I live and hunt in Texas, so I enjoy plentiful dove and quail hunting. :) I got a new German Short-Haired Pointer puppy that I'm training to retrieve and point, which will make hunting a hell of a lot easier. :P

I do. I hunt pheasent and grouse and if our state would soon let us hunt dove i would hunt dove too.

I live north of Big Buck Hunter, so yes i hunt Upland when i have no choice. Oh sept. 29 is too far off. I miss the Duckies. :(

i only went pheasent hunting once and LOVED it but i winged the bird and trey to shoot it in the head froim 10 feet away with a 20gauge witha mod choke eh he he bad idea ... the bird was BLOWN to smitherines :rollin
but i did get some nice 20+" feathers

heh, i got you beat. I winged one, saw it land in a CRP field, ran directly where it landed, stepped on it, it ran, at about 5 feet i nailed the sucker in the back with a 12 gauge 2 ¾" load of #6's. However, since im such a dang good shot, i only blew up the back half of him, leaving the meat untouched.Was really a hell of a shot for 5 feet.
