We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Appearance: This character wears black clothes: These include robes (top and bottom), hood, cloak, gloves, and boots. He has blood red hair that goes all the way down to his shoulders, white eyes with blood red pupils, gray skin, he is and average height at 6’5, a scar on his left arm that goes all down his arm. He got the scar during a sword training accident with his friend Anubis. The friend did this by accidentally cutting his arm and moving on the way down. Anubis is still very sorry and apologizes to Daedelus every day about the incident from their childhood. He wears some sort of cover over that scar no matter what. He has a dragon long-sword that he always carries with him, and it can be worn on his back by a sheath, or by his belts on either his left, or right side. The sword is very light and is his favorite possession. Also, there is some writing on the blade. Ok now, detail on the sword. The sword is long and has a Golden color to it as he killed a Gold Dragon to craft it. the hilt has gems placed in it. The gems are diamonds. The blade of the sword is curved and the end is pointed, and VERY sharp. the only power that the sword has is being lighter then usual and being more useful to the wielder, and as I said it is a simble of Honor and a token of the past that is used for combat, and to show skill.
Personality: Kind and outgoing, is very friendly and usually has no problem making friends where ever he goes. He likes girls, but does not get into relationships with them often. When he gets into a relationship with a girl he looks at the heart, beliefs, and morals. He looks little at the outside. It is because of this that his friends make fun of him, but that is a sacrifice that he is willing to stay morally strait. He likes to read comic books, and is commonly seen with one either in his hands, or his book-bag. He likes to hang out by himself in a quiet place, like the rooftops of buildings so that he can think and so that he can quietly read the newest edition of his favorite comic book series. If he is not doing this then he can usually be found in the schools garden or any other place that he and his friends choose to hang out. He likes to help people and can be seen helping people out in various things that they require assistance in throughout the school. If anyone needs help he also has no problem at all with helping them with their homework, or helping them through a hard time in their life. He is funny and tells jokes a lot even though others may not find them to be as funny as he does. If he is not doing any of the above, then he can be found in either his dorm, or the school library working on his schoolwork. There is one downside to him though. Because of him being a Drow, he dresses the way that he does to cover up his appearance. If you were to see him and looked under his hood as far as you could, then you would see two red, glowing eyes. He also has many pointed sharp teeth. The clothes cover up his appearance because he failed to morph into human form. So he still looks like a Drow, but his body is now scared up in many places. That is why he has his clothes the way that they are. Also if he is depressed then he holes himself up in his dorm and refuses to see anyone except his closest friends. As A Passtime he continuse his slaying when not doing said things above.
Special Power: The power to be good at stealing. This power is known as “Master thief”. The wielder has a 10 percent chance to steal whatever it targets. This ability gets better per upgrade. This ability is an upgrade to speed and cunning. Basically it means that he can distract his opponent and be quick at stealing whatever he was trying to steal. The ability can only be active for an hour of the day. He then must wait for another hour to recharge, before he can use it again.
He has a Gold Dragon Longsword, it has gems embedded in the hilt.(everything about it is listed above.).
History: Daedelus comes from a place called the dark lands. This is where he grew up, got bored and decided to leave into the outside world. The Dark lands are a place where all Drow can live separated from the world. This is also the place that he both got his scar and where his friend Anubis stays to this day. Daedelus would have too had it not been that there was a school that appealed to his interest, and as seeing that he did not fit in with the other Drow that well, his own kind strongly pushed him to go. He stood out so much that they even payed his fee to get to Manga high school! He is also at Manga Highschool because he got cast out of his home. He got cast out of his home because of what was listed above, and for the fact unlike the other drow, he is not cruel to everyone. He loves getting to know others and will try his best to do so. He also is well known for being adept at slaying. His sword is a token that shows that. The reason that it holds such importance to him is that it is made from remains of his last kill. This kill was a gold dragon, so the sword is crafted from those remains. He keeps it to remember his brilliant skill at swordsmanship. He practices for 4 hours each day. The writing on the blade can be seen by only him and it is the names of his parents, friends, and master. The names of the people that he was forced to leave behind. So as you can see. Before he was cast out Anubis tried to stop this from happening but it did not matter what he said or did. The Drow council would not permit Daedelus to stay. But in reality, it was because of his attempts as morphing into the form of a human as a way to blend in with them if needed. Humans are looked down on by all drow. But Daedelus is different. (reasons why listed above.)

A day in the life of Tri-Edge.
It had been a long fight, but I have my opponent on his last 500 points, I know how I can end this I thought as I grinned evilly, and with that I did. Then concluding my thoughts I screamed DATA-DRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I hit my opponent with one of my most powerful attacks. Then seeing as I had defeated my opponent, I just stood there and listened to him/her dying scream as he/she de-materialized and vanished, I never knew what happened to them, I just knew that my opponent never showed his/her face in my world again. My previous kill has been my 40th Pkk today. I looked where my opponent was standing, on the ground there was a pile of items, useless things really, but I enjoy taking something as a trophy for each of my kills.
I sift through the items, a rune claymore( A BIG sword with many ancient symbols on it.) , a spirit ocarina(a teleporting item), a pair of swift boots, an item that increases the players agility by 90 points, mythril plate, a blue armored shell that offers a boost of 50 defense points to the player, adamantine leg-plates, green colored leg protection that offers a boost of 70 points to the player, a pair of white gloves , a pair of white boots, a amulet of attack, and last but not least a guild symbol with the symbol of the league “Twilight Brigade” on it. I took the rune claymore, the spirit ocarina, the pair of swift boots, and the mythril plate.
Then I looked through everything left on the ground, a symbol of the twilight brigade, and a few other useless items. Wait! The twilight brigade? I thought what do they want me for? Well, they could only be after me if they are searching for the key to the twilight. That could only be……THE TWILIGHT BRACELET! They mean that yellow thing that I found in some ruins? What would they want with that? Then that means that I have both the key of the twilight and the key of eclipse with me! WOW if that is what they are after then I must not let them get that, because in that they may have a chance of defeating me! This area is no longer secluded now thanks to that punk that I PKKed , the tracking device in his symbol has probably gone off by now! I have a plan as to how to deal with this problem but first I must leave here! And with that I concluded my thoughts, lifted my eclipse bracelet in the air, and then gate-hacked out of the area.

First off. Seperate your powers with paragraphs please. It makes them easier to read. It didn't say to do that in the rules and I've been meaning to fix that, so it won't be held against you. But from here on out. Seperate powers with Paragraphs.
Now on to my usual adminny gripes ^_^
Powers:
Okay, your first sentance is gonna kill your power being accepted right off the bat. No catch all words. Saying you have the power to steal anything is not gonna fly. Even if your power ultimately can't do that at this instance. Having said it in the description it assumes that you are being able to. You also are going to need more description as to how it works.
The first sentance in your description for your second power goes with the same thing I said before. Aswell, with the description that you do have. It is far to powerful for a beginning power.
Also, What is the caoncealing rate spoken of in the description for "Master of Disguise" It is mentioned only once and not described at all. This means you need to go through and add more detail to your power description.
History:
It needs more. A lot more.

This is hard! you guys are soooooooo strict on everything. especially someone who posed a threat. i described these two but i will again. Oh and one more thing. I even SAID y this power is bad. I even pointed out that it does not work most of the time basically and i also put the rate that it would succeed. And besides, that is nothin. I hae seen begginer powers that made mine pale in comparison to over power level so stop bein cheap. I know that i should not have said that, but i am allowed my opinion. Nothing towards you Merciah. Also It is hard writing the history of a Drow, you should know that! Also with "Master of disguise, the most that it could do at this level is give me full bronze armor! so what is the big deal? and again, I posted the success rate for that as well. but I will type the original write up here so that you can understand just how bad these abilities are when you first start an RPG. But before I do, you know that if you looked those were my ONLY skills, so i have NO way to attack, so i am pretty weak right now. Now, for the write up on these two much time spent techniques that I spent a MONTH working on:
1. "Master Thief": This attack can only be used by Shadow the Legendary thief. This attack can be used by someone if taught to them by shadow, or the learner of this technique. The effect of this technique is this. When trained A LOT the user can steal anything. there is a percentage as to if it will work of not. at beggining level this has a 1% chance of succeding, this percentage goes up per level. This attack can only be used once every 5 turns.
Ups: At at least 5% this attack can steal almost anything that is useful.(e.g. a rope, sword or random item.) at 10 percent(max level) the effect is unstoppable.
Downs: This techniques does not usually go past level 5 do to the unfairness of the technique. This can only go past level 5 if given permission to do so. This attack can only be used once every 5 turns. if the oppponent has high inteligence, then they can cancel out this attack.
2: "Master Of Disguise": This technique is the ability to have to morph the users apperance into anything they want. Once again the same limitations apply to this technique since the oither theif that teaches you this techniqe is Lunpa, broter of shadow.
As for history, could you give me soem pointers as to what i should add or expand onto it?

Okay first off. You are walking on very thin ice. Your edit to your post, making it extremely long for no reason was completely uncalled for.
Secondly, saying you are someone who poses a threat is completely absurd and will simply get you laughed at.
And another thing. I obviously read your character sheet hence my reply. Which includes your power description, which aswell, includes your downsides to your powers. Now with that said you still need to do what I said above.
About what you've seen of other characters. Click here and scroll down and read number five.
For how difficult it is to right the history of something, that doesn't matter. Your history needs more. What you have barel is enough to succeed as a full post. Which is a minimum of four lines. You have your characters entire history in five lines. That makes me wonder if that sample rp post is really yours.
Any information about your power, needs to be in the powers description.
Lastly. Any edits that you have with your character, edit your character sheet, don't just post below what you have. This time I'll reply to what you have posted, but you need to edit your character sheet.
Power: Master Thief
You still need to remove the word 'anything' from the description. Aswell, being this is a free form rog, we don't use turns, so I need you to restate how often your power is available in terms of time. Your percentages don't seem to follow your ability with the skill. It has a 10% success rate, yet it is unstoppable. That doesn't make sense. Next, how are you going to be able to determine if someone has a high intelligence, as we don't use stats here.
Power: Master of Disguise
Needs more detail. A lot more. Each power needs to be described seperately.

If your edit is your power. Please edit your power rather then say at the end of the post what you have edited.
And know I am going to ask, What are Kunai based moves. I need to know as I don't know what it is, and there are probably others as well. So addd that to your power description please.
Also your history still needs more. All that you have in your history is this.
He has a friend Named Anubis
He wsa born in a place called the dark lands
He received a scar growing up
He got bored and moved to the outside world.
He know goes to MHS
In the first 15 years of your life I am sure you did more then five things. If you can't think of more things, just expand into detail on the things you already have.
For example.
Where did your character and Anubis meet. How long have they known each other. Did their parents know each other. What were some rememberable things they did together as friends. How did Anubis feel when he learned a good friend of his was moving to the outside world......
That is just an example for expanding on one of the things in your history, and look how much bigger it could have gotten. Do something similar to each of the specifics that are currently in your characters history, and it can grow to be a great story in itself.
I hope that is helpful to point you in the right direction.

OKay, Your History, much better. I see you added to your appearamce aswell. Looks good. Your power. You finally took out the part that says "The power to steal````ANYTHING```` which is the main part that I was griping about. Thankyou, and it is much better because of that. It would appear that you have only one power now, but...... Your sword, for ne characters items would count towards there beginnning powers. So just add your swords description as your second power. And I am sure that you'll be ready to go in no time. ^_^

OKay, Your sword was supposed to be added under the category for your powers. It's description though is good.
You added one more thing though. The wings, and there giving you the ability to fly. For now you are going to have to wait before you add them. As they would be another power. And new starting characters only get two powers to start with. As time goes on, you will have gained enough posts and time here to have earned an upgrade, and at that time you can add the wings.

For now, leave out the wings. Just add them after they have been approved as an upgraded power. Untill then, just have the sword and the stealing power. It makes things a lot less confusing. If you think you might forget what you want the flying power to be like, a simple hint. Copy everything you have posted, and ezmail it to yourself. That way it is saved in your inbox and you can simply have it for future use.
Also, about the Stella Midnight being your roommate. The dorm rooms are not supposed to be coed rooms. The dorms are coed dorms but not the rooms. The times in which it happened recently, were a mistake and weren't supposed to be that way.
The ones from the past were done when we were still having the rooms be Coed. So chances of having her as a roommate are slim to none.

P.S. Are you sure i can;t have her as a roomate? And if for some reason i can't, is there a way that I can have her as a friend or maybe be in the same dorm? Also merciah, not everyone is immoral in their ways. so if that is what you feared neither of us will do that, just so you know.....nothing personnel. I am fixing the profile now so when you log back on check it again and the changes will be made. also, what do you think of my sword?

About the dorms, yeah you can be friends with whomever you wish. We aren't going to control who or how you roleplay. The only kind of rping that is not permitted is if it is godmodding, or something that would be against the rules.
Other then that. Your character looks good. I can now accept it. Thanks for not giving up, hopefully that means you'll be here for a while.
