Carnivorous plants
If you buy the KoS expansion in a shop, not the digital download, you get a carnivorous plant house pet. This is more than just a pet though - you can feed it.

What do you feed it? The below list - they'll only drop from sentient creatures. The first column is the level of the item.

10 pouch of peat
10 flask of rancid water
10 small decaying bone
20 small bag of amomonia sulphate
20 flask of stale water
20 large decaying bone
30 small bag of muriate of potash
30 flask of pond water
30 small polished bone
40 small bag of diatomaceous earth
40 flask of fresh water
40 large polished bone
50 small bag of ammonium nitrate
50 flask of pure water
50 small meaty bone
60 small bag of guano
60 flask of aerated water
60 meaty bone
70 small bag of compost
70 flask of enchanted water
70 large meaty bone

There are combinations of food, water, and fertilizer that will result in different items. All the combinations are as yet unknown... known combinations can be found here:

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tips&message.id=6723

These include: damage shield, power buff, heal, group evac, invis, haste, and other useful potions!

Re: Carnivorous plants
would take you time to get your plant capable of eating me, whereas you and your family i should be able to easily feed it one at a time *rueful chuckle*

*Casts Paralyze on Wilhelmina, picks her up by the ankles and drags her to my place*

*Proceeds to hold her now unstunned above the snapping jaws of my new pet wondering if her family has decided to rethink me and plant food*

No not at all short one

It serves to strike more fear into the males of the family, or push them to seek revenge so i can sit back and bbq gnomes from a distance *chuckle*

Either way I win

*laugh*

you have so already been squashed and have ended up travel from the filth of the harbour downthrough the sewers drains and are currently been walked all over by newbies in the Down Below!!

the only blinking you will be doing is between each life experience that flashes passed your eyes.. and yet another newbie walks on by
