We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Day after returning to the school.
*Exiting the dorms he looked around the school with a smile. Wondering what things had changed since he left he started walking around the school.
He was dressed in his sleeveless shirt of black silk with wooden bottuns holding it shut. His black slacks made were also made of silk with the rigth leg having red flames sowen into it. He had spent alot of last night cleaning him self up and taking care of the several wounds he had. Most were hiden by the shirt and pants.
As he enter the quad he looked around and smirked as the trees and other palnt's leaves were changing colors lightly. It made him smile to know that the weather had not stopped here. Though he thought it was foolish to think it would.*
"Looks like not too much has changed. I can deal with these easily enough."
*He pulled a tea out of his pocket and opened it taking a sip. He smiled at the flavor of Japanese green tea. It was better then most brewed here. Even if these was bottled.*
Hitomi left her dorm and headed out to the quad. Usually she would have just gone to the garden, but a swarm of bees decided it would be the perfect place to build their hive. Needless to say, Hitomi wouldn't go near there for a while. She'd rather not get stung.
Hitomi wore a sky blue shirt with a black cross imprinted on it that took up the entire left side. She also wore a ruffled, navy blue skirt that reached about two inches above her knees and brown shoes with loose whitish socks. Her sapphire eyes looked upwards at the sky and her honey brown hair was worn its usual specific style: the left side was brushed back while the right and been left down. In her arms was a red sketchbook and a mechanical pencil; she planned on drawing while she relaxed in the quad.
As she entered the quad, she was suprised to see a familiar face. Jun-Bo Tsuen, to be exact. She still remembered the first time she met him when she just barely arrived at MHS. Did he still remember her?
"Hey, Jun!" Hitomi called out to him as she waved, hoping to get his attention.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*Apon hearing his name, his head came up and looked that direction. The drink in his hand was held at the height to be sipped. For a second he looked her over. Was it trying to remember her name or something else could not be told form his faciel expersion. But after a short moment his free hand came up and waved to her.*
"Hitomi. How have you been? It has been a while"
*As he spoke he moved towards her so that way he was not yelling across the quad. He grinned as he approched. This was the second friend he meet since returning and was interested on how this would go.*
"So what have you been doing this whole time? Looks like you stil draw."
Re: Day after returning to the school."Hitomi. How have you been? It has been a while"
"I've been doing okay, I guess," she replied. It was nice seeing Jun again after such a long absence. She was actually a little excited to see him; she would be excited if it were any of er friends that she hadn't seen in a long time. It was so much easier to be herself around people she knew than with people she was seeing for the first time. Speaking of which... "I've met a lot more people since you left."
She still smiled as he approached her. He definately hasn't changed much at all. Or at least it didn't seem that way to her.
"So what have you been doing this whole time? Looks like you stil draw."
"I've been getting out of my dorm a bit more. The school actually had a formal dance a little while before you came back," she informed, a bit pleased with herself. She had attended the dance and, although she didn't actually dance (since she has no idea how), she still had a pretty good time.
"I do still draw every now and then," she added. She hoped to be a cartoonist when she got older.
(I have to go now, so this post was a little rushed. Sorry!)

Re: Day after returning to the school.
(no biggie)
*Nodded towards her pad as if to inquire as to what she has in it. He smirked as she mention the more people she has met*
"I am glad you have been making alot of friends. Got a speical friend yet or still in the air?"
*Chuckles as she talks about the school dance. He would have gone, but doubts he would have danced. Unless asked anyways.*
"So did you show off your moves at the dance? Or just be a social butterfly?"
*He lifted the tea again and took a sip. His injuries acked from streching them some. But nothing too bad for him. Speical since they were all superficshal*
"So how has the school been? Have they started classes yet?"
Re: Day after returning to the school."I am glad you have been making alot of friends. Got a speical friend yet or still in the air?"
"What do you mean by 'special friend'?" she asked a little cluelessly as she blinked and gave him a blank stare. Did he mean a best friend? That was really the only thing that came to mind when he said 'special friend'. Then again, what if he was inquiring whether she had a boyfriend? She couldn't be sure; she was a little clueless about certain things, like relationships.
"So did you show off your moves at the dance? Or just be a social butterfly?"
Hitomi let out a nervous laugh and sheepishly scratched the back of her head. If life were an anime, she would probably have a large sweatdrop going down the side of her head.
"Ano.... I didn't really dance; I don't know how. I did meet a couple of people though," she replied a bit meekly. She still remembered the names of the two boys she met that night: Kaji and Gabriel. She lost contact with them once the dance was over, mostly because she didn't get out much to actually hang out with either of them.
"So how has the school been? Have they started classes yet?"
"Yes, actually," she informed. She wasn't sure of what else she could really say at this point. She answered his question (for the most part) but felt like she could say more.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*Leaning back from her he raised an eyebrow as if she had to ask what he ment.*
"Boy friend of course.."
*he laughed lightly as he coudl tell already that it was most likely a no and she woudl get all fidgety about it. When she said she could not dance he shook his head lightly*
"No good a woman of you bueaty must know how to dance."
*Sigh*
"Gues I will have to teach ya."
*With a wink you could tell he was still trying to give you a hard time. Though you might get the feeling he was being honest at the same time.*
"What classes have you been to and are the teachers nice or strict?"
Re: Day after returning to the school."Boy friend of course.."
"Oh," she replied flatly, now staring at the ground. Hitomi blushed a little from slight embarassment. Now it seemed incredibly obvious what he meant, which made her feel a little slow. She probably didn't need to say she didn't have one; after all, it seemed fairly obvious. Before her thoughts could escalate any further, she pushed them to the back of her mind. The last thing she needed was to get all fidgety about it.
"No good a woman of you bueaty must know how to dance... Gues I will have to teach ya."
Teach me? He's not serious, is he? Hitomi thought as she gave him a nervous stare. Her uneasiness subsided when she saw him wink. She was very much relieved that he was only joking around. Or was he? It was a litle hard to tell, but she assumed he was just trying to give her a hard time. He did tend to joke around a bit.
"What classes have you been to and are the teachers nice or strict?"
"So far I've been to english. If I remember correctly, the teacher said her name was Mai Ada, or something relatively close to that. She's a rather strict teacher," Hitomi replied, starting to drift off to memories of the class. Yeah; Ms. Ada was definately strict. That was for sure.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*He frowned and ruffles his own hair as he thought about the english class. Strict eh? Damn he might have to be serious in class for once. English was not his best subject and yet it seemed to be the one currently going on. There is a slight adubile groan*
"Oh well, I did come here to study, I guess she will make me do that. Though I would prefer a little more fun loving teacher. Ah well. English is not my fortaie anyways."
*His eyes moved down to her drawing book and he raised an eyebrow. With a slight smile he nodded towards it*
Re: Day after returning to the school."Oh well, I did come here to study, I guess she will make me do that. Though I would prefer a little more fun loving teacher. Ah well. English is not my fortaie anyways."
Hitomi, rather than make a verbal reply, simply nodded. She could relate, in a sense. She was pretty okay with english, but she didn't enjoy having a strict teacher either. After being home schooled almost all her life, she was used to having a pretty fun, nice teacher (curtesy of her mother). She figured she probably wouldn't have any real issues with the teacher, since she was a pretty good student and behaved herself. For someone like Jun, however, a strict teacher wasn't a very good combination.
She noticed his eyes move down to her sketchbook; she almost forgot she was still carrying it. She had been standing around chatting with Jun and got distracted from what she originally came to the quad to do.
"Can I see what you have drawen?"
"Um... sure," she replied, handing him the sketchbook. there was quite a bit in it: a few pages of backgrounds, some doodles, and a few kanji symbols and poems. The poems were written in Japanese, since that was her first language. She had a second sketchbook in her dorm which was home to an original manga Hitomi came up with.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*He grinned as he took the book. His eyes glowed as he opened it and started looking over everything. He moved it around so he could see each drawing from different light angles. His smiles was nice and big. He constantly lavished her with complaments on every little things she did right.
That is tell he gets to the poems. His first language was Japanese as well so he just started reading them right away. It could barely be heard that he was speaking the words as he read them. He had a mischivous grin on his face as he read. He loved that he was allowed to do such a thing.
When he closed the book he looked up to her and smiled bowing to her and holding it back out to her.*
"You are very talented and have great penmenship. Why do you not do it for a living?"
Hitomi beamed as she watched Jun look at all the things in her sketchbook. She loved his reactions to the things he observed within it; it gave her a feeling of confidence and happiness to see someone that liked them so much. Her cheeks turned a delicate shade of red as he complimented her on the things she had drawn; he definately knew how to flatter her, although she wasn't quite used to it. As Jun read the poems, she comtemplated whether she should show him her other sketchbook with the manga in it.
"You are very talented and have great penmenship. Why do you not do it for a living?"
"Arigato. I hope to do this for a living once I get older, since I'm still learning. I've always considered being a manga artist as a future career, but I'm still working on a back up career choice in case it doesn't work out," she said as she took her book back.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*He smiled and moved over putting an arm around her shoulders and pointed up into the sky. There was a small blue bird flying up there. He a grin he spoke softly as if not to let a secert be known to others*
"You are like that small blue bird up there. You feel that you are so small and not ready for the world. But then there are people like use that think it is the most bueatful thing in the world."
*Stepping back he grinned. He thought that she might have been uncomfortable so did not stay in touch with her shoulder longer then his spech took*
"You are ready and will make it, if you just have faith in your self."
Re: Day after returning to the school.
Hitomi's eyes slightly widened when she suddenly felt Jun's arm over on her shoulders; it felt strange to her, but at the same time it also felt a bit comforting. She looked up at the sky where Jun was pointing and saw the blue bird fly by. She listened as Jun softly spoke to her.
"You are like that small blue bird up there. You feel that you are so small and not ready for the world. But then there are people like use that think it is the most bueatful thing in the world."
Hitomi nodded, signaling that she understood what he meant. It made her feel a sort of warmth in her heart. Hitomi felt him take his arm back, probably to avoid an awkward moment or to make sure she didn't feel uncomfortable.
"You are ready and will make it, if you just have faith in your self."
"Thank you, Jun," she said softly as she gave him an appreciative, content smile. She could feel her self confidence rise and, for the first time, felt she could get her hopes uo about something. Usually she would never get her hopes up about anything to avoid being disappointed; it was, in a way, a form of protection from... herself.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*Grinning he reached out a single finger and beeped her nose. It was to startle her more then anything. He laughed lightly and stepped back to looked her over.*
"So what besides drawing did you have planed? I was thinking of going to a museum of old wars if your interested."
*Standing calmly he slide his hands down into his pockets like he did often enough. He cocked his head and wait for her reaction to everything.*
"But i will understand if you wish to stay here and draw."
Re: Day after returning to the school.
Hitomi flinched slightly when Jun 'beeped' her nose. It kind of ruined the small moment. That was... odd. Hitomi thought as she gave Jun a blank, sort of curious stare.
"So what besides drawing did you have planed? I was thinking of going to a museum of old wars if your interested."
"Well, aside from drawing, I don't have much else planned," she replied, looking down at her sketchbook and pencil. Although she wanted to draw, the museum sounded just as interesting. She could draw anytime, but venturing outside of campus didn't happen much with her, since she has a small fear of wandering alone. She wasn't sure why she was scared of something so insignificant; all she knew is that she wasn't scared out going out alone until she got her powers.
"But i will understand if you wish to stay here and draw."
"Well, I don't leave campus very often, so I suppose I'll go with you, if you don't mind," she answered, now looking up at him. As long as she was with someone, she felt she was safe.

Re: Day after returning to the school.
*He just gave he a slight smirk when she gave him a curious look. He was not going to tell her way he beeped her nose. He was in an odd mood and just felt like doing something out of the norm. *
“Well then, I guess we have plans made now. I have not been to this museum yet so it ought to be fun. Get to look over the different items, and besides we could always shift our plans if we get bored.”
*Reaching up he brushed his hair back and winced for a second as he pulls on a wound that had not completely healed. He played it off as if nothing had happened. *
“So, is there anything you need to get before we leave?”
