Demosthenes Maelstrom Ubah Nukage! Posts: 601 (11/5/04 6:04 pm) Reply	EQ2 Release In less than a few days EQ2 will be released. I hope to join back up with some fellow OoD members in this new world if you will be playing it. I have beta tested it for about 2 months now, alot of changes have happened, and stability seems hugely improved. I will post what server I am on and hope to get a guild going of some fine caliber players. I am interested in knowing who will try it out since with some information I can provide, it can make the game a bit less daunting in the beginning. So, post here please if you are going to join in the Release of EQ2 (.... this is in NO way eqLive, so if you love EQlive... I dont know if you will enjoy the game so much).

SoE has alot of people that hate them... most compare EQ2 to EQ1 when it is totally different (cept the lore and some items... Mask of the Deciever mmkaythx). Serious gamers and people that have taken a unbiased look at the game usually come across with a great review. If you have a decent PC you will love the graphics, be emersed into the lore, jump out of your seat with NPCs scaring the crap out of you, and forge your new world of friends. Since I havent been able to play Kitzi the past few months, i've decided to retire her forever. I was able to get in on Beta for EQ2 the past couple of weeks. And I love it I am totally addicted. I hope to keep in touch by emails/msg or hopefully in the new game. Have missed you guys and Im glad to see OoD still kickin'. Will pop in here and there to say hi and all that mess

There is a big patch tonight finishing off most of the missing items in the game. As for EQ2, beyond the fact that I have no desire to play anymore SoE games, even Planetside is a mess right now, I would wait and see how release goes. If it's anything compared to how SWG was released many people may be turned off. If I was actually interested it would scare me that they not only did not have open beta and they also pushed the release date forward. And if EQ2 happens to bomb come join us in WoW.

GameStop is saying that "Sony screwed up the shipping on CD-ROM versions" and a couple of asshats that I've talked to implied that it's my own dumb fault for being to0 \|_4\|\/\|3 to have a DVD-ROM. anyway, still don't have it, supposed to be in today, but that's what they told me yesterday...
