We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

A blonde-haired, blue-eyed teenager with several faint freckles dotting her cheeks. Alex's skin tone is naturally pale, but she currently sports a light tan thanks to the abundant time she spends outdoors. Her figure is trim and lithe, but nothing special; her chest, waist, and hips are in proportion to her height. A few scars litter the young teen's back, and a distinguishing birthmark is present on her left... erm... 'cheek.' Her neatly-manicured nails, shimmering hair, and smooth skin often give others the impression that she's 'high-maintenance', but such is not the case; she spends little time fretting on her personal appearance, although she does enjoy staying healthy.
Her right forearm possesses deep, garish wounds tinted a shade of plum that never seem to heal completely. It looks as if a worm coated in purple sludge had been wrapped around her arm and then removed, only to have it's sludge and 'tunnels' remain. For this reason, Alex is rarely seen without some sort of covering over her arm.

Personality: Soft-spoken, optimistic, sanguine, and thoughtful. Alexandra cares little of what others think of her, and tends to do what she perceives as 'right', even if it goes directly against the authority figures in her life. She tends to hide any 'bad' emotions she might be having, except around close friends. Although she speaks less than the average teenager, she has strong views on all sorts of issues; so strong, in fact, that it's difficult to sway this stubborn girl from her way of thinking.

Special Power:
~Cursed Wound: After encountering an unidentifiable creature in the woods and being struck and clutched at by one of it's appendages, an awful-looking wound formed upon Alex's right arm. This wound begins to throb whenever anyone within a short radius of Alexandra begins to feel intense fear, hatred, or anger; the wound begins to exert some degree of control over it's host's body when there are at least three negative bodies nearby. This wound is both a blessing and a curse: it amplifies Alex's strength and stamina significantly, although this alteration depends greatly on the amount of suffering and hate occuring nearby; the more negative energy swirling around this female, the more powerful she becomes. In addition, this wound has given her a sort of sixth sense; she is able to discern what objects and creatures are not earthly or natural; demons, angels, and unnatural creatures (monsters) are easy for her to recognize through laying a hand upon them. As time progresses, this arm will develop some other abilities.
~Sealing Mark: This tattoo upon Alex's right palm prevents her cursed wound from taking complete control of her body; in addition, it greatly slows the infection caused by her wound. An unfortunate social side effect is that very few people in Japan have tattoos; those that do are usually associated with Yakuza. Thus, people around Alex have one more excuse to avoid growing close to her. This tattoo resembles a half-closed eye (or a setting sun, depending on what angle you look at it).
History: Alexandra was born into a middle-class Irish family in the capital of... Japan? Her father was incredibly unhappy when, after 'trying' for ten years with his wife, he was cursed with a daughter. He had desperately desired a son, and such a desire would apparently never be fulfilled.
Throughout her childhood, Alex was held in high regard by her mother, but was ignored by her father. He saw her as a sort of 'trophy child' --- he only displayed any affection to her in public when she was accepting an award, or setting some sort of record. Desperate to gain her father's trust, Alex strove to excel in everything she attempted; she make stellar grades, was a highly successful swimmer, became an expert with the bow and arrow and sung beautifully in a multitude of styles.
Despite her efforts, she never developed a significant relationship with her father; he remained distant from his daughter, even going so far as to construct a mini apartment for his daughter in the basement so he wouldn't have to see his 'mistake' as often. As time went on, her mother began to adapt the feelings of Alex's father; by the time she was ten, her mother was doing less and less with her, and she was completely ostracized by the time she was fourteen. Of course, her parents made sure she had all the proper necessities a teenage girl needed, but they lavished no love upon the blonde woman.
Unfortunately, the fact that she was foreign didn't help her at all in school. Many kids were intrigued by her strange appearance, but very few attempted to befriend this particular woman.
Due to this lack of friends, Alexandra spent much time exploring the nearby woods alone; it was this adventurous habit that ultimately resulted in one of the most important events in Alex's life.
While in the middle of a large, uninhabited stretch of forest, a strange creature wandered into the blonde's path. Curious, Alex approached the monstrous, rather threatening-looking creature when she should've just run away... the creature lashed out with a tentacle-like appendage, searing a wound into the blonde's right arm and then retreating back into the forest.
At first, the Irish schoolgirl attempted to hide this mark; not only had it horribly marred her forearm just beneath her wrist, it had granted her strange, inhuman abilities and unnatural, unbecoming desires. Eventually, though, she approached an expert on the occult, requesting their skills to identify what sort of creature would leave such a scar. The expert could never remember having seen a wound such as this, or even hearing about it; all the occultist could tell her was that the wound was cursed, and that a sealing mark should be placed upon it.
Needless to say, the frightened Alex took the occultist's advice; a crimson rune was tattooed upon her right palm. The instant that the ink became completely dry, the pain in her arm ceased and the wound diminished slightly... but those urges remained, and her superhuman abilities continues to surface in certain situations.
When Alex was discovered to have superhuman abilities at the age of fifteen by her parents, they didn't care... at all. Within a month of discovering her abilities, Alexandra became so frustrated and distraught by the lack of attention and love showed her by anyone in her life that she requested to be moved halfway around the world to a school specialized for intelligent metahumans; her parents accepted without hesitation, fairly relieved to be rid of their would-be son.
Right now, her goals are to make some new friends and do something extraordinary enough to get her parent's attention; she desires nothing more than love.

A gentle 'whump' disturbs the tranquility of the room as Alex flops down upon her mattress, her gaze locked upon the ceiling. In silence, the blonde reflects on her day, pink-tinted lips slowly tugging up into a pleased smile. Her parents will allow her to go to Manga High after all... despite some early concerns from her mother, her parents had agreed to send her to this specialized prep school for superhumans.
Perhaps she'd be treated more horribly and ostracized because of her foreign origin. Perhaps she'd finally be able to prove her worth to her parents. Perhaps she'd finally find love in her otherwise lonely life.
1)This is supposed to be a mature site, so no worries on the Hentai stuff in that site. Most of that stuff is cover pages for Hentai anyways. Yeah, don't ask. I just chalk up my knowledge of that to a very bad school project. Again, don't ask!
2)Everything looks cool except for your powers. I wouldn't say change them yet, but they resemble elemental pwoers very closely. It's against the rules to have elemental pwoers unless they're very creative, but wait until Merciah or Tai checks it out. I think they should be allowed just because you used Immolation. Tee hee!
3)I think that extra stuff is awesome. Can we add some of that to the profile sheet, Merciah!?

Heh, I'm glad you liked my profile so much. n_n
The powers can be changed, if necessary; they aren't an integral part of her background. They aren't technically elemental powers, since neither forms fire/ice/water out of thin air; her abilities mainly deal with raising and lowering temperatures. Even so, I'd be happy to edit as needed, but I'd really appreciate a quick response. I've been waiting a while to play, and I'm really eager to get started!
