Animal Planet to launch news show

Cable TV's Animal Planet Monday announced its new The Animal Planet Report, a half-hour weekly current events series.
The show hosted by Michelle Beadle and produced by Linda Ellerbee's Lucky Duck Productions, will bow Friday at 9 p.m. ET, the Silver Spring, Md.-based network said in a news release.
The show will cover an array of topics ranging from animal news in the business world, conservation issues, new species and human-interest type stories.
Beadle has previously worked with CBS, ESPN and The Travel Channel.

I saw that new one last night, it is pretty good, it showed
a no kill shelter. I sure felt sorry for that dalmation, glad
they decided to keep him.

I haven't seen the new show--it's about the North Shore Animal Clinic, I believe. They have an excellent reputation.
They were one of the first 'private' groups to show up in the Gulf after Hurricane Katrina.

Yepper, that was the one. They are a very dedicated group.
I like that they saved the poor dalmation, and shame on
the owner for dropping it off!!

They do elvaluate the dogs to see if they can take them, I have seen them give some back to their owners cause they were not good for adoption. They do point them in other directions for help.
