Any questions?
Anything specific you want to talk about? NPCs? Plot points?

Who was the dude in the coloful clothing on the horse we would see from time to time? Last time it was on the sea voyage to Bullud's Island.

Re: Any questions?
Ah! That was a Vhelding noble named Gavuljhan. The party first met him outside Tunlura as he was seeking a magic gong to cure his land of a plague of scorpions.
Gavuljhan followed clues to the prize of his quest into the Forest of Ulm where Zhoskelgar had been waiting for him. The Dragonewt secured the gong centuries ago knowing that someday Gavuljhan would come looking for it. Zhoskelgar made the Vhelding hero perform a series of tasks - basically involving slaying Xorn and other Chaos baddies in the Forest of Ulm - then gave him the gong.
When the companions last saw him, riding like hell across the surface of the ocean, the Vhelding rider was speeding home with the his prize.
Gavuljhan was actually part of a seperate plot line the party might have followed had they stayed in Tunlura, but they went south to Ravensgate instead.

What was behind the door in Old Kurlew? You know the one with the combination lock and the apparitions of the Lightbringers...

Re: Any questions?
A darkleech the size of a house.
You know that part of the adventure, under Yashai's palace, when Draxim went up to the creaking door and a darkleech was behind it and it nearly smothered him? It was going to be like that, only worse.
After the darkleech killed Draxim instantly, and smothered whoever else didn't make a Reflex save, it would have chased them across the stone bridge. Some Jump checks would have further culled the party.
The survivors would have been on the far side of the deep pit, but oh no... not safe. The doorway led to the depths of the Pit of Slaeg Gnara, and a bunch of very mean Shadows would have poured out. Possessions. Death. Screaming.
You can bet the campaign would have taken quite a different turn had that door been opened.

Phew! Vindication! I was always worried that we had missed some major wonderful artifact that would have saved the planet or something

Nope. Draxim pretty much saved everyone's lives, especially his own.

Re: Any questions?
The woman was the golem, formerly the Humaki priestess Aiasarra. Read some of the Big Picture stuff for more details. She didn't fall from the sky so much as walk across the bottom of the river, scale up the Ravensgate city wall, and drop down to the street some forty feet below. Golems are tough.
The sky was swimming with sharks, to be specific, and it was one of Atan's hallucinations. The sharks were there to foreshadow the coming conflict with the Chaos God Salhaug, and to link the golem to that conflict. The fact that Atan and Kezib were both tortured by drowning is no coincidence either.

Re: Any questions?
1) Was The Gorgon a xorn?
2) Were the dragonnewts behind the time travel, or were they equally captive to it?
3) Was the Gorgon the creature that possessed Druuga, and what was his/its relationship to Joru?
4) What were the Lunar legionnaires doing in the depths? Had time changed enough that the Empire never left?

Re: Any questions?

No, he was a Rakshasa.
2) Were the dragonnewts behind the time travel, or were they equally captive to it?
It was Zhoskelgar's doing.
3) Was the Gorgon the creature that possessed Druuga, and what was his/its relationship to Joru?
The Gorgon was hunting Madragar because he thought that Edrigan might have one of the disks in the Tower of Mists. Once he figured out that wasn't the case, the Gorgon gave Druuga to Ckarakos and his minions.
Ckarakos then used the assembled disks to experiment on Druuga, turning him into that monster.
Joru was spiritually attached to the Cairnhollow book, and was able to exert just enough influence over Druuga to make him run away.
4) What were the Lunar legionnaires doing in the depths? Had time changed enough that the Empire never left?
Those legionnaires were supposed to be some of the last to leave Moagara, but the Xorn attacked the dragonewt temple (where the legionnaires were stationed) and they were trapped. The Valgorah then used special rituals to make them undead.

Re: Any questions?
1. What about the legionairre that almost wasted the entire party on the stair under Old Kurlew? Was he more than he seemed?
2. Were you actually giving modifiers based on belief/ritual? If so I think that is really cool. Simple belief and/or confidence moves mountains in the real world, so why not in game terms as well
3. When are you starting your new campaign?

Just a mercenary.

Sometimes, though the party priests sometimes strayed drastically from the Lightbringer dogma.

Re: Any questions?

Not a city, just the Fortress of Lead. I just thought it would be interesting.
What was the trick to opening the lock?
No, you did figure it out. Had Draxim kept turning the lock would have opened and the badness would have ensued.

Re: Do I get any exp for this?
Leave it to Mr. Nolan to turn the miracle of birth into a dig about who got more XP. (I know, I know, he started it)
Scott, I think he should lose 251 experience for this affront.
