Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Contemplation (dead because my RP partner won't post)
It was very chilly out today. Gray clouds hid the sun from view, forming a large overcast, and a slight breeze blew threw the garden, causing the orangish-yellow leaves on the ground to scatter and be pushed along the ground while a select few were lifted up by the wind and carried elsewhere. It looked as if it might rain any minute, but the cold droplets of water never came, and probably wouldn't until quite sometime later, considering the clouds didn't decide it wasn't their day to rain and cleared up. There were no birds out today, which seemed to take away from the peaceful tranquility of the garden; she had grown so accustomed to hearing them sing and talk with one another that it struck her as odd to find none there.
Hitomi sat under a rather large tree where the birds would usually socialize or the occasional butterfly would pay her a visit and land on the tip of her nose before flying away to do other things. The tree was only a little ways away from the center of the garden and wasn't visited often, making it an ideal spot for her to sit and do whatever it was she felt like, whether it be drawing, thinking, or simply spacing out and letting her imagination take her away until something unexpected happened and brought her back down to Earth. At the present moment, she was reading a book she had checked out from the library called "Lullaby..." and had an old looking picture of a family on the front.
Hitomi didn't wear her usual attire; it was much too chilly outside. Instead, she wore a dark blue long sleeved shirt, a long black ruffle skirt that reached her ankles, and her usual loose white socks and brown shoes. The words 'Love is a light that illuminates the shadows of the heart' were embroidered across the front of the shirt in Japanese.
Sapphire optics scanned the pages as she read and her right thumb pressed against the side of the page to keep the playful breeze from blowing the pages about and making her lose her place... again. Her soft honey-brown hair flowed gently and gracefully in the breeze and, by some odd chance, fell back into its exact position it had rested in before the wind came, only to be blown away once more by another breeze. Her petite, slender figure seemed to meld with the peacefulness the garden held at the moment; so much so, that she left her sitting position and layed on her side as she continued reading.

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)
Hitomi was alone, minding her own business, reading a book by herself. Or so she thought. Actually, there was another student nearby - much closer than she would have thought. Though today was quite chilly and overcast, Knives still preferred being outside to being indoors, provided he had something to do. And he had found something today. Though the others he had been playing football with earlier had gone away, Knives remained, finding a seat in the tree Hitomi was currently under.
He was positioned upon one of the sturdier branches, near the center of the tree. One leg dangled to the side of the branch, and his back had found a way to comfortably rest against the trunk. It had been a while since the dog boy had come up there, and by now he had fallen asleep, his head fallen forward and eyes shut. If Hitomi listened closely, she would be able to hear the snoring that came from the dog boy's mouth and nose.
Of course, when one falls asleep, their muscles relax and their body becomes loose. Knives was holding the football from earlier....until this happened to him during his sleep. His arm fell, and his hand loosened, allowing the ball to escape his grip, where it fell, straight towards Hitomi's head.
But, assuming it hit, the young girl wouldn't have much of a chance to ponder on the thought of the football.....for something else came following it soon afterwards. Knives had leaned a little too much to one side, and his weight pulled him off of the branch. Since he was still asleep, there was no way he could try to stop himself; he was plummeting to the ground whether he liked it or not. Of course, this time, the object falling wasn't heading directly for Hitomi - he wouldn't harm her, although in the end (assuming she didn't move), Hitomi would find herself somewhat pinned underneath Knives.
"Wh-what....? Knives's eyes shot open upon the impact, and he began rubbing his chest where he'd collided with the ground. "What happened? Owwwww, why's my chest hurt?!"
((Hopefully this one won't die, huh?))

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)'... Adrianne watched as her father held his hands to his throat, choking and desperately gasping for air. The girl watched helplessly as she watched the life leaving him, never once averting her gaze. Within minutes, her father's lifeless figure fell to the ground, his eyes, although still wide and bloodshot, devoid of any emotion. The young girel, now moving from her place at the table, sat next to her father's body and closed his eyes; All the while, familiar words streamed through her mind:
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes
It was always you that I despised
I don't feel enough for you to cry, oh well
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes
Goodnight
Goodnight
Goodnight...'
Hitomi was completely absorbed in her book; so much so that she didn't hear a light snoring resounding from above her. However, she was snapped back to reality when a football fell from one of the branches and onto her head; needless to say, she wasn't pleased. She immediatly sat up and rubbed her now throbbing head.
"Itai!" she yelped (for lack of a better word). She looked at the football curiously. Where the heck did it come from!? Had it been sitting in the tree and the breeze caused it to fall over? That must be what happened since footballs don't randomly fall from the sky. She looked up just in time to see Knives plummeting from the tree. She didn't have time to move or dodge him; she waited to long to look up. She let out a small yell before going intangible just as Knives landed; however, it only lasted for about two seconds before she became solid again, which stopped her from feeling the impact. However, the same couldn't be said for Knives.
"Wh-what....?
"Knives!?" Hitomi exclaimed.
"What happened? Owwwww, why's my chest hurt?!"
"Y-you fell out of the tree and landed on your chest... and me," she explained, starting push herself out from under him. Although he hadn't landed directly on her, he did manage to pin her (somewhat) under his body since she wasn't able to move in time to get out of the way.
"What were you doing up there?" she asked, looking up into the branches of the tree. Well, I suppose that explains why the birds weren't here today. she thought as she began to stand up. She looked over at the book and frowned; the wind had blown her page away.

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)
Knives blinked and sat up, still atop Hitomi. One of his hands moved to his chest, and he rubbed it a little, frowning to himself. It was still sore, but he was a strong person; he'd fallen from greater heights and gotten up to keep going. This wasn't a big deal....it didn't even hurt as bad anymore, the pain was starting to fade. He let out a sigh, before realizing he was sitting on Hitomi.
His eyes fell upon the girl underneath him, and he immediately scrambled to the side, climbing off of her and sitting on the grass instead. He smiled sheepishly to her, scratching his head. Though he wasn't really embarrassed, he was rather sorry for sitting on her....it must've been uncomfortable for her, considering her was larger. Then, he realized....he must've fallen on her!!
Immediately, he scrambled over to her again, leaning over to sniff her side, and then poke at it very gently. He was trying to see if she'd been hurt....he seemed quite worried about her. His head tilted back, and he gazed up at her face, frowning. "You okay...?"
"What were you doing up there?"
He blinked, and looked up, thinking for a moment. Then, it came back to him, and he grinned to her. "Just takin' a nap. Not much else to do right now." He shrugged. "What about you?"

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)
Hitomi felt Knives get off of her and slowly started to sit up. Since she didn't feel Knives fall on her, due to her power of intangibility kicking in at the last moment, she wasn't in any real pain. If anything, she was just a little bit sore from having Knives sit on her. She brushed fragments of grass, a few leaves, and an ant from her sweater and looked back at Knives. She couldn't really tell if he was embarassed or perhaps feeling a little bad for falling on her; he scratched the back of his head, along with giving a rather sheepish looking smile, quite a lot. Hitomi, having finally sat up, leaned to the side and rested the palm of her hand on the ground to support her.
"You okay...?"
"Y-yes, I'm fine," she replied in her usual quiet, polite voice. She flinched slightly when Knives poked at her side, but not because she was hurt; it just tickled a little. She sat up straight and looked at Knives.
"Just takin' a nap. Not much else to do right now. ... What about you?"
"I was just reading a book I checked out from the library. I felt like getting out of my dorm for a little while," she replied, now looking at the book on the ground. She picked it up and dusted some of the dirt off it; she have to remember what page she left off on before she got 'side tracked'.

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)
She said she was fine, and he nodded, grinning. As long as she wasn't hurt, he had nothing to worry about. So, he sat back on the grass, cross-legged, with his hands on his ankles; it looked similar to a seated dog, though quite obviously still a normal human position. His eyes found her face instead of her side, and he grinned to her, continuing with the conversation.
"A book, huh? Sounds exciting!" He smiled, as he turned his face to let his eyes fall on the book. It was still open, though the wind had blown the pages, and he couldn't see what it was. So, without thinking, he scrambled over to it, kneeling on his hands on knees over over her in the process, as he lifted it up with one hand. He turned it over, back and forth, as his eyes wandered over the cover. It was a title he'd not heard of before; which wasn't surprising, since most of the books he'd read were either something popular fantasy-ish, or something that was required by classes.
He looked back up at her, still kneeling over her, tilting his head to the side in a curious manner. "I've never seen this one before. What's it about? Is it any good?"

Re: Contemplation (open to all!)"A book, huh? Sounds exciting!"
"I suppose you could say that," Hitomi muttered, looking over at the book. It probably wasn't anything Knives would find interesting; it was actually somewhat depressing and possibly rather morbid. But at the same time, it was suspenseful and bone-chilling.
Hitomi leaned back a bit when Knives kneled over her to look at the book and blushed slightly; it felt rather awkward having him kneeling over her like this. She slowly began to scoot out from under him, but stopped when he looked back at her.
"I've never seen this one before. What's it about? Is it any good?"
"It's mostly about a young girl named Adrianne that can predict people's deaths in her dreams, in a sense; it's rather complicated to explain exactly what it's about," she replied. "It's a good book, but I'm not sure it's something you would like."
A rather strong wind picked up, sending leaves and dust flying through the air. Hitomi shielded her eyes with her right sleeve to prevent dust from getting in her eyes. Her long hair flowed rapidly in the wind for only a brief moment as the wind died down. It was starting to get a bit windier and the overcast got heavier, but it probably wouldn't rain. Not yet, anyways.
