, she didn't know what to say, in a way it was all her fault. If she would have just kept her mouth shut none of this would have happened. Isamu's words repeated in her head over and over. 'Big mouth'
Tonight was a horrible night, she had never seen Isamu so upset. She never even heard him insult her unless it was playfully. What had changed him like that, was it Dango, was it Take's disappearance? it was all unclear. She finally looked at knives, tears were in her eyes but she didn't want to let them fall.
"I-I'm sorry, this is all my fault. If I would have kept my big mouth shut she wouldn't have been so upset and she would have never left the building like that."
Even though it was a minor wound, it affected Yoko and Isamu greatly, nothing like this had ever happened to them together.
"This is what happens when kids play with guns. Luckily the wound doesn't look too bad."
The doctor looked over Dango, a nurse following in close pursuit.
"So what do you suggest, doctor?"
"Prep her for surgery, she's passed out from shock but she should come out of it on her own. All we need to do is take the bullet out, but she will have to stay off the leg for a couple of days."
The nurse looked over at Isamu, figuring that they must be close friends.
"Your friend should only be in surgery for a couple of hours. Till then, just sit tight. She is in good hands. The hospital will send her home in a wheelchair, so I will trust that you or maybe another friend will make sure she doesn't try walking for at least two days alright?"
"Alright nurse, lets wheel her through"
With a nod the doctor and the nurse transferred Dango over to a stretcher and wheeled her into the surgery room. All that was left to do now, was wait.

A black car sped to the campus from the city, hitting speeds not quite as high as Isamu's bike, but still fast and unsafe. Good thing Knives had good reactions, and was able to make it to the healer's part of the school without even a scratch on the car's paint. As it neared the school, Knives drove straight up the curb, ignoring the noises as the front bumper was torn off. Suddenly, he hit the brakes and spun the wheel, sending the car drifting sideways straight at the building. It came to a halt right in front of the door.
Knives turned to look at Yoko in the passenger's seat. "Don't worry, they would have come inside anyways. In fact, they did earlier. Don't blame yourself." He shook his head to her, and then climbed out of his seat. "I'd open the door for ya, but I'm in a hurry, sorry!" He shouted over his shoulder, as he sped into the building and down the halls, running at his top speeds in the direction of the nurse's office.
When he burst into the room, he looked around quickly, ignoring the assistants as they gave him the same looks they gave Isamu. He said nothing, just followed his nose into the room that Dango had been carried to. When he saw her on the bed, he let out a sigh; she was safer now. With a quick nod of gratitude towards Isamu, he walked hastily to Dango's bedside.
He reached out both of his hands, and clutched hers tightly, as he sat down in a chair. He scooted close to the bed, so that he could lean over, his face close to hers. The look in his eyes as he gazed down upon her unconcious face was one of fear - he had not been this scared since he'd almost died in the forest by the hands of a dragon. Gently, he whispered to his best friend, "Please...Dango, please be ok...."
And then the nurse and doctor came to take her away. They spoke to Isamu, but Knives heard it all. He looked up at them, and frowned. "I'm coming with. I'm going to hold her hand the whole time, I don't care what you say. She's my best friend, and I care about her more than anything."
It was a brave move for the dog boy; things such as this surgery were more than enough to make him sick to his stomach. But it was worth it, for Dango's sake. So, he followed them in, never letting go of her hand.

Isamu was still rocking back and forth and an almost crazed thought. He was failing everyone the more he thought about things. He wasn't able to stay in touch with Takehiko, he had allowed Yoko to get attacked before she had come to MHS, He wasn't able to protect Dango, but worst was that he had insulted Yoko.
The only one that was there since the moment he was born. The one that no matter where he was, she was there with him. He had insulted her and made her feel bad, how was he going to explain it?

Yoko entered the building at a slow pace, dragging her feet along as she walked. Sure Knives and Dango might not be upset with her, but Isamu was. She had temporarily blocked the link between the two as she mad her way to the room.
As she saw Dango and knives being run to the emergency room she ran with them, Isamu was obviously in the room they had come from, but Yoko didn't want to face him.
As she caught up with Knives she began asking questions. "Hey, are you alright? I know this is hard for you, just know that me and my brother are here for you and Dango."

"Usually we don't let people into the surgery room, but we don't have much time to argue. Give him a paper mask then, nurse"
The nurse nodded, slipping a paper mask over Knives face before they got into the surgery room.

There was movement as Dango's eyes fluttered open. When she opened them, the first thing she saw was a bright white light -
"Ah, shit. Don't tell me that's the white light at the end of the tunnel - "
It brought a soft chuckle to the nurse and to the doctor - finally the rest of the surgery room came into view. Then her senses came into view and she felt a familiar hand gripping hers.
"Huh? Knives?"
"You have yourself a good friend there Ms.Vice, he hasn't left your side since"
Dango's chestnut hues found themselves gazing towards Knives, a soft smile coming to her lips.
"Alright, lets get her back into the emergency room"
With Knives in tow, the nurse wheeled Dango back into the room that Isamu and Yoko were waiting in.
"Your friend is going to be just fine. The doctor told me to remind you about the wheelchair"
Fear struck Dango's face.
"Wheelchair? Am I paralyzed?"
"Heaven's no, its just important that you keep off of that leg for 2 days so that it has time to fully heal. Your a lucky girl Dango, it was a small bullet and it didn't puncture any vital organs or blood vessels"
"Yippie?"
Already gloom had set over her, her eyes looking towards the 'chair of doom.'
"I'm going to kill that son of a bitch - "
"I will pretend I didn't hear that"
Nervous laughter. The doctor followed suit, helping the nurse with placing Dango into her wheelchair.
"Um, 2 days you said Doctor? How am I going to - well you know, the important stuff that every human being needs to? Like getting into bed, going to the bathroom, having a shower? The school isn't exactly equipped for such things"
"Well, your friends look capable enough to help you out, I'm sure they won't mind for the next couple of days. Even the one that was in the room with you could help you on his own."
"I don't want to be a burden on anyone. Can't I just stay here?"
"Unfortunately, no. We don't really have the space for home care."
"Oh."
She hated asking -
"Knives, Isamu - could one of you? I mean, if not I can call my father. I just - "

Isamu stood up, it was a chance to redeem himself for failing everyone, a chance he was going to take. He looked at yoko and then Dango and an Idea came to mind.
"I can Dango! I'll be able to help with the everyday things such as gettin into and out of bed and such...." Once again he looked over at Yoko. "...and Yoko can help you with the lady things, such as the bathroom and showering."
Not a single perverted thought was going through his mind, otherwise he would have blushed by now. "That is... if it's alright with you?"

Dango blushed deeply, she didn't even take into account that both of her friends were males. That would of been really awkward asking one of them to spongebath her -
"I never thought about that Isamu. I wonder who it would be more awkward for - you, me, or Knives."
Still, she glanced towards Yoko. It was true that the two of them did get off to a rocky start. Perhaps Dango just had to bite the bullet?
"And if that's alright with Yoko, it would be alright with me. But, under one condition - "
Dango closed her eyes and thought about it for a moment, before she opened them and let a soft smile grace her face.
"You let me take Isamu to the fair once I get the use of my legs again. I know I seemed a bit distant at the mall, but you know - hours of shopping for bargains will do that to you. And besides, I don't think I've been quite as friendly I should be to Isamu lately -"
Dango glanced over at Knives, her hand reaching for his.
"And I owe you a thank you Knives, for being such a good friend."

As he gazed upon Dango's face (he'd made every effort not to look at what the doctor was doing down by her leg), and he noticed her eyes opening, his ears perked up and his eyes widened. He was so happy to see her awake, now that it was over, he gave her a big smile and leaned in to add to it a big hug.
Once they were back in the waiting room, with Isamu and Yoko, Knives just stood there for a moment, beside Dango's bed still; he had yet to let go of her hand. He was just smiling down to her, mostly ignoring what the others said. That is, until the doctor spoke of the wheelchair again. Knives glared at Isamu for getting the first word in, especially when Knives had been so caught up in the happiness that Dango was going to be alright, and hadn't realized initially what the doctor had said.
"Wait, wait..." He still looked at Isamu. "Dude, you're my friend and all, but...." He returned his gaze down to Dango. "She's my best friend. I want to take care of her, so that I know everything will be alright." He hesitated a moment, then added, "I know you're trustworthy, Isamu.....just....I don't want to have to worry, ok?" He looked up at Isamu with big eyes, as if pleading.
"And...." This time he looked back towards Dango, squeezing her hand, "Uhhm...as for the bathroom...uhhm...we'll figure something out, alright?"
"You let me take Isamu to the fair once I get the use of my legs again. I know I seemed a bit distant at the mall, but you know - hours of shopping for bargains will do that to you. And besides, I don't think I've been quite as friendly I should be to Isamu lately -"
He looked up at Isamu. "You can still go to the fair with her, I just want to be there to protect her right now, ok?"
"And I owe you a thank you Knives, for being such a good friend." He nodded, and leaned forward to kiss her on the forehead. "Of course, I'll always be here for you, k?"

Yoko finally decided to speak, volunteering her was a sneaky thing Isamu did, it would force them to get along. She knew what Isamu was doing and knew it was best. Yoko couldn't help but giggle though.
"I've been there!(refering to the hours of shopping) Yeah, it's all cool. This way we can get to know and under stand each other better." Yoko was smiling, she knew thought that was Isamu's reason for all of this. "Question though..." Yoko paused, this thought had been on her mind since she was volunteered, she didnt like to interrupt people unless she felt it was right. "...ummmm, who's room are we gonna stay in?"
"Wait, wait...Dude, you're my friend and all, but....She's my best friend. I want to take care of her, so that I know everything will be alright. I know you're trustworthy, Isamu.....just....I don't want to have to worry, ok? And.... Uhhm...as for the bathroom...uhhm...we'll figure something out, alright?"
Yoko and Isamu turned their heads in unison towards knives. They understood that knives and Dango were best friends, but it would be better if the twins took care of her. Isamu looked at Yoko and let her speak for this one.
"I understand you want to be there for her Knives, but don't worry! Nobody will get to her as long as The Dynamic Duo is around!" She laughed nervously at her own corny joke. "Besides, it would be easier, me and Isa spend all our time together so whenever Dango needs to take of.....buisiness... I'll be there to assist. That's really sweet of you though!"
Yoko then turned to Dango and gave the same laugh that they had heard Isamu give numerous times. "I promised this next two days you wont be bored to death, ok?"
(Now to back track for Isamu)

"That would be awwwesome Dango! What do you mean you haven't been friendly. You've been a great friend!" He finished. giving her a thumbs up. The rest of the time he simply stayed quiet, nodding when it was appropriate.

Knives frowned unhappily at them. It didn't matter what they said, he still didn't want to trust Dango in the hands of anyone in her condition. His hand clenched tighter around hers, showing his disapproval; but he was almost completely sure that Dango would go with them, simply because Yoko was a girl. He shook his head slightly, and returned his gaze to Dango.
He didn't say anything for a few moments, he just looked down at Dango, his ears drooping and a frown on his lips. If she chose to go with them, well...there was nothing he could do about it. But it worried the hell out of him that he wouldn't be there to help her, to protect her, like he'd promised to do.
There was nothing left he could do; he'd stated his argument, and his disapproval. All that he could do now was to wait for Dango to respond.

Dango listened to everyone talk, paying close attention to the conversations going on around her. Dango wore a sincere smile on her face, especially after the kiss on the forehead from Knives, and decided herself on what would be best.
"If you all do have the time, and if you don't mind, why don't you all help me out for a few days? I will pay you all back in my own little way when I'm back on my feet again but at least this way there will be no hard feelings"
She was tired, it must of been from the pain killers the doctor had issued her.
"I can stay at Knives, seeing you two probably both have no room and my roommate has that darn cat - *shudder*. And at night I don't mind crashing on somebody's couch."
The nurse then handed a bag full of pills to Knives to take care of.
"Make sure she takes two of these with her meals. Those will help with the swelling and the pain"
Dango nodded her thank you to the nurse, and finally returned her attention back to the three.
"So, what do you guys think? Will that be alright?"
Knives nodded and smiled in response to Dango's answer. It was what he was hoping for; he was just very worried about his friend. Relieved, he squeezed her hand again, and reached out with his free arm, lifting her upper body only slightly so that he could hug her tightly.
And then, he looked up at Isamu. It wasn't that he didn't want Isamu near Dango; in fact, if anyone, he trusted Isamu the most to take care of her....the only problem was that "most" wasn't enough for Knives, who wanted to protect her himself. He sighed, and gave Isamu a big smile. "You're welcome to come during the day, too....I don't have a problem with you helping, I just don't want to leave Dango when she's hurt. I'm sorry, I just really care about her..." He nodded, and smiled down at Dango.
"....And at night I don't mind crashing on somebody's couch." Knives now laughed at the end of her comment, and shook his head. As he gazed down into her eyes, he said, "Nope. No couches for you, you only get to sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the couch if I have to. You're the one who's injured." He continued to look down at her, a happy, content smile on his lips.

Isamu had grown a big smile in his face. Yoko was sort of right, Knives as being too protective of Dango. He was acting as if that freak could come in and shoot her again on campus. It wasn't gonna happen, not while the twins were around.
'Heh, I know. But leave the guy alone, he really cares for her.'
Yoko rolled her eyes at Isamu, she had seen her share of teen movies to know how knives was acting. she walked over next to Isamu and held in her laugh.
'It still doesn't change the fact that he's the obessed best friend in this teen movie life'

"Nope. No couches for you, you only get to sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the couch if I have to. You're the one who's injured."
"I'm sorry knives, but thats where I have to interrupt!" She couldn't trust the obsessed bet friend alone at night with Dango. He could me like Mr. Hentai and do creepy things to her while she slept. Yeah, Yoko may have been over reacting, but being a woman there was another reason behind it.
"I'm pretty sure that Dango would be more comfortable sleeping with fellow women, not men. So at night she stays in my room!" Yoko giggled as the words came out of her mouth. She couldn't help it and had to fix add to that statement. "That first part soooo doesn't sound right!"
(OOC It's cool if you don't reply, but it honestly would be best if Yoko did spend a lot of time with Dango. I'm sure Dango doesn't want knives helping her use the bathroom and bathe. But thats the way your making it appear to be knives.

You could actually...once they fall asleep, you could have Yoko come first thing in the morning, and even wake them up. Then Knives doesn't have to help her bathe and use the bathroom.
Knives blinked and looked up at Yoko. He tilted his head to the side, ears twitching, giving her a curious look. Then, he laughed and shook his head, scratching the back of his head. For a moment, it seemed that he was back to his usual, happy and content self. "Don't worry, I promise not to do anything 'bad' with Dango. I have only good intentions. I'm just worried right now..."
And he probably wouldn't stay like this, being the "obsessed best friend" for too long. It was just while she was hurt, he would be worried about her, especially right after the incident. And it didn't help that Sinatic was unhealthily obsessed with her, in ways that bothered Knives. The dog boy knew that he was acting a bit weird himself....but he just shrugged it off, and looked up at both of the twins. "I know I'm not acting like I usually do, I'm just worried, ok?" He sighed.
As he said that, the doctor rolled in the wheelchair. Knives leaned over Dango's bed and slipped his arms underneath her, lifting her up gently and slowly, avoiding letting anything happen to the leg. He took a few steps towards the doctor, and set Dango gently in the wheelchair. Then, he began pushing her out of the room.
"Let's all go home now, it's a little late." He looked over at Yoko. "Why don't you come over in the morning? Then you can help her with all of the things she needs help with, ok?"

Dango looked at her seriously, wondering why this girl suddenly 'cared' so much about her after only a hour.
"I am actually more comfortable with Knives then I am with you, or even with Isamu. He is my best friend, afterall. I don't mind sleeping with him because I trust him"
Dango knew the way its sounded, but she was too drowsy to correct herself. Her eyes softened as she was picked up by Knives and put in the 'chair of doom' with ease.
"And besides, I wonder if you only want to help me because of Isamu. Which, is fair. But Knives and I have been alone plently of times and I can assure you that he is a proper gentlemen"
"Let's all go home now, it's a little late."
"Yes, that does sound like a good idea"
"Why don't you come over in the morning? Then you can help her with all of the things she needs help with, ok?"
"Who knows Yoko, maybe you should be the one not trusting me. Wouldn't you feel awkward if a disabled person such as myself turned bisexual and started grabbing your breasts in the shower?"
The playful smirk made it unsure if Dango was teasing or not, the only person who knew that was Dango.
