Board rules
The rules of this board are similar to most RPG boards and the old ones. They're here to keep the peace and to ensure an enjoyable RP-ing environment. These are the rules for this board, the rules that if you don't follow could result in bannings, punishments and not so cool stuff like that. I will say this right now...this is a more ADULT RPG board here, and we will deal with things like adults. If you act like a child when you don't get your way, you will be dealt with however the staff member sees fit. Drugs, abuse, and other dark and nasty things will happen here. Don't like it...start hitting that back button right now.
1] If there is a problem, I will what ever I feel is right to solve the problem. Even if breaking some or all of the rules is the only way to fix it. Remember it's my damn prerogative. You have no say. I can do whatever I want; on a whim...Just to make that clear....
2] Please don't God-mod. This is everyone's first and ONLY warning. Doing so will result in a 3 to 4 day ban. And that is for only the first time that you God-Mod. As you Continue to GM, the punishment gets longer and longer until you are PERMENTLY BANNED!
3] If you're going to have sex, put a warning on the topic. That would be helpful. Also rate it so we can put it in the mature thread and give you the leave to get in there to keep your thing going.
Also, rape and heats can be done at this board since this is more ADULT style and whatnot. However, you must get consent from the other player and let one of the staff know. Also, both must speak to the staff. If I hear about you just going to do it without any consent, then you will have to make a new character and suffer a few days ban from the board.
4] If you have any problems with anyone, contact me and the other Administrators and Moderators and we'll do our best to take care of it. If we are not busy with real life that is. But don't come complaining to us about every little thing that you don't like. And ONLY contact us AFTER you have tried to solve the problem on your own. This goes for any problem. You will send it to an Admin or Mod Via EZinbox.
5] Play nice. I don't want to see any flaming or spamming. That is on the Board and IN chat. It will not take me much to ban you from the board forever. Word of warning...don't piss me off.
6] Respect all of the staff. We are here to help you. We enjoy a joke as much as the next person, but be cautious, because sometimes, just like everyone else, we are not in a playing mood.
7] You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT use a character from ANY Anime. You can take the anime-ish powers and all but you have to make it as original as possible. It cannot be the same as it is from the anime.
8]You will also need make sure you check the locked powers list first. If you are told that your power is too powerful, change it. Do not try to whine and cry about it. That will only get you booted from the board that much quicker. Want a hint. Do not use ant words that can be seen as catch all words in power descriptions. These would include words such as, everything, anything, nothing etc. etc.
9] SIGs and Icons, no restrictions, they just have to be a reasonable size. Not too big, and if you are told to change it, do so. Or face the wrath of the Admin.
10] You don't need approval for most storylines. However, if you are going to do something like a board wide SL consult an Admin or Mod first. DO NOT destroy school buildings without 1 Admin and 1 Mod consenting it first.
11 ] Chat is for MEMBERS ONLY. Therefore if your Character Profile isn't in the Sign-Up area and you are caught in chat and you haven't discussed your presence there to the Administrator or Moderator who is in chat at the time, you will be removed from chat never to return, or at least until we get around to going through the boot list.
12] Pets and small creatures that can wonder off on their own count as a character and will need their own profile. HOWEVER, Summons DO NOT. Only because they cannot go off on their own and discover things about campus. They are tied to their summoner; no REAL relationship can be created with them via other characters.
13] All NPC's must be approved by an Admin. You simply post them in the NPC forum and we will get to them ASAP. In order to get approved you have to have at least 150 posts.
14] Let's say that you have one character, and you want to make another. Just like NPC's, a new char has to be approved. Post it in the proper forum and wait for approval. You need 550 posts to have a second character approved. After you recieve your approval for your second character, if you decide to create any more characters, you will only need 175 posts for approval. HOWEVER, these profiles have to be the best, and if they are rejected, that's it.
15] If you want to give your character a means of transportation or add to them a non-weapon type item you will need 120 IN CHARACTER posts. You will be allowed to Add another non-weapon type item in your next 120 IC posts. And so on and so forth. Also, you will need a means of paying for your transportation. Such as a job, this means you have to RP getting this item. If you want to be wealthy, you are going to have to make that part of your characters history. Also know that the non-weapon type item that you add to your profile, will take away 1 upgrade. This means you will have to wait for 240 posts to come inorder to add another non-weapon type item.
16] Because I think it needs to be explained, you can only do one or the other, New character, new power/weapon, NPC, or new item per the amount of IC posts needed. There may come an instance where you will have to choose between one or the other. Choose wisely.
17] All new powers must be accepted. They are to be requested upon and approved by an admin. The moderators and admins will comment on your new requested power as soon as they are able to. If they say something needs to be changed, just like with characters, it means it needs to be changed.
18] Because there has been a lot of complaining about this one, I have decided to amend it and make it RPer friendly and you all happy.
This is how the power issue is going to be broken down. And keep in mind that this is only to start out with; you may add either a power or a weapon as your IC post count goes up. REMINDER: These are just what you will start off with.

In order to gain a BRAND new power that isn't connected to your oringinal power, you will need 300 posts.
You will need 250 posts to expand on a power.
HOWEVER, if the RPer decides to expand on their orignal power, they can upgrade it every 150 posts. This could be used to allow the character to gain better control on said power.
Here's the Breakdown
Power Upgrades -
Upgrade (Simple Class) - This is when you upgrade a power you already have. I.E., you have fire control. Now you can control the fire, more of it, noticeably better than before. Cost: 150
Upgrade (Middle Class) - This is when you take a new power that still has some logical relation to a power you already have. I.E., you have the power to read emotions, now you have the power to change emotions. Cost: 250
Upgrade (Upper Class) - This is when you take a new power that is completely new for your character, and is like nothing she/he has ever done before. I.E., you have super speed, and now you have the power to read minds. Cost: 300
19] We like long posts here. So, in lamens terms I am asking, and I only ask once, that you write posts that have at least four (4) lines. The more the merrier and if you can't do that, leave or be banned. And in all that is blue and holy, PARAGRAPH FORM! PLEASE!
20] As far as killing goes, you can only kill another character if the owner of that character allows it. If you yourself is going to be killed let us know so we can take the proper actions. If you want to keep them around, let one of us know and we will move them to the graveyard. If not, then please delete that character from your file.
21] Don't bug people to post. If they tell us that you have, you will be banned. Plain and simple. They don't come on here to be hassled. It takes some longer to post. If you want real time, there are MUDS or you could go outside and talk to people.
22 ] You can be in more than one place at a time. Sure it can be boring waiting for others to post, and we all know that we have real lives as well. However if you are dead, then you are in a graveyard.... Dead. That means, whenever you die, all your other threads with that character stop, because you are dead..... Don't think I can explain that anymore clearly...
23] If you must use profane language, Like I do, try to refrain, It gets annoying after a while. If every other word is profane, there's something wrong. You need to take a break and read a dictionary, to expand your vocabulary. ^_^
24] If you have any active threads in which you are able to reply, before posting in any of the OOC forums you must reply to your RP thread. No matter how bad you want to be the next in line in a game or think you want to put something everyone else may like. Any threads in which you are communicating with staff about game mechanics, of course, are excluded from this rule. Although please try to keep such inquiries in the proper forums.
25] You are NOT, by any means, to write your posts in l33t or using web acronyms. If you do, you will get banned from the board for a week (5 days) so you can spend that time learning how to write in proper English.
26] If we don't like what you do, and we tell you not to do it, and you do, bye bye!!
27] Remember that this is a game, we encourage fun, and we want everyone you role-play with to have fun. So darn it, just have fun
28] Do NOT post an unfinished character sheet. Unfinished sheets will be deleted on sight by staff. Use Word or Wordpad, they're a role player's best friend.
29] Do not post in the "other characters" thread if you have not reached the number of posts needed for another character. We will delete the profile, and probably yell at you because you didn't follow the rule.
30] DO NOT BUG Staff to check your ANYTHING via PM. We understand that you have you are eager to get started, but you must understand that we have lives. And most times, we give all of our free moments to you. so please be patient. Also, if you bug a staff (Mod or Admin) to check your character Profile, new power so on and so forth, you will receive whatever punishment we desire to hand to you, be it, you have to wait a month for your upgrade to a possible banning. But hopefully, we won't have to be severe.

NOTE: Rules may and WILL be changed, added or taken away without warning, so it is up to you, the members, to continue to look at the rules.
