Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Condemned? (open)
The wind howled threateningly through the darkness, as if daring all to come out and brave its chill. A cresent moon hid partially behind dark clouds, shedding only a miniscule amount of light over the earth below it. The heavily clouded sky suggested a rainstorm was just about ready to break. Scattered droplets fell at high intervals, as if the clouds were slowly losing control over the water they held. Kaylee gazed out the cab window silently, looking but not seeing. Her thoughts were elsewhere.
To say the least, she wasn't excited about the school. She had her powers - she didn't care about advancing them. Maybe some would say that was a waste, but to her it didn't matter. As they pulled up to the school and she got her first glimpse of the grounds, she wanted to demand the driver turn back. It was impossible to see much through the darkness, but the feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach, that pain in the back of her head, told her all she needed to know.
"I don't want to be here," she muttered angrily, clenching her fists around her single suitcase.
"Miss?" The cab driver was staring at her. He had stopped. He wanted his money...Everyone just wanted their money.
Wordlessly, she handed him a couple of bills and quickly stepped out of the car, pulling out a backpack, and two large suitcases. As soon as she had everything out, the cab driver drove off. Turning back to the school, her suitcases dropped and forgotten at her feet, she let her eyes wander. It was difficult to see in the dark, but her opinion remained negative nonetheless.
Glancing down at her heavy bags, she sighed. "How am I supposed to carry all this?"
In response, the clouds released their burden - the rain went from scarce droplets to a full torrent of pouring water within seconds. She was soaked almost instantly.
"Aww, shit!" She cursed, shivering as the water drenched right through her jeans and black hooded sweatshirt. With an exasperated sigh, she grapped a suitcase in each hand, her bag slung over her back, and slowly started lugging everything towards the school. It seemed a long way off.
Lucian stepped outside of the darkness his feet parted the puddle of water enough his feet. His black hair sticking to his forehead. A soft sigh escaped his lips, he had his blue rain-coat on there was two slits in the back of it and a couple of white feathers sticking to it.. His eyes caught a faint outline of what looked to be a person in the distance walking. It was hard to tell in this hellish weather, and with this school you never knew if it was beast or man, in some cases it was both. A glance up to the rain tapping at his umbrella gently.
Suddenly, breaking from it's rhytemic tapping the rain droplets started to pound relentlessly into his umbrella. It was still quite a mystery why he was out at this time of night? A quiet moonlight stroll was out of the question with this type of weather. Lucian took a brief moment stopping to watch the rain hit the ground splashing it's form into nonexistence, before settling on the surface. What was it about rain?
A shake of his head breaking from his train of thought. The rain above her had seemingly stopped, If she would look up she would see a black umbrella above her head blocking it's path . His voice soft and solem as he said, "Hey, I figured you could use a little help. Just, because the sky is crying doesn't mean well have to get wet."
This student had a gentle warm smile on his lips. It was obivous he was a kind person. His eyes flickered for a moment when they darted down to her luggage, then back up to her face. A tilt of his head out of curiousity. "Are you a new student here? I happen to be semi-new here myself. My name is Lucian Wilheard I'm a freshman and you?"

Kaylee bit her lip as she trudged through the rain, fighting to stay calm. Her entire being wanted to scream in misery, to scream that she didn't want to be there. Her mind told her it was a sign - the pouring rain - that she wasn't supposed to be there. Why the hell else would the world be giving her such a hard time? In all truth, she was more than willing to call back a cab and head back home. But she knew she couldn't.
For a moment, she didn't notice that the rain had stopped. It had soaked her so fully that the sudden reprieve didn't register right away. All of a sudden it clicked in her mind - that sound of water hitting stretched fabric, the lack of new cold hitting her. She looked to the side just as the boy spoke, staring at him as if he was an apparition. In a way, he was.
She was so surprised by his sudden appearance, and so grateful to be out of the rain, even though she was already soaked...that she remained entirely civil in her response.
"I'm new," she said simply, trying to gather her wits. She hadn't expected to have to deal with somebody upon arriving on such a night.
"Do you have a name? I can't call you new-girl it's sort of degrating. I guess I was a little late your soaked. The school is a little out there I won't be the last character you meet here," he said with a rare sincerity in his voice could it be possible chivaraly wasn't dead?
He looked back to her with a kind look in his eyes, then up to the umbrella. There was always the chance of them being hit by lighting, but the thought of that was far from his mind. Noticing she was kind of surpised to see anybody out in this weather always sort of having, that effect on people. Maybe, he should of taken up a career as a ninja except he didn't seem capable of harming a fly.
Switching the umbrella to his left hand, reaching out with his right hand. "Excuse me, can I have help you with one of your bags? You seem like your already having a rough first day," His hand accidently touched yours, then retracted. "Sorry I get a little hasty at times. They have lots of thing to do on campus. The hotsprings are relaxing I suggest bringing a bathing suit to avoid any akward moments. Watch-out some people go in naked," he said shaking his head.
Re: Condemned? (open)
As the two were talking a small shadow would loom in the distance, heading across the school gates and then quickly dashing behind a bush. The shadow would loom outwards again and slowly crisscross its way across the school grounds, always hiding behind a new object and always getting ever so closer with each passing moment. Yakoutio slowly raised upwards behind the two students from his crouched position on the ground, between them and looking from side to side to try and see who they were, people he hadn’t met. He was weary of people he hadn’t met but it didn’t matter as all he really had wanted to do was get out of the rain without having to go back inside the school, he giggled a bit and wondered how long exactly it would take them to figure out he was there. The boy’s hair was sopping wet and stuck down in front of his face and eyes so that only his mouth could be seen, though he could see them both clearly, he was also smiling evilly as he thought of a funny trick to play on the two.
“!!!BOOM!!!!” Yakoutio yelped at the top of his lungs, imitating a lighting strike. He would suddenly fade from sight and appear in front of the two, the rain parted and whipped around in the air, as he appeared where it was falling in a sudden blur of movement.
“Heya are you a new student there are a lot of new students around at this school lately I’m Yakoutio what’s your name hey you’re also quite new but I think I’ve heard of you before what’s your name guy I’m as I told this new student Yakoutio have you ever heard of me before well the rumours aren’t true.”
Yakoutio tilted his head down and took a deep breath to try and catch his breath after speaking at super speeds and using up way too much air. With a flash of light a real lightning strike would crash through the air causing a loud boom from the thunder afterwards. Yakoutio’s eyes would widen as he quickly hopped close into Lucian and shuddered.

Kaylee stared at him blankly as he went on about...whatever. Honestly, she was hardly listening, still somewhat shocked at the fact that he was outside in the first place. Hell, if she'd arrived earlier, no way would she be out in the rain willingly. As he went on about some sort of hot springs, she quickly cut in to avoid having him talk any longer. "Kaylee," she said, "My name's Kaylee."
It seemed that she needn't have bothered cutting him off, as a moment later a loud yell echoed behind him. This was followed by...Kaylee stared, squinting, not believing...yet another apparition. Before she had a chance to even fully comprehend what had happened, the boy was talking. A lot. Very quickly. Not a moment after he finished, lightning struck, and the boy leapt beneath the now somewhat crowded umbrella.
Kaylee was speechless. She'd been at the school for less than 10 minutes. How much would happen in a full day?

Not startled by the sound of thunder used to it, but more startled by the introduction of Yakoutio. Who had taken up the suddenly disappearing space underneath Lucian's umbrella. He hadn't heard of any rumors of this fellow they might of crossed paths at one point or another, but couldn't for the life of him remember where. His expression kind of held a vague feeling of who is this? He said in a soft trying to be friendly tone of voice, "What rumors? I haven't heard of any rumors about you. You do seem familiar in a way. Nice to meet you... My name's Lucian."
"My name's Kaylee."
"It's nice to meet you to Kaylee. My name's Lucian by the way if you didn't hear me the first time. I would shake both your hands, but I'm holding a umbrella. By the way forgive my rambling it's a habit," he said scratching the back of his head.
Stumbling backwards when Yakoutio jumped into his body. The water on the umbrella swishing over the edges hitting the ground with a small splash. He stepped to the side to avoid Yakoutio resuming the position of keeping them from getting anymore wet. A tilt of his head with a sigh. The thing about being nice was the simple fact, if you held a umbrella everybody wants under it, and if you hold open a door there is the chance everybody might want to go through it.
“I don’t like lightning.”
"Why are you out in the middle of the storm?" he said with a puzzled look.
Re: Condemned? (open)
Yakoutio looked up at Lucian and tilted his head, that was a silly question, what else could he have been doing outside in a storm? In fact, what had he been doing outside in a storm? Yakoutio would giggle shyly before stepping more underneath the umbrella, holding onto the older boys shirt for support.
“I like playing outside.” He replied, “I didn’t realise it was raining until the first lightning struck so I ran back.”
He held his head down for a second though it would snap up at the noise of another flash of lightning followed by an even louder crash of thunder. Yakoutio’s head snapped up, his teeth bit down hard and his eyes watered, he really didn’t like lightning. He would stumble back a bit, accidentally tripping over backwards and grabbing something for support, this unfortunately was the umbrella and as soon as he grabbed it the brolly was sent down with him, exposing the two to the rain once again. He would jump in shock and all of a sudden be standing upwards, as if he didn’t even stand up at all, he pushed the umbrella back into place in the boy’s hands and with that they were protected from the rain once again.
Re: Condemned? (open)
Kaylee nodded to Lucian as he introduced himself for the second time. Her attention was more focused on the other boy; something about him was just so amusing. He seemed like a cartoon version of the average child - his speed of movement and voice was incredibly overexaggerated. Some moments when he moved, she could not have been sure if she'd actually seen it or it had been a trick of the lightning playing on her eyes.
Then all of a sudden, for just a moment, she felt rain hit her yet again. She yelped in surprise, turning her head to see what the hell had happened to the umbrella. Before she could say anything, before her mind even had time to fully register what had happened...it had unhappened. The umbrella was held by Lucian, as normal. It covered them both, again.
"Personally, I'd like to go inside. I want my clothes dry when I start unpacking them," she said loudly, trying to lift up her suitcases as she looked in the direction of the school. Honestly, these people were crazy. They were standing in a damn lightning storm having a freakin tea party...without tea, of course.
Re: Condemned? (open) "Personally, I'd like to go inside. I want my clothes dry when I start unpacking them,"
Lucian's attention snapped back to Kaylee. There wasn't much more to go to the school. Scratching the back of his head the rain-coat shifted a couple of rain drops had hit on the head. Taking his time to walk towards the school. "We'll be in there in a minute if somebody doesn't stop messing with my umbrella," he said not pointing any fingers just sort of hinting to Yakoutio.
If he didn't like lighting he shouldn't be in the middle of a severe storm he thought to himself. He had tried to point out in the beginning, but nobody heads advice anymore. They was nearing the school. Lucian had taken the umbrella down to open the door for them. "You probably should see where you'll be living. You'll be alright just leave your assumptations of normal at the door.

Yakoutio nodded and hopped inside of the door and shook his body around, he was soaking wet and even more so very cold. He began to shiver and his teeth chattered before eventually he sneezed, he put his hand in front of his face and gasped before sneezing again. He sniffed and then sneezed once more, feeling a little bit tired and cold after this he walked backwards into a wall and sunk down its surface, sitting on the floor and shivering where he was.
“Yakoutio cold.” He said sadly, “I wish I had a dorm room to warm up in…”
