For those of you who like Davy as much as I do, when you buy his merchandise, you hate to get taken. I know Davy doesnt have anything to do with the merchandise he sells on line at his web site, but read the letter below as an FYI... To whom it may concern at Davy Jones.net Merchandising- As a fan of Mr. Jones, I regretfully have to make this statement. In the xmas season, I bought a copy of the Real Live Brady Bunch from you and was embarrassed, dissapointed and shocked that this tape is being sold on-line representing Mr. Jones. I was under the impression, as I am sure most fans are, that this was a quality produced tape. Essentially, what is being bought is a video tape of a Real Live BB performance that someone was shooting from the audience with a hand-held home video camera. The video/camera work is horrible and unwatchable and the audio is even worse. It is even more disconcerting to think that Mr. Jones would even condone this item to be sold on line. And if he condones it, it is a real insult to fans. If I bought this off of Ebay, I would have said "oh well, live and learn", but yours is a professional merchandising site reperesenting Mr. Jones. The description does not even say this is an amateur video taping. This is truly shoddy merchandise. I bought this as an Xmas gift for a friend I attended a Real Live BB performance with and we both agreed to turn it off because it was painful to watch. Not only painful to watch, but painful that I spent 22.00 plus postage an handling, which is more than a professionally produces video costs. Gentlemen, now that I have this off my chest, I ask you to be fair to the fans and either put some sort of disclaimer or take the item off period. Of course, this is just a request.
