Aleksi Tchaiokvskaya
Name: Aleksi Tchaikovskaya (Aleksi means "helper of man" and Tchaikovskaya is just a modern twist on the Russian composer Tchaikovsky.)

Age: 15

Grade: 10th (sophomore)

Appearance:Aleksi is 5'10 and 152 lbs. He has a tall, slim, but slightly muscular body type. He has large, innocent looking bright green eyes, which do not reflect his personality. His hair is shoulder-length, sleek and black and is usually held up in a high ponytail. He has the elegant neck, sharp jaw and raised cheekbones of his Slavic heritage and his skin is a golden-tan. His favorite thing to wear is a pair of baggy black jeans, a tight white t-shirt, some black boots and a long, leather coat. He has his lip pierced to the side (I believe it's known as an angel kiss), and he also has his ears pierced. He has a tattoo of a sun around his bellybutton, which he got during the summer and a tattoo of an egyptian eye on the back of his neck. He tends to lean toward the gothic nature, wearing eyeliner and black nail polish, but he is really more of a rave-boy type.

Personality: Aleksi is a very deep and intuitive person. He can put out two personalities, depending on what mood he is in. If he is in his "Alex" mood (only his friends may call him that), then he his kind, caring, sweet and loyal. He seems quite happy and is constantly joking, smiling and laughing. He is the kind of person you really want to be around. The sort of person that makes you feel safe. He is a party monster, constantly frequenting raves and dances. You can often see him on the dance floor in some club, far outshining those around him. His dancing is superb. On the other hand, when his "Aleksi" side comes out (most people know him as that), he is cold, silent and seemingly uncaring. He takes on a sort of apathetic aura and acts distant. He is dry, sarcastic and downright rude, if provoked. This comes from an incident he had as a child. He doesn't usually allow people to get close to him. If you want to be his friend, you're most likely going to have to work for it. He can be quite violent is sufficiently provoked, although it takes a lot to get him there. To everyone except his friends, he known as "the scary guy". By the way, Aleksi is gay.


Special Power: Aleksi only has one power and he carries a weapon.
1. Aleksi's only power is called Instinct. When he chooses to use it, adrenaline rushes into his body, his senses sharpen slightly, his muscles relax, his head clears and he completely slips into a state of survival. He becomes sort of a survival "machine". He uses this during a fight or a battle to completely focus on his enemy. The BIG downside to this power is that it drains him after ten minutes or so, making him tired and hungry and after his Instinct has faded away, he is left tired, hungry, and weak. His senses go back to normal, his muscles tighten up, giving him a general whole body ache and he is sluggish. The only way to regain his energy is if he eats some food and rests for another hour or so.
2. He carries a large, ornate steel knife in his boot. He very rarely ever uses it. When he does unsheathe it, he WILL use it and when he decides to use it, the wound it inflicts will not be a little flesh wound. When Aleksi feels he need to use it, he feels that his life is in danger. That is the only time he'll take it out.

History: Was born in Kiev, Russia on June 22, 1990 in his parent's home. Was christened Aleski Mikael Tchaikovskaya in the Russian Orthodox Church on August 11th, 1990. He was raised in his parent's home, going to elementary school and being a normal child, until he was 7 years old. That was when his powers started to show themselves. During class one day, his classmates were in an uproar because the teacher had punished them all for one student's transgression. Aleksi was so angry, his Instinct kicked in he threw his teacher out of the window, putting her in the hosptial for a month.. In his first grade year, he was taken to live with his grandparents in the cold forests of Russia, learning various martial arts forms such as Aikido and Judo from private teachers, learning how to control his small, but potent powers, all the while, attending a middle school for gifted and special children, studying things such as psychology, philosophy and high mathematics. When the time for high school came around, he was sent to America, along with a "guardian" (a trusted friend of the family to watch over funds and Aleksi) and enrolled in the Manga High School. He has been living in the dorms and attending classes ever since.

EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST:
Aleksi smiled as he basked in the sun on the lawn of his "guardian", Morishka. The rays of the big, golden ball of the sky fell upon his skin like a soft feather, making his skin glow and his eyes squint under his sunglasses. Aleksi, who was currently only wearing a pair of shorts, just lay under the sun, smiling and daydreaming about a beach and an ocean when suddenly he felt a strange feeling. Someone was watching him. He could feel the energy of another person looking at him. Who could it be? He sat up and shook himself from his daze. He looked around and caught the eyes of his guardian, grinning widely.
"Morishka!" he said loudly, "What's funny?"
The woman, Morisha Iilyanovich, chuckled slightly, lifting her arms into the sky in mock prayer
"Oh god," she implored with a thick Slavic accent, "save me from this golden boy before me who tempts me with his handsome face! Help me to keep my thoughts pure and my mind strong!"
Aleksi laughed heartily and stood up, picking up the towel on which he had been laying upon, holding it in his hands.
"Okay what was funny?" he asked, a slight accent of his own showing itself.
Morishka just shook her head and grinned. The woman was tall, with long blonde hair and shining blue eyes. She had to be at least fifty, but she looked as if she were still in her early thirties.
"Nothing my dear," she said smiling widely, "you just remind me of your father. He loved to just lay about idly and do nothing!"
Aleksi frowned slightly and grinned again.
"Like father, like son!" he said, winking

So Instinct is pretty much just Berserker mode? You can RP but don't use your powers.


...an hour is a long time. That is too powerful.


EDIT: 20 Minutes is still quite a long time, you can kick a lot of butt during that time.... if the time Instict is active could be a few minutes less, that would be awesome. ^_^
