Work has been busy and my home computer needs a new power supply. I should be back up tonight or tomorrow at the latest but wantred to drop y'all a note to explain my less frequent posting in the last week.

Don't settle for the El Cheapo Grande brand power supply. It's the heart of your system, so it's worth spending a few bucks on.

Another thing you have to watch for, Im sure you know but just wanted to throw it out there just in case, is that the power supply that you plan on buying is compatible with your motherboard. Make sure that the connections match the connections to your motherboard.

The new one is compatible - bigger in fact (500W). It is also VERY quiet. I can't believe the difference! I am lovin it, especially as I like to listen to tunes on the PC and the white noise was annoying.
