A few questions about ball joints... How can you identify if they need replacing? Has anyone done this themselves, (how hard/easy)? How long (roughly) should they last under average road/driving conditions? Would replacement units from Supercheap (approx. $50) do the job, or would it PAY ('scuse the pun) to use Toyota ones? Is there any other common sense suspension issues, that should be tackled at the same time as ball joints? A few questions I know  but as always I appreciate greatly any feedback or advice.
