Does Weapon Skill factor into Critical Strike damage?
I was wondering if weapon skill is factored into a critical strike. I know the higher the weapon skill a) the better your chances of hitting and b) the higher your damage threshold is. But does weapon skill work in conjunction with critical strike? If all other factors are equal, is there a difference in damage between a person who critical strikes with their skills at “Swords 50” and “Critical Strike 50” and a person with “Swords 34” and “Critical Strike 50”???

Yes...
Weapon skill determines the damage variance on your CS. CS sets the cap for damage for CS attacks, but higher weapon skill will raise your min. damage lvls so that you are not doing really low hits one attack and really high hits the next. So, it affects your consistency.
