Early Morning Training. (Open)
As the sun slowly rose over the horizon Issac had already made his way down to the Gym for his morning training. He change into a gray pair of loose of track pants but left his upper body bare. While the scaring the criss cross his upper body might make other uncomfortable he was reasonably sure no one else would show. The other students didn't look like early risers. He found himself a comfortable spot along the east wall of the gym and began his stretches.

He thought back to when he first started to train in the morning. It had been after Lora had become old enough for the scientists to start testing. That had meant that there were now 5 of the prototypes doing their physical training in the small gym at once. It had been to loud for Issac, to crowded and the ozone smell that Gray's powers left was starting to turn Issac's stomach. So he began wake up earlier and train in the gym before he ate his breakfast. Since then it had become such a part of his life that he felt slow and tired is he didn't do it.

After he was done stretching he walked over the big punching bag. He started slowly with easy punches that slowly grew harder and faster. After a short while he was working on something new. He was trying to release a small blast of deep bass just as he made contact with the bag. It had been something he had been working on before he had been decommissioned. The sounds of his training and of his breathing were the only thing that filled the gym.

Re: Early Morning Training. (Open)
"I hate mornings..." Knives grumbled to himself as he walked down the hall towards the gym. "I hate not being able to sleep....stupid place, I want a bed..." A big sigh escaped his mouth, the only sound in the lonely, deserted hall aside from his complaining. Being so early, no one was around; and this student wouldn't be, either, if he could help it. Unfortunately, the office had been unable to place him in a dorm room that first day, and the new student was once again forced to sleep outside - something he found very difficult the second night, since it rained. Even though he'd found a tree to hide from the rain under, he was still soaking wet. His longish brown hair, which usually fell to his eyebrows in the front and where his ears should be on the sides, was usually curly. Right now, it was not; rather, it hung limp, and even clung to his forehead and cheeks from the wetness. Also, his clothes - a simple pair of navy blue shorts and a white shirt with the sleeves cut off - were wet, and were also clinging to his body.

Since he couldn't sleep, he decided to find something else to do. And, without television or a computer or something, he was left with the option of working out in the gym. Even though he was tired. And cranky.

The door swung open easily when Knives pushed it, and he was happy that at least the gym was open - "Good thing something went right tonight...". So the student stepped into the room, and shook, just like a wet dog. As he shook, droplets of water flew everywhere; afterwards, he was somewhat less wet, though it really wasn't worth the effort. And Knives knew that, it was just an instinctive move. So, after rubbing his eyes as if that would make him less tired, He moved towards the treadmill to start his workout.

But something caught his attention. The sounds of fists hitting a punching bag. With each impact, one of the German Sheppard ears atop the dog boy's head would twitch. This caused him to change his direction, turning towards the opposite corner of the room. As he turned his head, his blue eyes fell upon another student, who was training there. Knives laughed a little. "So, you couldn't sleep either?" He scratched the back of his head. "Sucks, huh?"

"So, you couldn't sleep either? Sucks, huh?"

Issac caught the bag and stopped it's swinging before turning around. There was a boy there that looked to be roughly the same age and had....dog.....ears? He shock his head once hoping to clear his head the this obvious illusion but the ears were still there. So Issac simply shrugged his shoulders and nodded to the boy.

"Not really. I actually get up early so I can have the gym to myself. Not that I mind the company, mind you. I just don't like crowds." Issac said. "I'm Issac by the way."

He looked at the boy again and this time he was able to get past the ears. He was soak through and through. "My god man, your completely soaked. what were you doing out there? It's fit for neither man nor beast out there."

"Not really. I actually get up early so I can have the gym to myself..." Knives blinked at this comment. He was not a morning person himself. In fact, he was practically nocturnal, staying up till all hours of the night before sleeping in for the majority of the morning. At this time, he was usually dead to the world. Whenever he would have to get up for some reason, it always felt awful to do so...so he couldn't imagine doing it of one's own choice. So, he simply laughed a bit at Isaac, before replying, "Yeah, I could never do that..."

"I'm Issac by the way." Knives nodded. "I'm Knives." He smiled, and then looked at the kid, his head tilted to the side in curiosity. Isaac had no inhuman attributes; no ears like Knives, no wings like the girl he'd met the day before. "You look normal....what got you into this place?"

"My god man, your completely soaked. what were you doing out there? It's fit for neither man nor beast out there." Knives gave a shrug, and scratched his head, his hand getting wet again from his soaked hair. Then, he turned his head to look out the window - the morning was still darkened by clouds, even though the sun should have come up by now. Rain still pounded on the roof and the walls of the building, though the sound was muffled. The dog boy's eyes now returned to Isaac, and he gave another shrug. "I don't have a room yet, so I tried to sleep outside like I did the night before. The rain woke me up..."

He sighed and walked over to a nearby bench, and began to set it up as he talked with the other kid. For his first set, he put on two forty-five pound plates on either side, making 225 pounds total. Then, he went to the edge of the bench, and took a seat there, stretching his arms above him and his legs out in front of him. He'd decided to get a small workout in during lapses in the conversation, so he laid back and got in his first set quickly - 10 reps - and then sat back up on the edge and gave a yawn.

"I'm Knives. You look normal....what got you into this place?"

Issac smiled before saying. "It's nice to meet you Knives. Well normal a pretty relative term, mate. You should have seen me before I started to dye my hair and wear these contacts. As to why I'm here, my father thought it might be best for me to be round other people with....unique abilities."

"I don't have a room yet, so I tried to sleep outside like I did the night before. The rain woke me up..."

Issac nodded. Not much you could do if you don't have a room yet so he figure nothing else really need to be said about it.

Issac circled the punching bag so he could still talk with knives but also get back to his work out. He thew a couple punches at the bag before looking back at Knives.

The dog boy gave a big stretch and another yawn, and shrugged a bit as he looked over at Isaac. He tilted his head and his ears twitched a bit. He looked normal, no matter how he looked at him. So, he sniffed the air a bit; and he blinked. There wasn't much special about that eather, he had the scent of a normal human, for the most part - but there was something odd, and he could not place it - not like the angel he'd met the night before. But he shrugged; it wasn't a big deal, everyone here was different in some way.

In response to his answer, Knives shrugged to Isaac, and smirked. "Yeah....didja look as different as this back then?" With that, he reached up with one hand and took his dog ear between two fingers, and tugged gently. Then, he gave a smile. "And what are your powers? Anything special?" He smirked. "Are they cool?"

With that, he leaned back another time, to lay down on the bench. He lifted up the bar, and benched the weight again, fairly easily even the second set. After all, he was slightly stronger than the average human naturally, and he just had to build his potential.
