Chris' "Triple E" Tryout Camp (Ravenclaw Tryouts)
The stage had been set. He had scouted Steph's Gryffindor section from far away a day before and couldn't help but be impressed. She was just as determined to win as he was...however, he could say no one was as a hell-bent into winning this final one as he did. A man who's craved for a piece of history for seven long years...and this was his chance to do it, as the Captain.
Throughout the course of the night, Chris had set up different things for the try-outs, including a few moving obstacles situated at the ground, ready to move upwards and around at the command of his wand. He'd also brought along many special "toys" from his stepfather's Quality Quidditch Supplies store to be tested out tonight.
Now...all he needed were his subjects to gather together, and then he'd show them the kind of training he got every summer. They would ache, they would feel pain and tiredness...but as far as he knew...they'd get better, stronger, and he'd make them into a winning team. That, he promised himself.

Tanis walked up the the field. He saw his captain over standing by himself. He walked up to him and spoke, "Hello Captain, I have come to try out for Keeper. I believe that you remeber me from the opening feast. What would you like me to do?" He stood there with a smile on and his broom in hand. He was wearing his home quidditch uniform. It looked much like the schools quidditch uniform but showed no house colors.

"Knew you'd be the first one here," he said, chuckling as he pointed out all the things he'd set up. "I'm waiting on the rest of everyone to get here actually...then after a short speech, I'll get started on all the trainings. I gotcha something special though, that you're probably gonna enjoy doing."

Tanis chuckled to himself when Chris said he knew he would be the first one here. "Well actually, I had camped out here over night waiting for you," he said with a serious face. "Alright so I lied, that was a bad joke. Well I shall wait for the others then." He took a seat on the ground and waited for a while. He then started to do a few stretches to make sure he was limber.

A small red haired Ravenclaw third year arrived at the quidditch field looking a bit nervous. Lexy had always loved quidditch but had not really thought she was good at it. She had practiced over the summer though with her older siblings and now she felt ready to tryout.
"I would like to tryout to be the Ravenclaw seeker," Lexy said to Chris.

From the stands, a quiet fourth year girl looked on with inner remorse. As far as the rest of them were concerned, Gabby Percy was just there to cheer on her housemates, some even her friends. But her cousin Murph would know better... Murph was the only one who had ever played Quidditch with Gabby, after all. The shy Ravenclaw had talent, but was too shy, too reserved, to use it. So she sat in the stands, forcing a smile and waving to her classmates encouragingly, all the while longing for the feel of the wind in her hair, the ground far below her as she rushed around on a broomstick.

"Is this everyone?" he asked himself quietly, definitely about to throw a fit if he didn't have enough people.
He then smiled, as he noticed Gabby up on the stands, just looking below them. He looked over at Tanis...
"Gimme a minute or so," he said quickly. "Anyone else shows up, ask them to start stretching...we'll get going in a few more minutes."
Without time to hear a reply, Chris mounted his broom quickly and then proceeded to dart upwards towards the stands, stopping a few feet above Gabriella. "Hey Gabby..." he said, in a friendly manner. "You're here to watch only?"

"Oh, yeah," Gabby said awkwardly. She avoided making direct eye contact with CHris, because she was afraid it would cause her to do something stupid, like try out.
"Quidditch was never really my thing... that's what my cousin is for," Gabby added quietly.

Melody walked onto the field feeling the familiarity of the quidditch field. She had been the reverse the year before, but she wanted to actually play this year. Seeing Chris fly up to the stands to talk to a girl she vaguely remembered as Gabriella, she walked over to the others that were trying out with her broom casually over her shoulder. It was the position for seeker that she wanted, but she also liked to play beater as well, she'd be happy getting either one.
Seeing the others stretching she began to do so as well. She couldn't wait to get up into the air and start to fly.

OCC- Alright, I am going to be out of town untill the 27th. Please remember that Tanis want's to be keeper, and co-captain if you need one? Sorry I can't be here for try-outs.

((blah, you silly goose, they're the unspoken rules of the quidditch greats... the graduating captain chooses the new captain/captains and its always the oldest on the team so that pretty much everyone gets a chance... and they're basically always returning starters, too))

"Yeah, I spoke to Murph about that too, after the opening feast," Chris replied, wondering why would one put themselves down to this point. Specially when he heard how good she was, according to her cousin. "And she said you did well...now look, I'm not saying that you need to tryout, but consider it this way. If anything, I would just love it if you gave it a try. That's all..."
"But if you don't want to, I guess you can watch," he said, closing his eyes and looking back towards the field, seeing Melody arriving. "I gotta go back now...but if you change your mind, come to the Pitch."
With that, he then flew back towards the others, waving towards Melody, before landing on the ground. "Alright then...just another minute and I'll get us off..."
"WAIT," shouted another voice running in from the Grounds, this one belonging to Shun Raymer, a green-haired kid who was running right besides his older brother, Ikki Raymer. "Chris...are there still Beater spots available?"
"...you read the reports," Chris replied with a sly grin in face, as he took another look towards the stands, where Gabby still was. He sighed. "Very well..."
