Birmingham NIA my arse
Anyone else get miffed about Wogans comment that if we won, 2005 would be in Birmingham.

What about Manchester MEN, or Millenium Stadium Cardiff.. or Barrow in Furness Bus Depot ???

Well, it was in Birmingham last time wasn't it? :) But it would be cool in a stadium or sommit....that what all the other coutries seem to have done in recent years :)

It is the UK's Eurovision home now it would appear after the 1998 show was held there. But lets be fair to them, they didnt get the new national stadium, they didnt get the Olympics and they're always ignored on everything, so giving them Eurovision wouldnt have been that much of a sacriface would it?:lol

I thought people would just be glad that some big event, whatever it is, wasn't going to be held in London in the Millennium tent. Birmingham is reasonably centralish - at least more so than London.

Although the spiritual home of Eurovision in the UK is probably Brighton.

Birmingham is also a dump, it just isn't quite as pox ridden as Manchester. Let us both just be grateful we don't live in Newcastle (or Southend :b )
