Ambassador Terri
Terri Irwin, the widow of the late Crocodile Hunter, has been appointed a new tourism ambassador for Australia.
Tourism Minister Fran Bailey has made the announcement, as part of the G'Day USA celebrations in Los Angeles.
There was speculation last week, that Terri's daughter Bindi would also become a tourism ambassador, alongside model Lara Bingle.
Terri and Bindi have been doing the rounds of US talk shows in the place of the late Steve Irwin.
The Tourism Minister says as an American Terri can talk to fellow Americans about her love for Australia.
