Allah's Command, "Behave Justly"
Allah's command, "Behave Justly"
Allah ta`ala ordered us to behave justly, even with enemies. "..And do not let hatred cause you to act unjustly, behave justly, that is nearer to piety." (Surat al-Maida:8) Unfortunately, even if we admit this lesson in theory, we quickly forget it in practice. We find ourselves neglecting a person, being unconcerned about him, paying no attention to him, and so often looking at his few bad qualities, while at the same time forgetting his many good qualities or vice-versa. No, but the matter is even worse! In fact more often we forget his many good qualities and capitalize on his few bad qualifies. We forget the shari`ah rule, "If the water is two jugs worth, it does not hold impurity!" [From a hadeeth narrated by Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunan, and it was authenticated by al-Tahawi, and Ibn Khuzaima and Ibn Hibaan and al-Dhababi, Nawawi and Ibn Hajr. See Irwa at- Ghaleel] The United States has its faults but I haven't heard to many Muslims speaking of their good qualities. I have heard Muslims speak of the goodness of the Taliban but have not heard many Muslims speak of their arrogance, oppression, murder and rape of Muslims in their own country. It is time for all Muslims to remember Allah's command and deal justly and honorably. Your thoughts?

"Behave Justly" Insha'Allah (God willing)
Asalam Alakum, You indeed, post good questions, and concerns, SubhanAllah. I will share my Thoughts, and Hopefully we all will seek help through Patience & Prayer. I would suppose it is safe to say that Noone is Perfect, and everyone falls into error, at some point or another in ones life. Therefore, one should show Mercy to Recieve Mercy, and Forgive to seek Forgiveness. Keeping in mind, if someone wrongs you, Pardon, overlook, and Forgiving is better for you. And to the Greatest Creator Allah(God) the Most High and Wise goes back all Affairs. And the Lord of the Universe is All-Knowing, and well Acquainted with All of Existance. And Nothing happens in the Entire Heavens and Earth, Except that the Most Merciful Allah(God) willed, decreed it into being, as nothing happens without the All-Powerful Allah(God) Permission. Therefore, whatever happens to someone, rather it is we are being Tested and tryed with Good or Hardship, Every moment is a Test, to my limited knowledge and Understanding. Therefore after the Facts, how will one Respond and React? Patience is a Virtue. However, to my understanding, there are three types of hearts, a dead(evil) heart, that is hellbound... and evil is all that it strives for, and hurting people. Than there is a diseased heart, than there is a pure heart. a clean heart. We ask for Discernmaent to be able to know the difference, so that we know which type of heart we are dealing with... Altough we do not Judge anyone... we try and be aware and use common sense. Me personally, try and participate in discussions, and call people to Islam... However, to my understanding, some people, are BLinded, and they are deaf, dumb, and blind, so if one calls them nite and day, they will not hear. So in terms of dealing with those people... it is useless, and it is sometimes 'draining' to ones soul. Therefore one seeks to learn from the people with a clean & pure heart, and than try and assist the people who have the diseased hearts, and invite to the Light of Islam. I feel that the only thing that matters in life, is calling the people to Islam, to please Allah(God) the Exzalted in Might, the Most High & Wise. And those who Rely, and Trust, should put there Complete Trust in Allah(God) the Creator, Sustainer, and Maintainer of All Existance. To whom we shall all Return. I think that people fall to Realize sometimes that this Worldly Life is not Perfect, and that although everyone does indeed know that there is only one Creator, one Lord, one Allah(God) to whom alone all sincere, praise, prayer and Worship is due, it is the people whom only wrong themselfs. Therefore, life is a test, we are tested with good and hardship, there are Belivers, and denyers of Truth. If the Most Greatest Creator wanted the People to be all Muslims, he would have done so by simply saying "Be". However, this Temporary Worldly Life is All a Test, one must struggle and strive to think, say, and do ones very best. Remembering, all of mankind share the one enemy, the Rejected one satan, so if one wants to "hate" they should only "hate" the rejected one satan. Everything else is a test... I feel so. Also, one should always keep in mind, if the Greatest Creator Allah(God) the Most Merciful intends for someone Good, noone can take away ones Good, and if it is decreed for someone to be put in hardship, hardship it will be, as noone can Intercede, or change the divine decree. I think All will Agree. And Everyone should Fear only Allah(God) Almighty, and we should Fear our Greatest Lord of the Universe with Great Fear. Just as one should not look at what the people have, one should look at what the Creator has. Asalam Alakum, Insha'Allah, I will try and come back and finish this essay. Iman Islam
