June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.

Physical Appearance:
Ashley has long blonde hair with dark brown highlights that falls to the middle of her back. Her skin is a deep tan color. She stands at 5’8”. Her eyes are a deep green, but they show emptiness more often than happiness. She has thin eyebrows and a round face.
Her nose is small but round. Her smile brightens a room. She wears black, wire rimmed glasses for reading. She has faded lines from cuts and scratches along her back and bruises on her legs from the beating she received from an uncle just days before school began. She has a slender frame. Freckles cover her shoulders. Her legs are long as are her arms.
She has large feet- a size nine, while her hands are somewhat smaller, with narrow fingers. There is always dirt underneath her fingers as she doesn’t like to clean them. She has a large bust and a round butt. Also, a small faded cut mark dwells just above her right eye, courtesy of her cat, Jasmine. She loves to wear jeans and polo t-shirts when not in her school uniform. She adores jewelry and baggy sweatshirts. She can always be found in skater shoes when journeying to Hogsmeade.
Personality:
Ashley is a very jealous person but a little bit of her wishes to see everyone else happy over herself. She tends to give more than receive and it never bothers her when others don’t return the favor. She is forgiving most of the time, but has been known to hold a grudge if the matter is a serious one. She has not once stayed mad at a friend for something as petty as a stolen boyfriend or other ridiculous things of that sort. She can be very stubborn and doesn’t normally trust people easily after the incident with her uncle, in which he beat her. She tends to be quite paranoid and sketchy around people and she strays away from large crowds.
Ashley isn’t the controlling type but isn’t always easy going either, and there have been times when she simply throws the two together and is a controlling, easygoing, fun loving person. She hates bullies, something that was brought out in her after her beating and will do what it takes to help others, although she has had her share in the torment. She is confident and secure with who she is, but at times she loses site of that and goes back to that one moment with her uncle. She is very supportive of others thoughts and dreams but usually likes her own thoughts more. She thinks highly of herself but not to the point that she would be branded as a snob.
Ashley also has a very competitive side to her and loves to compete with others. She never judges others for what they don’t have or what they want out of an experience, nor she only think of herself every moment of the day. She tends to push for the well being of others and would let herself get hurt to save someone that she cared about. She loves to listen to what others have to say but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like herself to be heard. She overall practical and very motivated. She always pushes herself to work harder. She’s pretty well organized which comes in handy as she has no real sense of direction. If she lost something, it would probably be lost forever. She leads rather than follows which tends to get her in trouble.
Ashley has never really been disciplined except for the one time with her uncle. She tries to bend the rules everyday. She kind-hearted and conserving; always going out of her way to save everything, especially her money. She is a very impatient girl, but brave. She is very ambitious and jumps into the biggest risks. She is very mature for her age and lighthearted, plus she loves to make people laugh, even if she herself is not laughing. She is very passionate in what she does, no matter what the outcome. She can be very emotional, but she always manages to stay calm in the situation. She is very confrontational and profound.
She loves to argue and debate. She always follows through and does just talk. She’s straightforward, honest, and has pretty good communication skills. She does bottle things up at times though and has to be coaxed to get the information out. She also has a tendency to inspire, calm, and lift the spirits of those around her.
History:
Ashley was born in the master bedroom of her parent’s estate in Cork, Ireland on January the eighteenth. She is the older of two children, her youngest being no more than three years old. She had a rather normal childhood, up until her tenth birthday. It was the day in which she found out that her mother was a witch and the day that her father filed for divorce from her mother.
Ashley’s father didn’t like the fact that his wife had hidden this from him up until now. In the divorce, Ashley decided to live with her mother in Cork while her father moved to Dublin. She soon discovered that she was a witch, just like her mother and when her letter to Hogwarts arrived, she was overly ecstatic. This news caused her father to become even angrier than he had been to begin with and he broke off all contact with his wife and daughter. His bitterness didn’t last long however, as he said that he missed Ashley terrible and she went to visit him at her uncle’s ranch and made arrangements to visit him every year for a week before school.
On the train to Hogwarts for her first year, she made a few good friends. She did pretty well, excelling in Charms quickly as it was the class that her mother had prepped her for before attending school. She did poorly in History of Magic, falling asleep in every class not helping her much. Even though she did poorly, she passed her exams without much flaw.
Her second year was only a little better. The friends she had made the previous year hadn’t kept in touch at all during the summer months and in coming back, she had only a few close friends. She used her free time to study and catch up in making her grades a little better. By the end of the year she had discovered new friends, one in which she had many adventures and even caused plenty of trouble in the process. She went home with decent grades and a best friend.
Third year trip on the train was terrible. She had forgotten several school books and Jasmine, her cat, somehow ended up being locked in her school trunk. She got in a lot of trouble when she knocked over a shelf in the library on purpose. Her grades dropped drastically for the first term, but by the second she had just barely managed to pull them up. She went home happy with her school work and during the summer, she even had her best friend come visit.
Her fourth year was overall her best. Her grades were above normal. While studying one afternoon in the library, she received news that her mother was to be married to David Walker, a wizard from Dublin that her mother had met while on a business trip. Ashley was pulled from school to be maid of honor. Several weeks later, she received an owl that there would be a new addition to the Walker family; a little boy that would be named Tyler. Ashley couldn’t have been happier. From then on, she pushed herself even harder and worked side by side with her mother and David to heighten her skills.
She had began to show vast progress in her subjects the summer before her fifth year of school, when she again, as she normally would, go visit her father at her uncle’s ranch. Ashley's uncle was a wizard, with a very bad temper. Her father hadn't a clue of this and Ashley had only just found out of the shocking news. He didn't like kids too much, and didn't have any of his own either. All summer she had spent with her father, avoiding her uncle at all costs.
Everything had been going good until her uncle said that she was being smart. Her father was a way at work and her uncle didn’t like her tone when she apologized. He beat her and she quickly wrote home. From that point on, she hasn’t been in contact with her father, she had been too ashamed of the fact that it had happened. He would have told her that since she had powers and everything, that she should have been able to prevent it. She was scared to go back.
In going home, she was nervous and timid all the time. Her magic level had dropped drastically and when her mother and David tested her spells before returning to Hogwarts, she could do half of them. It was then that she told them of what had happened with her uncle. She longed to return to school in a few days, in which she would try and forget by bury herself in her studies.
Roleplay Sample:
It was windy, and the branches on the trees shook softly as the rain slowly began to fall from the dark sky up above. She sat alone, under a large tree, letting the wind whip at her face, tossing her long blonde hair around her. She drew her cloak closer to her shivering body as a tear slid down her face. She hadn’t realized how good it felt to be back a school and away from her Uncle’s Ranch than she did right now. She looked out at the lake as she wiped the tears from her sullen eyes. Ripples were generated from the falling rain. She shivered again as she adverted her eyes toward the castle. Maybe she should go back in. She was getting cold. ‘Nah.’ she thought to herself after a brief moment. Inside was just a mass of students and teachers, all ready and waiting to ask her how her break was. She was in no real mood to explain her sadness. She sighed softly. Lifting her head, she rested her back against the trunk of the tree, shifting now and then to get comfortable. She stared up at the sky, the rain falling through the thick tree branches and onto her face and she started to cry again. She wasn’t even sure why she was so upset. The tears soon mingle with the dripping rain and she closed her eyes softly, thinking of better times. She quickly drifted off to sleep.
A smile lit up her face as a vision of her little brother entered her mind. He was playing with a pile of rocks, picking them up and tossing them deftly into a small puddle. He would laugh happily as each one in turn, made a splash in the water. It had just rained. She was standing on the lawn of her estate, keeping an eye on Tyler. She was no more than fourteen years old. Tyler ran to get some more rocks, right down the path. A pickup truck came rambling up the gravel drive, the gardener coming to tend to the lawns. She watched as the truck came closer and closer to where Tyler crouched, poking at a snail with a stick. Her eyes lit up with impending fear and ran to scoop him up…
“Tyler!”
She sat up, her breath ragged. She sighed softly as she placed a hand on her forehead. It was just a dream. A terrible dream. She looked out at the lake once more before getting to her feet. She dusted her skirt off once and straightened her shirt before she pulled her cloak around her and ran toward the castle, the picture of her brother smiling at her filling up her thoughts.
