Another rant about my sister
I don't really know if this is a rant, moreso than me gloating and feeling kinda bad about it.
But I totally called it. She is getting divorced... AGAIN.
Quick background for those who don't know:
My sis was a slut in high school. She started playing slowpitch softball and dating her coach when she was 16. They married when she was 18. He was 31 (and did I mention a convicted felon?). They had two kids together. Five years of marriage they broke up, but only after he convinced her to have a threesome and video tape it... I bet that bitch is on the internet somewhere.
Anyway, he gets temp custody of her son, he sexually molests him (5 year old boy) but it cannot be proven in court (no clue why, don't care). Meanwhile, she meets this guy while her son is with his dad (they don't know about molestation yet of course) and "falls in love". They get married after about a month. They have a kid (third for her). Then they get the molested boy back. (end of background)
So anyway, when she first said she was getting married, I totally called it that they were getting divorced within a year. I personally question the third child's paternity. I think she was pregnant when she met him (and most certainly was when they married).
So, he is cheating on her, and saying he hates her son (he is a royal pain in the ass). And it isn't because he was molested. She doesn't teach them any discipline. In short, a horrible mother (not abusive so not too bad I guess...but what about behavioral neglect?)
I am trying to figure out if I should give a @#%$ about it though. I feel sorry for her, but it's that generic kind of pity that you would feel for a stranger I think... I would never wish ill for her. But so many times when I was younger I did. And now Karma has caught up to her. Three kids under 5 years old and they are all going to turn out like @#%$ because she has no idea how to raise them. They are going to be on welfare like she is, sucking from the tit that is the rest of us taxpayers.
Sorry if this is incoherant... Longtime safehousers know what I've been through. Not sure if I am looking for advice. Comments would be welcome.

Sorry to hear about your nieces and nephews.. I dont feel bad for people that do it to themselves, but I do feel bad for the kids.. They didnt do anything.

I feel horrible for the kids. Maybe, MAYBE this will be your sis's wakeup call. But sadly, the pattern will likely continue.
My stepsister is a similar story, but not as much drama... she is my age (29) and she just got married for the 4th time and has 3 children. Each of the 3 has a different dad. I haven't talked to her in 5 years or more because she's just nasty. Her MO is always the same... she dates a guy, lavishes him with attention and sex, gets pregnant, gets married, the guy works his azz off with 2 or 3 jobs because she pouts and whines if she doesn't get her "lifestyle" (i.e. lots of clothes, makeup, jewelry, etc). Then she decides her man isn't spending enough time with her because he's working so many jobs, so she cheats on him and finds the next victim. The only reason she doesn't have a kid with this new husband is because she got her tubes tied... thank goodness.
I think my stepsister's kids are with their grandmother though, so at least they're not in that environment.

Ok so I talked to her on the phone. I gave in... at least it makes my parents happy.
I am quite used to the phone routine. I call her, she yaps for a few hours, doesn't ask how I am doing (or if she does ask, she just doesn't care, you can tell (she says, "uh huh, uh huh, yeah" the whole time, doesn't ask me to elaborate... etc.). Then she hangs up when she runs out of stuff to say.
She seems to try to care about me... she says "I love you" all the damn time. It annoys me, cause I feel I have to say it too.
So I call her, she talks about how she is working for $6.50 an hour and paying $4 an hour for child daycare. Then she starts talking about how her husband doesn't want her first two kids from the previous marriage and that he only wants their daughter. And also, he is gone for weekends at a time, doing what he wants to do, as she said it.
Apparently he cybers people with instant messages, and strange women call the house often.

I can't believe that when I hear it. I know it must be true, because I hear about it a lot. How could you be unwilling to love a child simply because of his genes? Is the only part of a child you love the you in him? How can people be so petty?
I hate to think that her kids are doomed because of her. It's eerie, thinking that, if I had been born to a different set of parents, I could be a completely different person. But there are people who start on the bottom and work their way up. It does happen.

Well, it is not because of his genes. He seemed to like her kids when they were well behaved. But then the little boy went to visit his sperm donor "father" and got raped. His own father RAPED his 5-year-old son. Supposedly there is proof, but Georgia will not prosecute because it didn't happen there, and Texas (where it happened) won't do anything because the rapist child molesting asswipe doesn't live there anymore. This guy now lives in Tampa Florida.
Anyway, I am sure that would do something to a 5-year-old kid's attitude, and it did. He turned into a hellion, unable to be controlled.
Course, I don't think the parenting helped that (on my sis' side). My mom visited them for a few weeks and apparently she lets her kids have the run of the house. The elder daughter (first marriage) supposedly is fine when her big brother isn't around. I believe it. She was sweet when I met her.
I am very scared for his little sisters. People who are molested have a strong chance of being molesters. And they act out in childhood. I don't want them to be victims.
PS: if anyone knows anything about cross-state prosecutions, feel free to post. This guy has warrants for his arrest in Colorado. I know for a fact.

This makes me feel sad.
No matter how bad she may screw up HER life it is hers to screw up and she is still your sister. Taking pleasure in the fact that your sisters relationship ended in a year seems wrong to me! Although there are kids involved your feelings for your sister leaves a bad taste...

Sorry for allt he trouble, sounds like she has it rough. But even though its her fault, and keeps being her fault you are still her sistsr. Ya it sucks, Ya its not your problem. But what about the kids. Even if you dont do it for your sister give the kids a chance.
A buddy of mine had a problem controlling his urges as well. He now has 6 kids with 3 different wives. (2 Each)
He finall got his tubes tied , guess he finally figured out what the birds and the bees kept telling him.
He seems to be doing alright though, works as a male nurse I beleive. ORderly, something like that. Medical profession anyway. And I think she's a doctor or something.
Guess they'll have enough money for the kids.

Well, my personal motto is, "It could always be worse.".
Yea, not much help I know but its the sad truth.
I have a total loser friend named brian who makes a habit of leeching off of women in bad situations.
Long story short.
They are camping up in Nederland/4 Mile in a 8 man tent.
A 4 month year old baby, a 3 year old and a 5 year old, total loser brian and this woman. None of the kids belong to brian and they have 2 dads. They are staying in the moutains because they got into a fight and got her mom kicked out of county housing. She doesn't have a job, he can't hold a job outside of day labor.
I just want to wipe my hands with them.....or call the authorities.
No clue what the next step is or if I want to be the one to take it.
:edit: About his warrants, its pretty simple. Call the police and tell them you know where a wanted felon is. Once he is in custody they will inform Colorado about him and the wheels of the legal system slowly begin to turn.

Your sister sounds a lot like my boyfriend's sister.
Newest thing in her story is that her car got reposessed, so rather than cart her THREE boys around Kentucky in her husband's Jeep Cherokee while he's being deployed to Korea for two years - she goes out and buys a "used" car for $18,000, no money down, which makes her payments only $50 lower than on the car that just got reposessed!
Only two of the boys are her husband's (aka "@#%$") progeny - he treats the oldest one, the one that isn't his, and is incidentally half black, like @#%$. The youngest is about a month old now.
Turns out they're going to stay married now, from all appearances, the whole divorce thing was a 'trying to play the system' to try to get more money from the Army, government, and parents - which didn't work...

Think what you want bro, but you didn't live with her. She @#%$ every guy I had a crush on, she told everyone in the school I was a lesbian because I had never had a boyfriend, she stole money from my parents and she manipulated my friends. She bragged about having sex with an entire baseball team in one night. My life was a living hell.

She took money from your parents, I can assume that your parents now hate her guts now right??? I doubt it, they have probably long since forgiven her.
I have to wonder how she can manupliate your friends, I mean if they really are your friends then anything said against you should be taken with a grain of salt or blatenly asked you about it.
She is your sister learn to forgive her and maybe try to work some of this stuff out!!!
And just so you know, let me fill you in a little bit on my brother:
He is 6 years younger than me, when we were growing up I always got the, "your older you should know better" speal from my parents and my brother took full advantage of it. It was not uncommon for him to punch me, which I would have to ignore because when I did punch him back he would tear up like a 2 year old and go screaming to my parents!
He took several thousand dollars from me while growing up. He would break my stuff, toys when we were little to electronics when we were older.
He told my parents that I pulled a knife on him and threatend to kill him. (which I did not) His little lie got me sent to a juvinile detention center for 9 months.
When he got older he got into drugs and gangs and our time together did not get any better. There is a lot more but I figured that would be enough to tide you over
But... He is still my brother and I still love him. Every time he got into trouble I felt sorry for him and hoped he could turn his life around.
On a plus note he has but regardless of that he would have always been welcome in my house as he is my brother!
