We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Childhoods lost (azure then open)
The day was clear, and sun was out and Stella was walking slowly between the tall elm trees. The sun shining through the leaves and branches left alternate patches of dark and light on the grass, casting the white haired girl in shadow one minute and brightness the next.
The warm weather had drawn Stella out from the sheltered and slightly claustrophobic school grounds and, she thought, gave her a time to think and calm down and, perhaps most importantly, gave her a reason to do all these things away from a certain person who was inadvertently making it necessary for even more time to calm down and to do even more thinking then she was used to.
The grass gave way to sand, and Stella’s steady walk halted. Idly she ran a finger over a brightly coloured bar that was a part of some elaborate play equipment, a smile lingering over her face. There were no loud and exited children sliding and swinging and climbing like monkeys; the equipment was deserted.
Stella wondered over to the swings, and pauses before them for a moment, before tucking her frothy white skirt under her as she sat in one. Had her parents taken her to places like this before they disappeared?
She kicked her legs out, starting the momentum of the swing. Making sure she was holding tightly to the chains she lent her head back, her white hair streaming behind her like a silken flag. Wide blue eyes watched as the world rushed towards her then retreated, only to rush at her again.
He was wearing a black t shirt, blue jeans, his black leather belt that had the belt buckle that was a skull with red rubies set in it, a pair of black tennishoes, and pair of black socks. His birthmark that was in the form of a silver star in the center of his forehead was glowing its faint silver glow, his eyes were glowing their usual bright green aqua color, and his hair was dark blue, and lastly, on his right wrist there was a fanged bracelet that had black and white fangs on it.
Azure noticed the various playground equipment. But something was odd, there were not many people on the equipment or using it. But he noticed a girl on a swing. She was swinging back and forth she seemed to be having a good time. He smiled. He noticed her attire of the white dress she was wearing, and the color of her hair.
I wonder if she would mind my company? he thought
Azure then walked over to one of the other swings next to the girl and started swinging.
"It sure is a nice day outside. I am Azure Zalinus and you are?"

Stella almost fell off her swing when an unfamiliar voice broke the silence. Her hands tightened on the chains and she turned to see the person whose voice had asked the question. Her mouth twitched into a smile and she nodded, still swinging backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards.
“It is! I was surprised to find no one else had taken the opportunity to take their children here and enjoy it.”
The air pushed against her as she swung back, sending her hair streaming out before her, only to have it blown back behind her. Stella closed her eyes for a moment, feeling her momentum in her bones rather then just witnessing it. there was a point, just before her began her backwards swing, when she felt as if she was weightless and perhaps may just stay up there floating until the wind pushed her along to a new destination.
<“I’m Azure Zalinus and you are?”>
“Stella Midnight. It is nice to meet you.”
The boy looked to be about her age, and had certain characteristics about him that prompted her to ask:

Lucas entered the park with the usual smile painted onto his face. He remembered the last time he was here, his encounter with Hawthorne and their little talk about Stella. With a small sigh, Lucas walked through the park. In his hand was a book: Romeo and Juliet. One day soon he would finish reading it. Last time here it was his book of choice and Hawthorne interrupted him, and when attempting to read on in the library Arion had stopped him. Still, it didn't matter to him.
The young musician was dressed like this. Though it wasn't what people usually saw Lucas wearing, he felt that around here people wouldn't judge him on what he wore, as opposed to back home with his father's work associates. With reading glasses perched on his face, Lucas continued to read the book as he moved along through the park on his own.
He stopped himself suddenly, taking the glasses from his face and closing the book. For some reason Lucas didn't feel like reading. His mind has slowly gone back to his roommate Stella. She always left him so incapable of doing anything when he thought about her. The only thing he could ever think to do was write to get his feelings out, but unfortunately he had no pencil. Peering around, Lucas found that he was alone in the park, even though he didn't look hard enough it seemed.
" It just tears me apart not to tell her. Every time I see those blue or grey eyes it makes my heart just skip a beat. I just hang on every sweet, beautiful word that she says. She speaks with such true feeling, as if she's unable to lie at all. Her innocence and beauty just radiates from her when she moves, and it’s more breathtaking than the amazing glow that I see each and every night. Every time I hear her name it inspires me to no end, yet the only thing that can surpass it is her herself. How did I ever get to be as lucky as to have a roommate like-" Lucas ranted, but stopped dead in his tracks.
He saw two people. Without being logical he assumed they heard what he had been saying, even if they were about 10 meters away (roughly 33 feet). Be cool, be cool. Just calm down.... HIDE!! He thought. Lucas spotted a bush just to his left. Though it would still be in their viewing path, if he hid in it he should have been find until they left. He dove straight into the bush, breaking a few twigs and such so he was able to hide in there.
“Stella Midnight. It is nice to meet you.”
Lucas' eyes went wide. " STELLA!?" He shouted. Quickly after, Lucas covered his mouth, but getting his hands there caused a bit of a rustle in the leaves. Daedelus walked into the garden. He had been away for a while and for most of the day he had been meeting up with old friends, and touring the campus to see if anything had changed in his absence. (he was in absence because of the fight with Vash Hellsinger. He ran away for a while after that.)
It was a bright day in Niagra park today. When Daedelus entered, he saw two people talking. One of them was stella, and the other was a student that he had met once in coure meadow by the name of Azure. However what daedelus could not figure out was who was hiding in the bushes. When he heard Azure shout towards the bushes for whoever was hiding there to come out, Daedelus had a thought. I will run out whoever is hididng. he thought to himself with a smile from beneath his hood. Still staying out of sight he walked around to the back of the bushes and seeing someone crouching there in a poor attempt at hiding there. He drew his dragon Longsword as quietly as possible at had it at the back of the persons neck.
"Don't move. Do as I say, and you will not be hurt. Get up and put your hands up. " He said as he had his sword pointed at the persons neck in a position that he could knock them out if neccesary but at the same time not fatally hurt them.
This is going to be interesting. Daedelus thought to himself with a smile.

Said a gentle voice, like a dagger wrapped in silk. Pressed into his back was her own sword.
When Amber had arrived, it was unsure. How long she had been watching this exchange was also unknown. presence.
[Flashback]
She may have actually followed after Lucas without him actually knowing. The winged girl had wanted to talk to him, but her playfulness wanted to pounce on him when he wasn't aware of her presence.
She had been hiding in a tree, wathing two students talking. Ah, now she remembered! The familiar girl was the sister of Jun-bo, Stella. The other she recognized as Azure, the boy she had seen once or twice, both on less than thrilling occasions. She watched over Lucas and found herself drawn into (what would probably morph into) the soap opera. Lucas had spoken of Stella in a warm way back at the lake...maybe!
But Lucas ran into some trouble by none other than another familiar but not-well-known face: Daedelus. The hooded boy had the sword to poor Lucas's neck! Amber's dark eyes narrowed, her anger flared...no one would do such a thing to a friend of hers!
The nephilim dropped down from the tree, her wings fanned out and she landed without as much of a sound. A few years of Tai Chi practice of movements and she had been able to feel the difference! Another soundless hop and she drew her sword. Her appearence would be silent until she pointed the tip of her sword to Daedelus's back.
[Flashback Done! Now to the present.]
"Now..." The gentle voice purred. "Leave him be, ne? Move your sword and I won't have to spill any blood."
The winged girl peeked over Daedelus's shoulder until she was able to see Lucas. Her nature instantly changed from one of a darker nature to a lighter one. Even some light returned to the ebony eyes and she even smiled warmly.
"Hello again Lucas. Are you all right?"

Ah that sweet voice. It could be no other then Amber Ramius. Daedelus thought to himseld with a smile.
" I am sorry I ment no harm to this boy, I was just being cautios since he was spying on two of my friends. I did not know if he intended to hurt stella or Azure. You might want to step back amber I would hate to accidently cut you with my sword while I am putting it away." He then sheathed the sword as quietly as he could.
" It would seem that forutune falls on me tonight, I say this becasue now, I can have a question that I have pondered in my mind for days answered. Where you the one who told Vash Hellsinger that I had hurt you. I have been wondering because I have always viewed you as a friend and did not think you would intentionally cause me harm, and what about me scares you? Just becasue I am a drow it does not mean that we can not be freinds. I hope you can whatever I did to make you hate me so much, and I hope you can forgive my action against this boy, I never meant any harm to him."
Daedelus said quietly so that amber would be the only one who could here him. After that, he leaves the park.

Stella looked over and nodded, her lips curving into a smile. “Yes, I’ve been there for well over a month now. How are you finding it? It took me a little while to adjust.”
“STELLA?!”
Instinctively Stella twisted to see who had called her. This rather awkward action sent the swing spinning. Regardless of her rather precarious position, Stella looked around the park, trying to find the source of the voice. The tone was extremely familiar, though she was not sure exactly who was its owner. A male, certainly. But unless the trees had discovered the gift of speech, there was no one in sight. Confusion stamped across her face, Stella slipped off the seat of the swing.
"Well stella, it seems that we are not alone. Show yourself! We already know you are there, so you might as well come out from where ever you are hiding."
Huh? Stella looked over at Azure, her eyebrows raised in an unspoken question. Why would someone be hiding from them? Without noticing, Stella’s hand travelled to her necklace, her fingers rubbing the familiar curves of the pendent hanging there. Her eyes dulled slightly as they moved from Azure’s face to dart over the surrounding area, her lips slightly parted as her eyes searched.
But there was someone! A hooded figure had seemingly materialized to stand behind one of the lovely bushes Stella had only recently admired on her walk. The shrub came up to his chest, and he appeared to be speaking to someone, though to whom he was speaking to was not clear.
Stella took a half step towards the hooded figure, then stopped and gave a sharp intake of breath as something seemed to fall from the tree overhead. There was a flash of white as whoever it was unfurled wings as white as the follicles on Stella’s own head. The sight of a head of blonde hair finished the picture.
“Amber.” Stella’s mouth formed the words but no sound emerged. It was the girl Jun-Bo had so kindly introduced her to. Despite the fact she had only met Amber once, the sight of a face she knew convinced Stella to investigate. There was the chance someone may be hurt, something Stella could assist with. She turned back to Azure.
“Shall we see what events seem to be unfolding?”
Quickly Stella walked towards the bush that seemed to be somehow in the centre of this new confrontation. The sight of light reflecting off draw steel leeched a little more blue out of Stella’s eyes, but by the time she had reached them, the hooded character had turned and left. Stella turned her concerned face to Amber, the person behind the bush still unseen by her.
“Amber, it is good to see you again. Is everything alright?”

Damn. Lucas thought. He'd been sprung. Though he was hardly surprised by it. Calling out the name of his love wasn't exactly the smartest thing for him to do when hiding, that's for sure. Lucas was about to stand up when he stopped himself. What if she overheard him. It would be awkward, and having awkward feelings between his beloved roommate was something he definitely didn't want.
"Don't move. Do as I say, and you will not be hurt. Get up and put your hands up."
Lucas was so lost in thought that the footsteps of the newcomer were something he missed. Peering back lightly, the young musician spied the sharp end of a sword. His emerald eyes then traveled to his reading glasses. When he made a run for it, would he leave them behind? No, that wasn't an option. The book maybe, but not the glasses. What if they got broken.
"Hello again Lucas. Are you all right?"
Thank god for that voice. He looked back once more, he saw Amber behind Daedelus with a weapon of her own. Even without looking he could pin point her voice to her face, and he knew who she was. A slight smile appeared on his face. The slight fear he felt from the man with the sword slowly drifted away. " I'm alright Amber thank you, it's nice to hear your voice again." He replied.
After Daedelus turned to make his leave, Lucas stood up and rubbed the back of his neck. " That was a little weird." He added, watching the stranger walk away. He just came up, held a sword to Lucas' neck, and then left again as if nothing happened. Though Lucas was rather relieved he was gone, it was strange that he would walk away so quickly. Perhaps he had some kind of history with Amber or something.
Lucas slid his glasses into the pocket of his pants. He saw Stella and froze, but quickly shook the feeling off. If she would have heard him, she would have said something about it, right? A full smile appeared on his face as Lucas reached back and scratched his head for a moment or two. " Stella, what a surprise to see you out here. You look as lovely as ever, I might add." Lucas said.
Probably an inappropriate time to compliment his beautiful roommate but it was part of his nature. All of his attention and focus was on her. The other boy in the area was no where in his mind. A nervous look was on his face now, as he quickly attempted to think of a reason for being back there. He turned slightly and looked to his brilliant excuse for a hiding spot. " I dropped my pencil around there. And I was looking for it, but I didn't find it... I found you. Your better than any pencil though, so it isn't a very big loss." Lucas explained.
Amazing how he was able to turn his story into another compliment about her, even if it was a rather sad excuse for one. Snapping out of his daze, Lucas looked to one stranger, then to Amber, then back at Stella. " So Is this a friend of yours?" He asked, talking about Azure. It was a much better idea to turn the conversation away from him. That was the plan.

Azure then followed stella after she had gotten off the swing that she had been swinging on. Azure then followed her when she started walking towards the bushes. He had his eyes on stella's every move.
Gosh I can't keep my mind on how pretty she is....I wonder if she...no there is no way she could like me, after all, we just met. Eh oh well, I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. He thought to himself.
When they had gotten to the bushes, there was a voice. Azure then assuming it was from the person that was hiding,
listened to their excuse for hiding in the bushes and spying on them instead of talking.
" I dropped my pencil around there. And I was looking for it, but I didn't find it... I found you. Your better than any pencil though, so it isn't a very big loss." Lucas explained.
Aw, he likes Stella too...well that is too bad. When I get her alone, and I have gotten to know her better, I will attempt to earn her affection. Azure thought to himself.
After hearing what the boy had said azure thought again.
That has to be the lamest excuse for hiding in bushes that I have ever heard. Azure thought to himself.
It seemed that the boy was attempting to turn the conversation so that Azure would be the odd one out.
It should be interesting to see what the boy does to change the subject. Azure thought to himself.

"Doubtful, Daedelus. Your apology is to Lucas, not to me." Her voice sweet but could conceal daggers. As long as he had kept to his word, Amber slid the Tai Chi sword back into its sheath.

The girl listened, her head tilted in a curiousity but said nothing until he was finished. Before the winged girl could answer his question(s), Daedelus made his exit. How odd...she did not understand what he had asked of her and had left before she could even answer him! How rude!
"That was a little weird."
"I agree," the nephilim said in a soft voice. Now that Lucas was safe, the spark of anger had been extinguished. How close that came to a dangerous level too; she had almost ran the sword right through Daedelus! Amber had to mentally kick herself to better control her reactions.
“Amber, it is good to see you again. Is everything alright?”
A more charming and familiar voice this time and Amber had turned her attention to it. Had this whole escapade played out in front of Stella and Azure?
"Stella, what a surprise to see you out here. You look as lovely as ever, I might add. I dropped my pencil around there. And I was looking for it, but I didn't find it... I found you. Your better than any pencil though, so it isn't a very big loss."
Poor Lucas seemed rather startled and yet pleased by Stella's presence that it was both cute and rather humorous. Amber, a stark contrast of calm next to Lucas's nervousness, bowed her head as she would to a friend, she was Jun bo's sister after all.
"I've been well Stella. There was a rather odd moment, but it has since transpired."
While Lucas made his attempt of conversation, Amber's midnight eyes were fixed on Azure. A familiar face but...why was the image so fuzzy in her mind? A madness, a breaking point, a night near the alleyways of the Shattered Blessing. Ah! That's right, she remembered this one! He had gotten involved, the nightmares at night told her, and had seen the darker half! Conversely she had seen an uglier side to him: it was a mexican standoff now. If Azure was a smart boy, he would not address that night and by the same token, Amber would keep quiet about his snap-moment.
There was a spark of anger in the nephilim's eyes, but the moment Lucas or Stella would address her, it would vanish immediately. No point in letting the innocents know what thoughts were crossing her mind...

Lucas suddenly seemed to sprout from the bush like some exotic flower. Stella’s eyes widened in surprise, her mouth parting slightly as if to gasp.

The alabaster skin on Stella’s cheeks was suddenly dusted with pink. Mentally Stella was abashed at her reaction; her room mate had kind words for her so often she would have thought herself immune to their effects. Yet apart from the new colour infusing her cheeks, Stella’s face remained calm.
“I too am surprised. This bush has done a splendid job of masking your presence. I had no idea you were here. And thank you,” Stella swallowed discretely, hoping her natural discomfit towards compliments was not showing on her face, “You too look... very well. I am sorry you lost your pencil though.”
The corners of her mouth tugged up into a smile; clearly expressing she did not see the surprise as an unpleasant one. Her hands dropping from her necklace, Stella looked first to Azure, wanting to make sure he did not feel excluded from the convocation, then she turned to the winged girl.
"I've been well Stella. There was a rather odd moment, but it has since transpired."
“I am glad. Who was here just now if I may ask? I saw a figure, but whoever it was seems to have left rather swiftly.”
Even though Stella was satisfied with Lucas’s reason for crouching behind the shrubbery, there was something that was still puzzling her. A small frown slightly puckered the skin between her eyebrows as her features took on a perplexed look. While she was sure Lucas was not lying, his explanation did not factor in the voice she had heard intone her name.
“Lucas, did you… call out to me before? I thought I heard someone cry Stella. Was that you?”
Her voice carried no tones of accusation; she folded her hands before her as smiled again, sure Lucas would have a perfectly reasonable explanation for her.

Looking over at Amber, Lucas gave her a curious look. It would be nice to know the name of the brute with the sword, possibly for a later search. To set things straight and find out why the stranger would do such a ridiculous thing as to hold a sword to the back of someone's neck. There would be no fighting involved of course, anyone who knew Lucas would know that.

Oh crap. Busted. It was time to make a choice. Either use his way of words to lie his way out of the problem, or tell the truth and think of a reason why he would yell that. Then there was always the option of saying it was him and not saying why, or just bending the truth a little bit. " Sorry about that. Yeah it was me, I was just surprised to see you that's all." He replied. That was true, but he was still keeping why he was so surprised, that was all.

Azure then saw The boy that had been hiding behind the bushes turn his head. He was looking at a girl that had white wings, and a sword.....
No, not her! IF she interferes, she will probably tell stella about my mental condition, I simply can't have that, best to take things slow. Azure thought to himself as he saw the boy turn his head towards amber.
" I don't believe we've met. I'm Lucas Reed." He greeted.
Azure shook the extended hand
" It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Azure Zalinus."
Hello my competition, it seems that we will be competing for the affections of the same girl. Azure thought to himself after they had shaken hands, and greeted one another.

Lucas gave her a curious glance, echoing Stella's thoughts. Amber placed a finger to her cheek in thought...

And it would fall to skillfull dodging brought about by Stella's question to Lucas. The nephilim, though it seemed she was ambivalent about the conversation, was quite taken by the rather cute interaction between Lucas and Stella. The blushes and seemingly shy words...all too cute!
(Except...)
"It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Azure Zalinus."
The winged girl directed a harsh glance to Azure again while the two young men introduced themselves. There was reasoning behind her partially concealed hostility. Azure just HAD to mention that horrible night around Shiro in the cafeteria! Openly! Amber had avoided the young man's company for the time being after that. It was bad enough she rarely got to spend time with kindly Shiro, but now he would have questions when they would meet again...what a bother!
Amber made little motion to speak or greet Azure, turning away to stare off in the distance. She remembered this place now...maybe that mysterious cave she and Akai discovered was still there! She would have to let Lucas and Stella know about it later, maybe even invite Akai along to explore it again!

At that, Stella smiled at the sheer sillyness it, brushing a few stray strands of hair out of her eyes. Glad to have an answer to the question she had been wondering about, she watched as the two boys introduced each other.

Was it just her, or was there some slight tension in the air between them? But as soon as the idea presented itself in her mind, Stella dismissed it. What reason could they have to be hostile? They had just met!
She was a little surprised when Amber did not follow suit and give her name, or that Azure did not offer it to her. Were they acquaintances? " And the same to you." Lucas replied. After he and his new 'rival' had shaken hands, he knelt down and retrieved his book from the ground. He certainly wasn't going to leave it just sitting there, that would have been a little strange. He looked to Stella and smiled back at her, before turning his attention to Amber, and wondering lightly why she was looking at Azure in such a way.
“Do you two already know each other?”
Then he remembered, that time in the cafeteria! He didn't catch the conversation between the two, but Amber had accidentally run into Lucas after leaving the table Azure was at, and she didn't seem to happy. He watched her slightly, before glancing at Azure then back at her again. Perhaps there was something bad between them, that might explain a bit. " Are you alright Amber?" Lucas asked, a slight concerned sound in his voice.

Another glare cast by the winged girl, however brief it was before it returned to a blank expression. Azure had already made a mistake: he had lied. If she was assessing the situation correctly (and humans had a way of expressing their underlying motivations), then his mistake would be dire. Lying to Stella, something the winged girl did not approve of.
Amber would look from Stella to Lucas and finally to Azure before she answered truthfully, as she always would.
"On the contrary Azure...we have met before. Once." She tilted her head at the young man, a smile of knowing crossing her face. "It's not polite to lie about such matters, ne?"
Lucky for him, today she lacked the malice of mentioning Azure's...problem. She very well could have especially if it could be percieved to be a danger to Stella (and then Jun would never let her hear the end of it!).
Instead, she would turn away walking off towards a nearby and visible bench beneath a bare tree. Ah, what a comforting spot even if the tree was asleep! She loved trees, climbing them and sitting beneath them as it always reminded her of one day long ago... As she walked away, Amber lifted her hand.
"Excuse me. I'm not feeling well, so I will rest for a while."
That and she could watch them, just to make sure there were no other threats.
