Dual-weilding - which hand is which?
Ouzer asked me something today, and I wasn;t sure of the answer. He is using my defiance (9/19) and a Centi LD (14/29, or something like that). In which hand does the faster weapon go? I said offhand, but am not positive, and figured a warrior would know.

Faster weapon should go in primary hand because of the damage bonus applied to any hits from the primary hand.

As for dual wield firing I'm not absolutely positive but I don't think you'll get many more dual wield checks by putting the slow weapon in primary. I think dual wield checks happen when the weapons synch so this is dependent on the slower weapon regardless of what hand its in.

As a general rule, but the faster weapon in primary hand unless the slower weapon has a much better ratio.

Kapo is right cept for one acception (Rogues) =p . Also when u get up there in the realy nice weapons u will notice that 90% of the time the offhand weapon is faster but wouldnt be as good EI: doesnt have a proc. Also Ouze what you should have told him is what I told everyone when they ask me stuff like that. "Test it out yourself and you decide which you like best"

Bleh. Myself, I would test it out, Ouzer, prefers not to get to much into the mechanics and numbers... he just likes beating on things, and kicking them.

Any gear suggestions? I bought him Cobalt arms and a Glimmering mith torque today for the bargain price of 5k.

Ouzer's Twinked out gear

Yes, I know, he has no resist gear. He has not raided very often, and as far as I know, has never been MA on any raid, so it has not been important - yet.

How do you make magelo profiles? I've wanted to make one for a while now. Been to magelo.com and just get a bunch of info about web programming. :p

Thishas info on making a Magelo profile.

Ok, I have another dual-wield question (I have no idea about the mechanics of it, since I never get it). Can Ouzer quad attack?

I understand basically jack shit about melee but as far a quading goes... duel wield + double attack = quading. Two hits with each weapon :) or 4 hits in one "round" thus a quad.

nothing like the sickly sound of a mob squeling as you attack and double with primary and offhand and a kick 300 damage in next to no time.
Makes me smile almost as much as Fiegning Death in double didgit hps.
