Always read the whole flyer (Open)
Flashing strobe lights, colored gasses, a spinning ball of sparkling light. In the permeable darkness of the club, these were the few means by which to see the other patrons. Thoroughly opticlaly stimulating, the club also offered a variety of stimuli for the other senses. The sound of pounding techno, the smell of cigarrette smoke, the feel of the people rushing by.
The sweet taste of orange juice rounded out the spectrum, and that was by far Darrien's favorite. As the last drop slid down his throat, he fished out the flyer he found pinned to a tree trunk outside the school auditorium. "Dance your little heart out." it said in big letters across the top. What he didn't read was the fine print at the bottom detailing the three drink minimum, five if under twentyone. He also didn't seem to notice until now that it wasn't so much a flyer, more of a napkin crudely written with a marker. At the crowded bar, he pondered dancing on the seemingly less crowded floor.
Viva la Coolie!
