Akai Yagami
Name:Akai Yagami
Age: 15
Grade: 10th grade
Appearence.
Akai is very atlethic and it shows in his build, from the structure of the supple and lithe muscle define his core frame to the arms and legs that are roped in tone, giving him a pretty solid overall build.He stand of average hieght for his age - not tall or short just average by the comparison. His black hair spills foward, consealing most of the features upon his face including the cresent moon scar slashing right through his eye. He keeps his right arm bandaged at all times from fingertip to bicep. for reasons only known to himself. Keeping the manner of dress simple he prefers jeans or cargo pants - Muscle shirts - and over sized T's - tennis shoes [sneakers] or roller blades depending on what he is doing. He is also marked on his neck with a tatoo - the roman numerials X
Personality
Its a tail of two sides of the coin - he is competive, fueled and driven to be the best at whatever he does but he is often silent not a braggard or one to boast his skill. He is often found as though he is contenplating the meaning the life as he sits constantly staring off into the distance - what ever thoughts may be lurking within are his and his and alone. He doesn't have many friends nor does he want them. What gets under his skin are the "One Uppers" people who brag about where they have been and what they have done or how much money their parents make and how they are going to blah, blah, blah. Its the reason he keeps to himself, to avoid confrontation with them is always better than bashing their face in. Often he can be found listening to music, earplug headphones are a near constant for him - lost within the music. Maybe thats why Dr. Sakai's ambition is in a constant struggle with Math.
He isn't a hero or an icon to be looked up, often cold and distant if he is showing emotion, caring or seemingly fiery its usually not a good thing as of late. With each new event that happens in his life, he grows alittle bit more morally detatched and less caring about trivial things in this world but a flip of the coin and he is protective, maybe just a tad over protective of those he find close to him. Compelled sometimes to the do the right thing, and other times whatever is required to for their protection.
Powers
Strength augmentation - For shorts bursts at a time, he can increase his own natural strength. It has its limits though, he may hit a little harder, jump higher - nearly doubling his own natural strength but when ever he uses this augmentation it causes his metabolism to shy-rocket and he must consumes plenty of carbs to keep up his own strength or become a victum to a black out at random times till he gets some carbs in him. While using either one of his powers, his eyes glow golden.
Speed augmentation - it functions just as the strength, he came only sustain the speed increase for a short cause the wear on his body is great, he is constantly pushing himself beyond his limits to move a little faster - till he peaks. Even the rate at which he processes infomation is increased making the speed of his own thoughts a move faster.[helpful when crammin' for an exam] It wears on his metabolism as well, requiring the the carbohydrates to keep him going. He tries not to over expend himself unless a situation really calls for him to go all out.
Perfect Potential [Body] - Dr. Hiroku Sakai ambition is now coming to light even further. With the first seal broken and the limits of Akai's humanself being washed away - Akai is now more than the good Dr. Sakai has ever dreamed of becoming. Strength, speed, stamina, and durability are all being magnified to supernatural proportions. The first augmentations of strength and speed now come as natural as drawing in a breath to Akai. But when he now taps into his heightened abilities - the strain on his body lessened, meaning he can sustain it for a much longer period of time than just short burst. Eyes still glow golden, as the afternoon sun. 10 mins, can be sustained - but every minute after that, the wear on his body starts to grow and metabolism skyrockets. He is still prone to blackouts but they don't last more than five minutes.
Spirit Beast [Spirit] - The second seal has broken and the spirit within the experiment continues to grow and expand, Akai's internal energy is swelled to proportions well beyond that of normal beings. He is now able to focus these fluxations of spiritual energy to now take on a physical form -- Akai's DNA is a recombinant strand, combined with the DNA reminants of a slain red dragon -- of a small gold dragon, this mythical beast and Akai's spirit are one in the same, it was summoned from next world and now lies dormant inside of Akai. He can summon it forth and it will act as companion, they share a mind link so verbal commands aren't really needed [though he stills find himself talking to it sometimes] and this mythical beast is extremely loyal to Akai cause they are almost one in the same. When dormant, the dragon lies in a marking on his arm, Kanji symbols of the Ryu with flames ignited all around, join other markings on his right arm. It appears in ethereal flames that consume his arm and then materialises in the real world. In essence, this beast and Akai are one in the same, representing the penale of perfection on the human scale and mythical scale - Dragons were revered for the their wisdom, cunning, and ferocious might - they were the absolute top of the food chain. When Ryu feels pain, Akai feels that same pain - if Ryu dies, Akai shall die along with him. The length of time Ryu can be summoned is only 20 mins per day -- there is a taxing a strain placed on Akai's body from having the beast seperated from him, this is why without warning when the time is up, it goes back inside of his body to lie dormant and gather its strength again.
Dragon's traits
Name: Ryu
Abilities: Flight - It has wings which allows it fly at the rate of speed Akai can move.
Claws - the most basic of defenses for the animal kingdom, tooth and claw attacks from the beasts razor sharp talons, its strength is that of Akai's.
Size: The dragon stands nearly 3ft at the shoulder and has a wing spand of twice that size. Its scales are golden and eyes are the same color as Akai.
Spirit Beast [Lvl.2]
The beast is now more defined, the nature more clear as it continues to grow at quickening pace. Born of Amaterasu's plight when upon seeing the actions of her brother, Susano'o, she fled to the cave, Ama-no-Iwato in embarrassment, obscuring the light she emanated and plunging the world into darkness. Upon seeing the use of Susano'o's power, Amaterasu took precautions and readied a bow and quiver at her side. Despite the fact that this may be seen as a somewhat rash decision, prior to meeting Amaterasu, Susano'o was persistent in meeting his late mother in the underworld. However, it is detailed that Susano'o was in fear of becoming lost, as he had learnt of the disturbing nature of the underworld, and so it is possible that Amaterasu feared Susano'o had visited the underworld, she went to confront her brother head on, with her bow and quiver of arrows. When she found him they fought, the warped and twisted darkness fed off of the light that she was shedding, twisting into a coporeal and sentient being, a black luster dragon formed in midst of the battle, black turned to gold, but at it core still remained the darkness, the darkness that now rushes to surface. Scales as ebon as the midnight sky, shine with the light of the sun underneathe, an eerie golden glow eminates from under the scales and within the maw of this monster.

Flames of the Underworld - The Dragon's intense innercore has developed more, giving this beast the black flames of Hell as a weapon.
Limit of summoning - 30 mins per day max.
For each time the Amaterasu uses its flames, Akai feels the effect, like a physic link backlash.
1 time - headache.
2 times - Intense headache, bad attitude formed.
3 times - A cry, scream, and howl from pain, violent tendcy increased.
4 times - A complete give in to the violent nature.
The pain, will disperse one level per hour of NON-power useage. This includes the use of all his powers. Once Akai has given into the pain -- this is called the Riot of the Mind - He doesn't friend from foe and automaticly taps into his augmention - wheather or not the time has been exceeded and goes on a 2 min rampage until passes out.
History
Most all kids are born in hospitals, under the glow of soft florecent lights and into the comforting hands of the doctors who soon hand them off them parents before the they would come know to the warmth of the incubator - Akai was born somewhere different. There was a no love that bloomed between two star crossed lovers, not in the slightest. He was born of amibition - the goals and acheivments of science in a lab. It was study - an award winning experiment that he was apart of that brought life to him. Nine came before him and five came after.

25 years ago the ambitions of one man was coming to light, he wanted to make the perfect human. To give humans things far beyond their limits and turn them into something more by removing the limits that god placed upon them. His name was Dr. Hiroku Sakai. A genius with far to much intellect for his own good, for he broke the cardinal rule and did what was not suppossed to be done and that was attempt to play god. He called it project - Evo [short for evolution] He wanted humans all humans to go beyond what they can normally do - to make them, stronger - faster - smarter - Perfect. There would be no more weak - he wanted to shatter Darwins theory of Evolution and take mankind to the next level. But he needed funding to start his project, lab space, materials, and dedicated employees to help him with his goal. He tried time after to seek funding, failure after till he got help from an unknown investor was interested to see if the man could deliver on his promises. It was a slow process at first, the building had to built and he had to order all the top notch equipment on the market but soon after he buried himself within his work.
Years go by.
20 years ago - 5 years have passed and he has yet to crack any solid ground. He splicing DNA and trying to change it to his needs cause he believed with all his heart that DNA was a key to the locked door he was trying to open. He was determined to break that seal - spending countless hours into the lad, he had all but moved into their he was spending so much time in their. The first test died, it couldn't hold up to the changes being made it to its make up - but he wouldn't let that stop him. He try and try again. Everytime thinking he was coming to cracking the code one experiment even lived for a year and half before it passed. He could see he was getting closer to making the process more stable and he brought the additional help in 3 years after he started.
15 years ago - And two years into the relationship with Dr. Ayase Yagami. She was the only one who showed the dedication that he desired and made sure he ate to keep up his strength. They were closer now than ever before and with nine failed experiments its now or never. He had to get it right cause this time cause if not, his funding would be cut off and all this would have been nothing. He tried everything he could, radical new advances had been developed over the past 10 years and he was going to make sure that he took advantage of them to the fullest extent of his genious untill he was born. Through blood - sweat - tears the tenth one was created. Augmented he was - months before normal kids were walking, he was. Months before they were speaking he was. He was ahead of the curve and at the age of two he had the intellect of a six year. It was success with Dr. Yagami at his side, his dream was walking, talking, and breathing at a rate far exceeding his own expectations. On the kids neck the number 10 was tatooed in roman numerials to commencerate his fallen brothers and sister before him. But all was not going well between Dr. Yagami and Dr. Sakai - he couldn't let go of his ambition, keeping the kid under lock and key - on table and under the knife - pricking needle after needle. It was a horrific, the things that were being done to them - test were never ending and all Dr. Yagami could do was stand by and watch.
10 years ago - He is now 5 years old, and for his age he displays shorts outburst of power, his strength increase to limit beyond that of a 5 year old, being able to shove grown men aside, at this tender age it shows itself when he exubes extreme emotion. Anger - rage, its what fuels him it seems. Something to be diagnosed in the future. subject can also increase the rate of speed at which he runs, we must clock unlock this at the right moment to time and see how fast he can really go. Subject also seems to posses an extremely high metabolism when he uses one these augmentations - he needed to fuel his body near immediately or suffer black outs till his heart rate has calmed, he has never blacked out for more 5 mins. Continued study of the subject will come over the years.
2 year ago - X was now 13 years old - He was the first successful experiment, but he wasn't the last one. There were more, Dr. Sakai's ambition had grown great, his ego swelled with each success after he created X. But the wait was to great, the pressures of his benefactor for results to be accelerated forced him to develope a growth chamber - side project he committed lesser employees tp work on over the years. And with Dr. Sakai's guideance ever so often it was completed. X was the first to be tested, the first to be accelerated and brought into adult hood. But all was not that easy -- something went wrong, something just wasn't compatible with his altered recombinant DNA x would not grow - his age wouldn't accelerate. At first they thought the machine was a defect - but after they tested number XIII they found how wrong they were - years for him passed within weeks. X's little brother now became his older brother.
1 year ago - The progress was tracked and logged for all the experiments - x on up to XV. Seven more after X were created, but lacked the potential he showed all of them accelerated growth, but showing only one perfect trait. XIII, he was like X's older/little brother - the bond they shared was deep - somthing stronger than merely sharing some of the same DNA couldn't quite do. Hours were spent in the combat simulator honing the skills of Snipe, Rose, Havok, Kovah, and Gale - each them showing the potential to prefect but radical new altercations showed individualy between the group. Havok and Kovah demonstrated blinding speed, well beyond the projected patterns of the charts. Rose physical strength and toughness became a thing of legend for the scientist to talk about and gauge - she only seemed to get stronger as the time went on. Gale was gifted with the flight, at first he restricted to jumps of great distances - even father that Rose with her augmented strenght then he flight came natural to him. Snipe has the ability to see up 3 miles away easy - 4 with a squint - And even further with a scope. Which is why he is outfitted with the worlds most powerful sniper rifle. A rail gun, that fires bullets at excessive speeds by using magnets. On top of being the worlds most deadliest sniper, he is also trained in hand to hand close quaters combat - he has yet to find an equal match. Snipe is the Elite 5's natural leader.
X was not permitted to go on any missions, only allowed to spend time in the training simulator - field training was just to dangerous for a kid his age even with his enhanced abilities and also, this was a way Dr. Sakai could keep first hand tabs on X - who's body refused the growth acceleration. Over the past few months, a strange symbol started to appear on X's right arm - growing, from finger tips to the middle of his bicep and unexplained marking (which shimmered in gold) seemed to restrict X's abilities. 3 distinct patterns of Kanji, Body - Spirit - Mind all intertwine into one tapestry. Test after test after test is being run on X - needles poke him for a fresh blood sample every day, when he awakens, its by needle, when he sleeps, its drug induced. Dr. sakai wonders what went wrong, was it something from the failed growth chamber experiment, or was someone going behind his back? Indeed someone was...

It was late one night - X was sleeping in his chamber, the sound in the lab was the constant beep of monitors. Then he felt a hand jaring him awake, vision still blurry but he can sorta make the form, it was female. "Shhhh, don't speak - just come with me" The voice was familiar and as he focused his vision he seen that it was Dr.Yagami who come to wake him, she was the first person he had seen with the past month that didn't stick him with a needle or hook him up to some type of machine to check on his perfomance. He slipped from the bed, bare feet touching to the cold tiled floor and he followed her cause he really didn't know what else to do, she was the closet thing he had to a mom.
She had hacked the secuirty systems and played the camera on a infinte loop of the night with the clock still running in real time. Handing a backpack she told him to slip into the clothes inside and one other thing - just trust in her. It was nothing overly dramatic with her clearence it was easy enough to open all the right doors and get to her car. She was leaving this place behind and so was he. In the car she explained why and hasn't terribly hard for him understand, after she was the one who cared about him as a person not some experiment. "We are leaving because I can no longer bear to watch what they do to you - thinking that you're some lab rat with no feelings or emotions - he said it wouldn't be this way when we first started, that the number of test would decrease but they weren't, he is blinded by ambition. By now you were supposed to be living a normal life, with regular interaction with kids your own age and I intend to give you the life that you deserve. Not some dream vision of man gone deranged."
X listened to her talk for hours on end as the car proceded - she explained about why she sealed off most of his potential (for his own good of coarse). It was his first time out of the lab and he could see the wonders of the world with his own eyes and not through the looking box known as t.v or just have a vivid imagination from reading a book. This was life - a new experience for him, but one that he can adapt to quickly, cause he really didn't have much of a choice. Dr. Yagami had a place all picked out for - even forged him an identity taken from his eyes as whenever he uses his powers they glow red a vibrant crimson, he would be Akai Yagami - her son. She told she would take him a place where he came develop his talents and make some friends in the process, cause no one is supposed to live alone - not even perfect beings. She handed him a book and asked him to get familiar with it - the handbook to Manga High School cause that going to be his new destination.

What X doesn't know, was his true purpose, what Dr. Sakai does know, is that X's mind, his thoughts, feelings and emotions were all programed by him, and his design of X was utterly perfect. Dr. Yagami knows this to, and the fear of the day when X (Akai) is found, will be one riddled with tradegey and pain and suffering, but its a chance she had to take.

The sun spilled into room, its pattern layed out in lines of sun - shadow - sun - shadow from the blinds that hang half open. Sess wasn't an early bird and the tranquil nature of outside annoyed him when ever it entered into his room so uninvited. He pulled the pillow over his head, trying to eek out a few more mintutes of sleep, he had reaquired the darkness now all he needed was the persistent silence - but he wasn't that lucky. His cursed alarm clock started to buzz about a minute later, which wasn't even enough time for him to resume his dream. The pillow was lifted his head and flung across the room haphazzardly - he arises! Slowly he leaned up in bed, with terrible case of bed hair and grunt slipped from his lips as he started to stumble his way into the bath room. Twenty minutes laters, he emerged. A smile on his face, clothes on his back and he was ready to step outside to begin the day.
