Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Inside the auditorium, time slowed to a halt for two particular souls sharing a private moment. Outside time had moved on and when they emerged, the campus would be bathed by the by the golden light of dusk and caressed by brisk winds. The destination: the third floor and third room of the dorms. From the half-open window of said room, a blonde, winged doll resting on the window sill watched the arrival of her owner, the nephilim resting in the arms of the dunpeal.
The cold and movements kept Amber from completely falling asleep, kept her suspended in that poignant moment between falling into the dreamworld and opening her eyes. She didn't mind, it was the state she felt most comfortable...at least before she would fall into the crimson dream world.
"Window..." the girl purred, though it was hard to tell if she had spoken to Vash or spoken in her state of sleep.
Edited by: sugoi sake at: 1/20/07 11:33 pm
Vash hadn't realised how late it acctually was until he was outside. Dusk was setting in already and he hadn't done much of anything that day. He sighed just a little, wondering how he was going to catch up on the day of training he just missed. Then again, trainign wasn't everything. As he looked down at the girl in his arms he smiled and realised maybe there was a little more to life than his vendetta.
Once they reached the room, he quickly closed the door behind him and laid the girl down on her bed. It would be a long night if he expected to stay. She had asked, afterall, and he didn't want to worry her. He looked around the room, a little surprised to see the other side void of any style or flare. He could have sworn Sakura lived with Amber. Had she moved out? He hadn't seen the witch since getting here. Then again, that wasn't exactly a bad thing...
"Window..."
Vash smiled at the half asleep girl and walked over to the window. Whether she was dreaming already or still awake he couldn't tell, but a request was a request and he wasn't one to deny the girl of any comfort he could provide. Moving up to the window, he gently pushed the doll to the inside of the window sill and closed the window behind it. After that, he found himself a chair on the opposite end of the room and sat down, tilting his hat downward and closing his eyes. He was going to need to rest his eyes for at least a couple hours if he planned on keeping up his usual habits the next day.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
The two weren't alone in the room. Vash had carefully placed Amber in her bed and would cross the room to rest on the couch. As he passed by the dresser, the mirror would reveal something out of the ordinary; his mirror image passing by a hazy but human shape. Even if the dunpeal had looked directly at the mirror or where the hazy being had stood, there would be nothing in the room other than the streams of light along the emptier wall.
Had the dunpeal hesitated to tilt his hat downward or if Amber had opened her eyes for any reason instead of falling into the waiting dreamworld, maybe they would realize something in the room was not right. Forming in the mirror was an eyeball, its iris a sickly green and darting across the room as if casually searching for something: a grigori. Luckily for the sleeping nephilim, the bed was not visible from the mirror's location. The eye darted to the opposite end, barely able to make note of the dunpeal's presence.
A gentle whisper: "Light and darkness reside here...how quaint..."
The eye closes, the mirror becomes solid and there is a silence in the room, except for Amber's gentle breaths.
Then, the dresser mirror wavers and ripples like a puddle of water. From the center of the mirror, a pale hand arm clad in dark leather began to emerge. Several moments it would take for the figure to fully emerge, dripping with a silvery liquid droplets that would harden into tiny pools of glass once they landed on the ground. The androgynous being with long, fair blue hair pinned up with ivory pins. Eyes of gold surveyed the room, first settling on the sleeping nephilim.
Ah, my sweet and unsuspecting niece...
Something was not right however, the grigori had whispered to the Virtue Rasiel, and this was why the being had to investigate. The fair being looked to the corner where the dark figure rested on the couch with an eyebrow raised; what was that thing doing in his neice's room? He took a step, makes a smooth horizontal gesture with his hand and formed a three-inch thick wall of iridescent glass between the dunpeal and himself. Rasiel observed him with a look of utter disgust.
"Ugh, one of those abominations? Here?" His golden eyes narrowed. "He better not have bit her."
He turned away, comepletely sure that the dunpeal was in a state of sleep and walked towards the sleeping nephilim. No doubt the girl was in that state of deep sleep, maybe even having pleasent dreams. Rasiel brushed his hand through the girl's hair, allowing the smooth strands to slip through his fingers. How he desired to yank those locks; the tints of Ianael's copper hair and that witch's more golden locks muddled together! Unholy, unclean!
"You had a bit of a flare up in your true nature my dear neice. I wonder what caused such a breif mood swing...Ah well. It doesn't matter."
And not a bite mark on her neck as far as he had seen. He pulled a hankercheif from his jacket pocket and cleaned his already-gloved hands. However that's not why he was here. Feeling his hands were clean enough, he slipped the hankercheif back in his pocket and leaned over Amber's ear.
Rasiel began to whisper in the nephilim's ear, almost a soft lullaby in Latin. The sleeping girl whimpered as the lullaby began the gradual shift from pleasent dream to nightmare...

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Vash had settled in for a long wait from when Amber had fallen asleep to when she would wake up. He had evolved past sleep, only needing to rest his eyes from time to time. Even someone who doesn't sleep needs to conserve their energy and rest their body from fatigue once and awhile. Tipping his hat downwards, he tried to get some of that required rest before day once again came.
However, he was once again denied his rest. Something was happening, though Vash dared not look as of yet. It gave him a chill he didn't particularly enjoy. His sense of duty taking over, he chanced a glance by opening one of his eyes. The scene he beheld was monsterous and breath taking. Something had come through the mirror like it was a gateway to another world! First there was just a hand, ghostly pale and almost tell-tale of being from somewhere unearthly. The leathery arm that followed was almost just as peculiar. After a few moments, it was clear what exactly was crawling through the liquid glass: an angel!
The dunpeal almost immediately attacked, feeling a sense of danger he had not had in a long time. His msucles tensed up, but he tried to remain calm. If he could outwit this abberation, maybe he could kill it. It would at least rid Amber of one of the angels hunting her down. Slowly, he gathered the shadows from the floor into his body. If he was expecting a fight, he would needthe extra energy. The shadows snaked up into his sleeve, barely noticable even by those with superior vision. Knowing it would be a few minutes, he decided to close his eye and simply bide his time.
That was when he heard it approach. He could almsot feel the eyes of the creature strip him bare and scan his very soul for some spark of life. It felt confident that he was no threat and moved back to Amber. That would be a mistake he would soon regret. It didn't please him to know that that thing was looking at Amber, tocuhing Amber, but he had to wait just a few more seconds before...
"Who is calling who an abbomination?"
In one swift movement, Vash got to his feet and outstretched his hand. The only thing he saw was that angel bent over Amber's ear, whispering something and a horrific reaction on Amber's part. It was enough for the hunter to know that bastard had to go! The energy dispursed in a large beam, the barrier only holding it for a second before shattering into a thousand pieces. It continued to fire straight at the angel, the energy pulsing with the anger Vash felt and the power he had absorbed, behind it. He wasn't sure how strong this thing was, but he knew if his attack hit, he would definately be in some sort of hellish pain.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Halfway through the hellish little lullaby, Rasiel enjoyed the sight of the girl tensing up, hearing the girl's whimper as the nightmare began to take hold of her sleep. Halfway through the lullaby, his golden eyes shifted to the opposite side of the room where the unnerving abomination was resting behind the glass. Why? He was not sure but it may have been the best move he made since he appeared through the mirror.
The abomination had been resting. (One second.) Had been behind the glass. (Two.) Smirk.
(Three.) An energy beam shattered the thick wall of (far from ordinary) glass and shot towards Rasiel. A precious second between two and three and the angel encased his body in a cocoon of iridescent glass. A moment too late and the angel would've been in a world of hurt! The glass cocoon was shattered into little peices, strewn all over the floor.
Amazingly, none of the noise had woken Amber from her sleep, but without the lullaby whispering in her ear she began to calm down again.
Now...where was the fair-haired virtue?
"I speak of you of course. Not to mention the one that sleeps..." whispered the angel's voice, sounding as it came from all directions. "And you're such a violent one! How incredibly rude! I expect no less from a thing like you."
Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Vash was a little frustrated when he saw that his attack had been completely negated. The angel had formed some sort of glass-like barrier in a mere moment, similar to the one he had blown through. A small growl of frustration escaped his lips as he looked like he was going to rip the abberation's head clean off. The only upside was that Amber had now calmed back down in her sleep.
"I speak of you of course. Not to mention the one that sleeps..."
Was it true? He had suspected that the creature across the room was somesort of angel, but one that was specifically after Amber? Another growl at the mention of Amber being some sort of abomination. It twisted him on the inside, the dark side whispering into his mind. The demonic voices were always teasing him with pleasurable, grim thoughts. It wanted him to kill, to destroy, and for once, Vash wanted to let it out!
"And you're such a violent one! How incredibly rude! I expect no less from a thing like you."
"It may explain why you are losing ground in the war against Hell. That, or you celestials are simply ment to be destroyed. The stronger survive, after all, and you are pathetic!"
The creatures of Heaven rarely showed emotion. It was something that was forbidden. Deep inside, however, there lay a spark. A spark of pride, of belief that they are superior. Vash was trying to play on that small spark. Maybe he could throw the angel off if he could upset him about his pride. After his little taunt, the hunter charged straight at the angel. His claws were bared and gleaming in the evening sunlight. His right fang twinkled with his smirk bringing it to bare. The distraction was eye catching and hopefully fooled the angel. The shadows that fueled his powers were slowly creeping up from the floor and up his leg. His trench coat blocked any view of the activity, whihc was perfect. Now he just needed to prolong the encoutner until he got his moment to strike.

A charge from the abomination, glowing claws bared; angels were not omnipotent but they are quite aware of their surroudings. Maybe not of shadows, but of movement, the changes in the air...either way, the angel's body would fade as if he had been nothing more than a passing dream: transeo.
But his voice commanded: "Vindico!"
All shards of all sizes from both the shattered cocoon and the earlier glass wall levitated and shot off in every direction, a gale of errant, jagged projectiles. One had managed to cut across Amber's cheek and the winged girl winced. The minute pain pulled her from the lure of deep sleep. She could wake at any moment, saved from a nightmare. Until then...
In Heaven, there was a reason why Rasiel was the Wizard of Glass, the Angel of Reflections. Well known for his illusions, showing those who are astray to follow the path to God. To those humans who deserved it of course. Besides, this visit was far from his missions of good will. The dresser mirror is where the Virtue had materialized to, sitting atop the dresser and watching him with amusement. A gloved hand touched his lips, stifling a laugh. Foolish child, foolish wayward creature!
"Is that what you believe? Delusions, delusions. The strong will survive, those that follow the righteous path set by my Lord, the one true Good in this universe. All the love he created for it and all fall into sin." He shook his head as if to rid himself of the painful truth and then settled the frosted gold eyes on him again.
"How tragic for you...Fallen. Denied from birth. Just like my terribly adorable neice...but at least in the end, she will come to have a use."
Rasiel touched the wall and a layer of iridescent glass began to line the walls. Glass climbed up the wall and upon reaching the ceiling formed into unstable, hanging stalacites. The wrong movement could disturb the beaituful but deadly glass icicles hanging above. Rasiel smiled at him, lacking warmth, and lacking mercy.
"Isn't it odd? I could never expected to meet one who stands in darkness. Oh, above you my dear, those are quite sharp, painful especially when peirced through the skull. I suggest you use caution. Now come." He hopped off the dresser and beckoned with his hand.
"Fight me like you mean it."

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Vash couldn't believe his eyes when the angel ahd disappeared, fading from view. He had been decieved by a higher power and cursed himself for ever falling for it. It seemed this angel was the master of illusion, mirrors and projections being his main source of attack and defense. From what he could gather, the most likely candidate was Rasiel. The hunter would need to keep that in mind when he made his next attack.
Suddenly, the angel's voice gave a command word that rang through the entire room. Vash wasn't sure what was going to happen, but he was certain it wasn't good. He drew his sword quickly, taking his Divine Cross stance to guard himself from any incoming attack the angel made. The shards of glass then quickly floated intot he air and shot at him. The sharpnel was difficult to block, but he managed to swipe his sword infront of him with expect timing to shatter most of the incoming debris. Some, however, struck deep into the dunpeal, forcing him to wince before his accelerated regeneration began to work it's magic.
"Is that what you believe? Delusions, delusions. The strong will survive, those that follow the righteous path set by my Lord, the one true Good in this universe. All the love he created for it and all fall into sin."
Was that what he truly believed? They were no better than the hellspawn that surfaced from the netherworld he loathed. If the agents of God were so prejudice of their chosen to ascend, then it was really just another nightmare he feared he would be forced to endure for eternity. Neither option seemed as though he would find peace. His eyes quickly flashed that demonic red as the angel continued his speech.
"How tragic for you...Fallen. Denied from birth. Just like my terribly adorable neice...but at least in the end, she will come to have a use."
He was her uncle!? What kind of sick and twisted family tore apart their own kind for fun!? Vash's mind was spinning with this revelation, unsure if those from Heaven were the true deamons or not. Both commited such sinful acts it was mind-boggling! This wasn't the word of God. It just couldn't be!
The walls were then quickly covered in that same glass-like surface. It was reflective like a mirror, forming pointed stalacites on the ceiling of the room. One false move and Amber would be done for. He had to be cautious now, play this angel for the fool he really was. Underestimating his power was going to be one mistake Rasiel would never forget.
"So says the one who defies the beliefs of God," Vash began, lowering his guard. "I would have thought the angels of Heaven more compassionate than you have appeared to be. You are fouler than most deamons I have seen. You rival some of the most cold-hearted creatures ever to be born from the hellfires of the underworld itself. Is not deeds that carry you into Hevaen, rather than race, origin or lineage, or has the sweet milk of the celestials curdled and soured?"
Time. He needed more time if he was going to make some sort of counter attack. He wasn't sure if Rasiel knew he was trying to stall or not, but he hoped that his own little banter would distract the angel long enough to gather more energy. He would have one shot at his attack and he didn't want to mess it up.
"After your condesending speech, your delusions of grandeur and fairness, you wish to fight me? Pitiful. You harm others and expect to be justly rewarded for committing something that would be a sin by any other? How hypocritical. You are nothing but what we mortal races are, simply glorified for no reason. There are those on this Earth that are more faithful, more dedicated, more kind, gentle and compassionate followers than yourselves, yet you are given powers that are not deserved by any right. What a hypocracy you fools run..."

“Myself? A heartless demon for carrying the tasks handed down to me by my Lord? What harsh words!” The Virtue said, feigning being struck in the heart by those words. He hopped off the dresser and played with a lock of long blue and fair blue hair. “It really is so amusing...To hear those words from the likes of you seems to be a paradox all on its own.”
Rasiel listened as much as the Virtue would or cared to. His expression of slight amusement didn’t change. Though the vampiric boy seemed to have taken his suggestion to be cautious with the glass icicles on the ceiling, he spoke as if he could know, could ever know about how things beyond this worked. Humans had similar predispositions, similar beliefs on the way things worked above and below. But, Rasiel was not here to reveal those kind of things to a lowly demonic creature and what he had arrived here to do was obstructed by said creature.
"After your condescending speech, your delusions of grandeur and fairness, you wish to fight me? Pitiful. “Is it really a hypocrisy or are you disillusioned by your own preconceived notions of how things happen? You’d be surprised...just as others tend to be at their death. As for my kind, Our Creator bequeathed these powers onto us and we serve only by His Plan, His Word. I humbly accepted to abide by His Plan for my niece-”
Some of the glass icicles over both Amber sleeping body and Vash shuddered as if waiting for their commander’s order to impale them, some clinking together like wine glasses at a dinner party. The angel suddenly would tilt his head, pressing his hand to his ear as if he had a call on a cell phone. A look of annoyance would cross his face and then he would toss his hair back and continued speaking:
“Ah, but that is no concern of yours, demon child. I can be benevolent even towards your undeserving kind and I would even simply allow you to leave...” He held out his hand, pressing his middle and thumb together and a smirk crossing his face. “However, you insulted my family, my compassion, my Sanctuary.”
SNAP.
Rasiel wasn’t one to take criticism well. A handful of the icicles sporadically dropped from the ceiling, one the size of embedding into Amber’s bed right next to her head. The sound of the jagged stalacite ripping through the mattress, the brief bounce from it’s landing drew her from sleep.
Amber opened her eyes, finding herself staring at through an iridescent cone of glass. Her voice caught in her throat, she slowly lifted her head. Above her were several glass icicles hanging over her bed, shuddering and clinking together. The winged girl didn’t seem surprised by it, the icicles resembled what had been forming in her dreams, a cave of glass.

He hopped off the dresser and played with a lock of long blue and fair blue hair. “It really is so amusing...To hear those words from the likes of you seems to be a paradox all on its own.”
What terrible tasks they were. Slaughtering anyone who didn't fit the perfect image most aspried to be seemed to be more of a horrific cultist action. How could the agents of the perfect sanctuary be so oppressive? Was God so merciless to his creatures? His "divine" plan seemed to go against everything mortals knew of Him. Vash clenched his fist, shaking it uncontrollably from the force he was squeezing with. Just a couple more minutes... he thought.
Disillusioned? Could it be true? Was His divine plan really so undeviating? Did He simply not care what happened to His creations? It disturbed Vash tot he core to hear those words. He had always fought for such idealsto redeam himself. How could his beliefs been so wrong? He had no time to reflect on this any longer, however, as the icicle-like glass shards began to ring with vibrations. He quickly looked to the cieling, a worried expression stuck on his face. Were they going to fall? The dunpeal gripped the hilt of his sword tightly as he continued to watch the glass barely hang onto the cieling.
Benevolent; that was difficult to believe. Rasiel had proven he had no compassion towards even a kin of his own kind. How could something like himself kill so many good people simply because they don't fit his perfect image? How could God let that happen? It went against everything he had been told, had learned throughout his life. Then again, that's how disillusions worked.
SNAP!
The icicles finally came down and Vash had no time to react. He was frozen with fear. Amber was asleep and there was nothing she could do to dodge the sharpened spikes. He had to move, but he simply couldn't. A horrible fear that had been dorment for many years arose in him to stop any movement. Luckily, the impaling spike of glass landed next to Amber, leaving her untouched. A low eminated from beneath the hat of the dunpeal. He had stalled once, he wasn't about to make the same mistake twice. He could feel the energy pulsating through his body, but he needed to gain a good position to hit the angel. Now that Amber was awake, it would be much easier. His eyes glowed as he turned to look back at Rasiel with the darkness of his mroe feral side.
"You bastard!" he yelled, charging at the angel.
He lifted his sword quickly to ready himself for an attack. He wanted to finish this damn celestial off quickly to aovid damages to the girl's room. It was time her plaguing uncle waslaid to rest by the sword of Judgement. He landed right infront of Rasiel, making a few quick slashes. The first was horizontal, with the next one going upwards diagonally and the third coming down compeltely hoizontally. The hunter only used his right hand, however, keeping his left hand free to implement his plan whenever the nephilim was completely aware of her surrounds and able to dodge the attack he was preparing.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
The shimmer of copper blonde hair and the perking of white wings through the imbedded glass icicle was the indicator; the sleeping beauty had awakened! If Rasiel had the time to, he would be a little more vocal about his displeasure; he had not finished what he had started. It would not be a total disappointment as somehow the dunpeal seemed to suddenly reconsidered on fighting him. What fun
“Not just yet.” He mumbled to himself, a brief and mischievous expression crossing the dangerously beautiful face.
The demon child charged at him with his shadow-drenched claymore and Rasiel readied himself by forming sheets of glass just as he lashed his sword out at him. All in the wizard’s movement; the horizontal cut was met with a sheet of glass and a step back for the angel. (Shatter-so perfect.)
The second was another jump backwards and a sharp lean in the opposite direction to the diagonal cut. The second back jump led Rasiel pressed against the wall; had he not used transeo at the last moment, Vash would have succeeded in imbedding the sword into the pestering angel. Rasiel dissipated and materialized sitting on the couch, immediately rising from the seat.
“Oh, very close dear. I actually felt the blade’s own wind as it passed my form. I’m sure that would’ve been quite painful. Have at me one more time!” Rasiel’s expression changed again, increasingly annoyed and then replied in an ancient Latin:
Rasiel, the cunning glass wizard: With Judgment contacting and shattering the first sheet of glass, the already unstable glass icicles began to fall again and crashing into the ground. One loud sound sound after another created a domino effect in the random drops of icicles; this already complicated Amber’s situation. Now awake and fully aware that this could not be a dream-
                                Vash! And Rasiel? Fighting?
Vash certainly was a brave one to face the sadistic Virtue; the most Amber had (barely) been able to defeat was that of the Power rank. Amber had only precious seconds to leap of the bed and onto the floor before more random icicles dropped from the ceiling, embedding into the mattress. Had she still been in her dreamless sleep, she would’ve surely been killed! Shards of shattered glass were everywhere, crunching beneath her shoes. Not to mention the glacial icing along the wall and pointing downward from the ceiling. Another icicle dropped, smashing just inches behind her. Amber spun around and retrieved her sword from beneath the windowsill in one swift motion.
<Ras...return immediately! You do not...know...dealing with. Return!>
A commanding, disembodied female voice speaking in an ancient Latin, but without a point of origin. The drop of another icicle demanded her attention and she made a swift sidestep and a slash in order to smash it into pieces before it even hit the ground.
<Rasie....return now or I will appear there...abor...>
Amber’s eyes widened at the mention of another appearance of an angel. She was not sure how exactly she knew what it was saying, clear and plain as English yet she knew it was not spoken on this plane of existance. Holy words that tingled on her tongue, on her lips. Rasiel was already a pest on his own, but the speaker was of indeterminate rank and strength...not helpful at the moment! Seeping into the battlefield of her room was a dense air, one that would fill the lungs with a cool, soothing sensation if one had inhaled menthol.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
The third slash that Rasiel had phased out of would have normally been a terrible thing. Fortnately, Vash had anticipated on the angel doing something to that extent. In fact, his whole attack hinged on it! A split second after his third slash, Vash turned towards the open room. The eldritch energies gathered in his hand were pulsating with power, ready to explode at any moment. The hunter knew Rasiel was in for a rude awakening.
The energy was quickly blasted in the shape of a cone. It was as black as anything, the pure absence of light itself. Purple swirls of the eldritch snaked their way through the rays. The light of the room slowly dimmed as the attack went, the raw power Vash had gathered soaking up the illumination like a black hole. The hunter had tried to contain this enourmous amount of power only a few times in his life, each resulting in some horribly devistating attack. It didn't matter what sort of creature you were, it always seemed to cut through them like a hot knife through butter. This blast would be the end of the angel...
The dunpeals focused attention had blocked out the shattering of glass around him. He had no idea how much trouble Amber was in with the commotion he was creating. All he knew was that the nephilim was awake and that faith she requested was being tested. He had little time to keep his concentration going between the two when he was facing such a powerful enemy.
“Vash! Someone’s coming!”
The dunpeal didn't feel the cold air; couldn't, in fact. His lineage dulled his sense of touch which was a blessing and a curse at some points. This would be one of those times. Pain was dulled in a fight, but so was his ability to guage his surroundings by one more sense. However, amber warned him and that was enough. Her voice sounded worried, anxious for him to realise more trouble was on the way. He cursed under his breath, taking one great leap (which looked more like a hop when Vash did it) to stand beside Amber. The dunpeal then quickly took his Divine Cross stance to help block any surprise attacks by either their new arrival or the questionably alive Rasiel.
"Excellent," he remarked sarcastically, "just what we need; more enemies."

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)What happens when light falls into darkness? When a light if dropped into a dark pit or well?
Hard to tell what had happened to the sadistic angel, all the light sucked from the room, concentrated into that attack. Amber had watched, hoping that Rasiel had been ripped into bits by Vash’s attack. The spark of her dark nature hoped, prayed for his demise . . . but something strange happened to the cone of darkness.
Created by the shadows and then it had dissipated, vanquished by an unseen force that certainly didn’t seem to belong to Rasiel. There had been no glass, no sounds of shattering. In fact, the proud angelic being had his arms extended out in an attempt to counteract the dunpeal’s attack. Right at his elbow were charred stubs, probably swallowed by the eldritch laden mass of darkness. In fact, part of his face and torso was cracked, revealing a glow beneath the shell of human skin. His golden eyes were wide, his form shaken not from the stubs that were his arms and hands, but from the very idea that he would’ve been swallowed up by the darkness itself
“How...how could this be?” the angel muttered, “I am a holy one, I am of light! It couldn’t have-”
Amber looked to the disturbed person known to be her uncle then to Vash. It was momentary surprise at the sheer amount of power he had unleashed onto the angelic being. Looking to her uncle, staring at the charred stubs of his arms with genuine surprise, the dark spark inside Amber flickered. It had started from the moment the shadows had gathered and crawled toward Vash. She had wanted to see the angel die, horribly, painfully.
Kill him while he's delirious...had you been in the same situation, you would be dead.
Forgetting about the presence of the second force (the menthol air) in the room, Amber took one, two steps towards the Virtue, sword drawn. If that had not killed him, then she would have to; multiple stabs, multiple wounds, anything to get rid this being screaming in agony! Her voice shifted, gentle and mild before, along with her language.
<“I don’t understand why my kind father would care for a spiteful thing like you.”>
<The light and darkness both reside here. Not another step, daughter of Ianael.>

Two steps toward the injured angel and the disembodied voice stopped Amber, extinguishing the dark spark in her almost immediately. Sparkles of emerald green light materialized in front of Rasiel, forming a human shape. The glowing lights slowly transformed into a dark-skinned woman with long, flowing hair of a silvery blue and similar golden eyes as Rasiel. The woman dressed in royal purple garments, a glowing wheel of fire suspended just behind her head in a fiery halo. A glare casted by the Virtue, his earlier fright cast aside so suddenly and replaced by pure anger towards the woman:
"Nuriel! I told you I wasn't through with this!"
The beauty of a woman, the angel the Virtue called 'Nuriel' seemed to ignore Rasiel's outburst. She looked to the nephilim first and then to the dunpeal but there was little in way of emotion from her.
"You are weakened, far too long on your mission. Had I not interfered, you would have perished."
Her lips never moved but her voice was audible. In the middle of her forehead, a third eye opened, revealing an iris of swirling silver. The fire wheel hovering behind the woman followed suit; several eyes lined along the wheel with irises of various wild colors opened up and fixated on Vash and Amber.
“This space is under my jurisdiction. Do not attempt an attack. You will certainly lose.”
So many eyes, more lovely than the grigori’s eyes that followed the nephilim on several occasions...though they were not of the grigori, Amber still had been conditioned enough to take a step back towards Vash.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Once the light slowly returned to the room, the results of the attack were clearly visible. Rasiel was in shock, either from the massive damages he suffered or the disbelief of being effectively beaten. The dunpeal couldn't help but smirk at his handywork. The so-called divine protectors were more mortal than they believed. He had to unleash quite a powerful blast, but Vash was pleased with the results. Now they would just need to finish off this bastardized piece of Heaven and Amber would rid of her horrible nightmare.
If only he could do it himself. His body felt weakened from the blast and faultered at that moment. With a quick stab into the ground, he managed to keep himself up by using his sword for support. His body quivered as it strained to keep itself from falling over. His breathing was heavy and drawn out, forcing itself to calm down to show as little weakness as possible. He needed to at least appear stronger than he felt at that moment in time. Luckily, Amber was already moving towards the angel, her intent to kill.
Before any blow could be struck, the angel named Nuriel appeared before them. Her appearence was even stranger still than that of Rasiel. Her large halo of eyes gazed upon the two half-breeds in a somewhat disgusted manner. She was clearly ready to protect her wounded ilk but would halt the attempt at any further damage being delt to the children as well. It was now a stand still between the angels and the forsaken, those whom dared resist the powers of both Heaven and Hell. Feeling his body start to regain control of itself, Vash lifted his sword off the ground and slid sideways to join Amber, never taking his eyes off the two angels.
"I believe," Vash began with a smirk on his face, "that was exactly what Rasiel thought as well. Now look at him. He would have been reduced to ash, if that, if you had not interfeared. I dare say you are in no position to tell me what I can and cannot do."
She was correct in saying she could destroy him, however. For now, he was still trying to recouperate from such a large expendature of energy. Though the attack was fueled by an external source, it still put a strain on his body to contain such a vast power before unleashing it in a controlled manner. He needed a few moments to gather himself before he stood a chance of going toe-to-toe with the vixen that had recently appeared. That is, if he even needed to.
"Luckily, I was in no mood to be rudely disturbed in the first place. If you could kindly leave this room, this school, this mere existance and never return, I am sure this misunderstanding will not be repeated."
"I am merely sick of seeing Amber constantly tormented with your twisted games. Rasiel was foolish enough to continue them, but I do hope you will not make the same mistake. She has done you no wrong and why you must torture her delicate soul with your constant nightmares is pure, twsited evil. I only ask that you cease your pointless fued and let her live whatever life of good intentions she desires. Now leave, unless you do not value your very existance!"
Vash had been starring at Nuriel in her three central eyes with a firey intensity. His own eyes were slowly fading in and out, signaling his wavering, but strengthening, power. He kept his sword low to the ground, the point almost touching the floor. He stood close enough that the blade crossed Amber's path, ready to protect her. As for the dunpeal, he stood sideways, looking as intimidating as ever. The shadows began to once again creep around him in a black mist. It floated around, not being so subtle this time around in repowering their master. He didn't want another fight, but he also wanted Amber to be safe, once and for all. If it came to bloodshed, so be it!

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
The blazing wheel with eyes of all colors lining the rims and the lovely robed figure with a third eye of silver emitting a strong scent of menthol. Though her wings were not visible, Amber could imagine them being sparkling emerald green and translucent. The winged girl had known it the moment the eyes on the firey wheel settled on her. Nuriel was one of the “many-eyed” beings the prophet Ezekiel had described, the third choir of the of the first hierarchy:
“She’s a throne...” Amber whispered to Vash, never taking her eyes off the being.
As if they had heard Amber’s thoughts and whispers, the eyes of Nuriel’s wheel stared at the two half-bloods, scrutinizing and suspicious of their presence. They became especially defensive, narrowing at Vash when he spoke:
"I believe that was exactly what Rasiel thought as well. Now look at him. He would have been reduced to ash, if that, if you had not interfeared. I dare say you are in no position to tell me what I can and cannot do."
The Throne Nuriel had a hand to her chin, appearing she had been concentrating on something else other than what the Dunpeal was saying. Her golden eyes seemed to stare right through them, studying them from the inside out.
“Ah, I see it now. It seems the grigori were correct as well...how problematic. In any case, child of darkness, it is not my intent or my mission to do any harm to you or Ianael’s daughter. However if you intend to attack, I warn you that it is futile. Had Rasiel paid attention to who you were, he would’ve fared better.”
“Silence!” Rasiel shouted in apparent annoyance. “Do not speak as if I’m not here! Nuriel, this is still my assignment, I will finish it even if it means the destruction of this body!”
"Luckily, I was in no mood to be rudely disturbed in the first place. If you could kindly leave this room, this school, this mere existance and never return, I am sure this misunderstanding will not be repeated. I am merely sick of seeing Amber constantly tormented with your twisted games. Rasiel was foolish enough to continue them, but I do hope you will not make the same mistake. She has done you no wrong and why you must torture her delicate soul with your constant nightmares is pure, twisted evil. I only ask that you cease your pointless fued and let her live whatever life of good intentions she desires. Now leave, unless you do not value your very existence!"
The kind words brought both a slight blush to Amber’s cheeks and a sinking feeling. She was not sure how much Vash had used to decimate Rasiel, but she had a feeling that even if they both attacked the Throne...Amber clenched the grip of her sword. That would be disasterous but it could be possible, all dependant of the Throne’s intentions.
The armless Rasiel seemed to have gained some of his earlier holier-than-thou attitude: “Oho! How terribly adorable! See Nuriel? The dark abomination of the devils is demanding we leave the innocent nephilim be! Let’s just kill them botd and head back to Heaven!”
The vixen stared around the room seeming to ignore the dunpeal, the nephilim and even her annoying comrade. The tell-tale iridescent glass that belonged to Rasiel clung to the walls and ceiling like a layer of ice. Shards of glass were everywhere and large stalacites penetrated through the bed. Nuriel narrowed her eyes at the mess and whispered:
“Defaeco!”
Upon her decree, small emerald sparkles rose from her hand and scattered all over the room, sticking to the glass. The glass began to melt into opaline liquid, glowing and slick to the touch before evaporating. Though Rasiel’s glass may have vanished, Amber’s mattress still bore the large tears from the fallen stalacites. Now that the mess was clean, Nuriel turned to face Rasiel.
“Rasiel, your mission is done. You have exceeded your allotted time and require recuperation.”
The expression on the proud angel’s face was the kind a child would make when receiving a slap in the face by a parent. That shock morphed quickly into fury: “Nuriel, I told you I wasn’t-“
“That’s an order Rasiel. Know your place and remember that you will not do the Lord any favor if you are dead. I will deal with these two as my orders see fit.”
Rasiel opened his mouth to protest but had decided against it. He shot both Amber and Vash a dirty glare before he turned into a sphere of light and shot into the dresser mirror, leaving ripples like water behind. Now with the pest gone, Nuriel turned her attention to the two students, the wheel floating behind her never letting the two from their sight.
“What is it about this realm that leads even the most righteous beings astray?” The statement was more a lofty pondering and then she would direct her words to Amber and Vash. “As I have stated before, conversion nor attack is my mission. However..."
Thrones were beings of constant motion, speedy and powerful without effort; Nuriel was at one end of the room on second and by the next second she stood before the dunpeal and nephilim. She was actually taller than she appeared, in fact just an inch shy of Vash’s height and the scent of menthol surrounding her was even stronger in her immediate presence that it stung Amber’s nose and throat. The winged girl covered her mouth and nose; even coughing was painful!
"I cannot help but to be curious to your situation...It's not often that opposing forces could form a bond and even less often to look upon the half breed of my own kind and one of the darker sort."
Nuriel reached her hand out, her fingers brushing through Amber's hair, maybe just out of that curiousity or maybe to test the actions of the dunpeal. The eyes on the wheel's rimsdarted around, watching the shadows that crept around the dunpeal...curious and curiouser.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)“She’s a throne...”
It made little difference what the title of the angel's name was, he merely wanted her gone. As for Rasiel, his part mattered very little. If he went that ment he was out of Amber's hair. if he stayed it ment that he would be slain by the hunter. Nuriel, however, seemed to be a thorn in his side. The lady throne was a power Vash wasn't certain he could contend with. There were things the dunpeal was amazed he could accomplish, but killing two angels was a feat he wasn't certain he could accomplish.
The glass was then removed from the room by small, green particles. It was amazing what these angels could do, however deadly a threat they posessed. Obviously, Rasiel seemed to be the underling of Nuriel if she posessed powers to nullify the effects her assosiate put in place. It was also evident in the way she seemed to speak to him. These were all just missions? Were they not even considered a threat? It was an insult Vash would have to deal with for now. He only wanted Amber's safety and would do whatever it took to get it.
After a small exchange of words, some of his worries were put to rest and some suspicions confirmed. Rasiel retreated back through the mirror he had entered the room through. It gave the dunpeal some breathing room, but not a great deal. There was still the question of Nuriel. She didn't seem phased by the dunpeal actions one bit. Maybe it was confidence, like Rasiel had had, but the hunter had other ideas. His powers were barely enough to defeat the lesser angel, how would he be able to continuously fight a threat such as the lady throne? For the moment, he would allow hismelf to be boggled and continue to search for a solution to the problem.
“What is it about this realm that leads even the most righteous beings astray?” As I have stated before, conversion nor attack is my mission. However..."
Her movements were fast! It was the only way Vash could explain it. Even his eyes couldn't follow the angel as she came up onto them. It was as if she teleported, but he could tell by the way she appeared and disappeared it was pure speed. Did she have other strengths too? What about the extent of her powers? The hunter felt in over his head at the moment with little time to plan. Rasiel had been a mere fluke. Now that the dunpeal had seen a taste of the angel's power, he wasn't sure what to think anymore. He had to come up with some sort of plan. If anything, he would have to stay confident in his own strength!
"I cannot help but to be curious to your situation...It's not often that opposing forces could form a bond and even less often to look upon the half breed of my own kind and one of the darker sort."
Was this some sort of sick game to her? He was tired of these angels intruding. Then, Nuriel tried something that was almost unthinkable. The angel's hand slowly moved towards Amber, threatening to touch her. Before she could, however, Vash's sword was already there to stop her, lifting the hand up and away on the flat of the blade. His pair of eyes stared down Nuriel's many with a clear flash of red. His power had returned from the momentary lapse, an unknown strength aiding him. Something had triggered some sort of reserve and was now fueling his actions, letting him stand-up to the lady throne. Now was the time for retribution.
"I thought I said to leave..." Vash growled, tossing the hand away from Amber and stepping infront of her protectively.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Amber had expected the throne’s long fingers to brush through her hair but it never happened. Her hand covering her nose and mouth, she opened her eyes to find that Judgment had thwarted the Throne’s attempt to touch her and pushed away from her. It did not make sense to Amber, what was the throne doing here? If the throne had done her job...
"I thought I said to leave..."
Nuriel drew her hand back, reaching behind her to stroke the suspended wheel behind her. The throne seemed more intrigued than surprised or even annoyed by the dunpeal’s actions. In fact, she had expected it. Beings of darkness tend to act in a brash manner. Power and speed were specialties among others. Because of his action, she was better able to assess it, to see it happen right in front of her. How thrilling!
“Confirmation. There is a bond between you two,” She made an imaginary line linking the two half-beings. “Like this...Intertwined and strong. I will take my leave in due time. However, one must wonder-”
Phasing out before their eyes, the vixen reappeared close behind Vash, brushing her hand against his face. Cold pale skin...to be close to one who existed without the light of God. Her body was warm with the holy light, coupled with the blazing wheel of eyes suspended behind her. She spoke in his ear:
“Is this bond strong enough against your true natures? Nephilim are destructive things and will not hesitate in using their alliances and relationships to their benefit alone.”
Nuriel’s presence so close to Vash alarmed Amber to the point where she pointed her sword at the vixen. How dare the being suggest such a notion, using her friends?! How she wanted to stab that sword into Nuriel, just to see angelic blood spill!
“No! That’s not true! I would never do that!”
Nuriel phases out and reappears next to Amber. The vixen’s arms gently wrap around the nephilim’s shoulders, a hand grasping her upper arm so that she would strike out at her. Seeing her up close, Amber could see how lovely the angel was, how undeniably warm she felt, the warmth in her golden eyes that Rasiel lacked. It may have been an illusion of Heaven and Earth but still...
Imagine how much God’s light would burn...
“Ah, but that is the nature of your kind, has always been. Three of the five of your current kind have proved that to be a fact and we await for your time and the other one to come to light...if that is meant to happen. You are so much like him, Ianael...even blessed with his gift.”
Nuriel releases Amber and with a spin, along with her robes and silvery locks, she appears before the two again. Nuriel and her wheel, as if their attention had been caught by something, turned their eyes up toward the ceiling. The room rumbles and the wall behind the Throne began to ripple like water.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)“Confirmation. There is a bond between you two. Like this...Intertwined and strong. I will take my leave in due time. However, one must wonder-”
Vash tried to keep his cool as the angel probed the two teens with questions and observations. He was starting to seriously dislike this holy figure and her overstayed welcome into Amber's room, if she was even welcome in the first place. Rasiel was now out of his grasp and the problem of his friend's nightmares was in question once more. Though the source was now known, it had slipped through his grasp because of Nuriel. Overall, Vash was not pleased with her presence.
“Is this bond strong enough against your true natures? Nephilim are destructive things and will not hesitate in using their alliances and relationships to their benefit alone.”
The warmth the angel radiated wasn't even felt by the dunpeal. He stood completely still, not flinching by such an obvious attempt to goad him into a reaction. Amber, however, was the one to react to the situation. Her sword was trained at Nuriel, poised to strike at any moment. Her anger was starting to get the best of her. He knew what choas emotions brought; they were the power of his abilities, afterall. He only hoped the girl wouldn't start anything foolish before the time to strike was appropriate.
“No! That’s not true! I would never do that!”
Vash felt pleased with that comment. Something stirred inside him, a warm feeling washing over him for a moment. He even cracked a bit of a smile, something to two would completely miss if they weren't paying attention for the few seconds he dared show it. The feeling only complimented the conversation the two had had in the auditorium earlier that day. It was strange, since he knew he wasn't supposed to have feelings like these by nature, but it felt right somehow...
“Ah, but that is the nature of your kind, has always been. Three of the five of your current kind have proved that to be a fact and we await for your time and the other one to come to light...if that is meant to happen. You are so much like him, Ianael...even blessed with his gift.”
The statement finally triggered Vash. He had had just about enough of Nuriel and her pompus way about the two teenagers. She had crossed a line with her supposed wisdom. How dare that angel tell Amber what she was to become!? Who even knew if it was true? He looked directly at Amber in disbelief. He couldn't imagine her turning into some heartless killer. There was just no way...That was his sin to bear, not her's...
"You bitch..." he began, his voice soft and low, "you know nothing. If you had taken the time to even think about what you had said, you would have realised it was only a testament to your idiocy. If everything worked as you said, Amber or I would not be standing here. By nature, we should have killed eachother long ago. If we were determined by our supposed nature, this meeting would not have existed.
Though you have turned a blind eye to what may be your eventual downfall. What you fail to see is that your theories on the psyche of Heaven and the Underworld are flawed. Amber is one of the kidnest people I have ever met, yet all you see is a murder waiting to happen. Maybe it is only because you surround her with your accusations and horrid nightmares that your half-angels have turned to violence instead of peace. You are the cause of your research, something that makes your views a poison to those who are truly educated. So spare us your faulty wisdom and leave us be, damned throne! I am no longer asking and if you do not leave, you may find yourself piting Rasiel through your own experiences!"
The room began to shake at that very moment. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but he was already disatisfied with his luck in these past few minutes. He was prepared for the worst when he stepped closer to Ambers side, wrapping an arm protectively around her. Whatever was happening, he didn't want to be caught of guard like the last two enterances the angels had made.

Re: An Epilogue: Te Adamo (Hellsy)
Amber was struck silent hearing Vash’s words, knowing full well the things Nuriel said pinching a nerve of sorts. Kind words, true words...had they followed their nature, they would not even be in the same room, alive! Maybe it was the human side in creation by her mother that saved her from this nature the Throne insisted upon. She felt herself wanting to thank both, Vash and her mother, for keeping her sanity in check. Only if things did not become worse from there on.
Bells, gentle bells ringing thrice before settling. Amber could hear it, faint but apparent. The only other time she could remember hearing faint bells was with a gust of wind, just as her the man, the angel that helped her birth, passed through the threshold-
“Stay close...” And Vash’s arm wrapping around her snapped her from that monochrome winter’s memory. The room rumbled again though the bells had long since quieted. The winged girl looked up at Vash and then to calm Nuriel, wondering what could possibly happen next. A monster? A seraphim? God Himself?
Nuriel closes her three eyes and the firey wheel behind her mimics her. She made little indication that she had even considered what the dunpeal had been declaring, almost as if she had been ignoring him. Finally she opened her eyes to stare at the two, the third eye that had been silver now was a bright emerald green. On the wheel, the silver eye took the emerald eye’s place. What she said next carried a warmth, as if somthing the dunpeal had said pleased or amused her:
“You are strong in your convictions, child. I do not expect you to believe my words nor I care not to coerce you. However a successful bond...that will serve you both well I assume. Do cease your threats, Child of Darkness, as my observations have been made.”
The third eye blinked and suddenly the room lit up in a sea of bright green sparkles that cling to every corner of the dorm. The room glowed with an eerie, almost dream-like green light.
“Nullus Coerceo.” The sparkles remained in slow pulses of light; her ability of Nullification in full effect. They had cleaned Rasiel's mess but had remained all over the room, dimming unnoticed until her command. Nuriel settled her eyes on Amber again. What was it about this child-
“Child of Ianael, though you have chosen your path, we will not cease to convert you. Those in the dark will not cease to steal your light. Be certain that you understand this.”
Nuriel blinks again, the third eye changing from green to crimson, the former taking the spot of the latter on the wheel. The sparkles all began to move from one side of the room until they surrounded the Throne like a glittering force-field. The room rumbles one last time, a large tremor, as if something large had knocked the room from outside the dorm hallway. Nuriel’s red eye would meet Vash’s as symbols began to appear on the wall, one by one:
(Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus-)
In the midst of the tremors, Amber clutched on to Vash, trying to fend off the waves of nausea and dizziness. There was only one reason for this disorienting feeling:
“Vash...Vash, it’s one of the...”
(Gemini, Cancer, Leo-)
A voice invade’s Vash’s mind, overriding Amber’s: -matter of seconds. You have nothing to fear, but if you wish to spare the neflet from indescribable pain, be certain that she is hidden from the grigori’s sight. Fare well.
