One thing you need to get that will come in extremely handy. The Faithstone that HIE clerics can get. Its a mana free gate to the Cleric Guild in Felewith. Handy? why you ask? Running to do turn in's can be an extreme pain in the rump. Bind yourself inside the building where you do turn ins. You can always Faithstone out to Felewith then out to the book to go other places. Only draw back is that if you get killed, you go to bind point and your faithstone is on your corpse.
Re: Epic Quest: Myrissa the Cleric
I did this quest, it was fun, and in the end very satisfying. I had to sit-down after the glorious battle with RageFire.
Most of the quest is simple, can be handle solo, single group, but the trek into Chardok is about the most difficult, requires several good groups. The collection of the shards is tedious, although you might have good luck like I did, although you don't have dwarf feet. The battle with RageFire is a bit anti-climactic, a single group of 65's can take him out. When I did it, the tank didn't even get a scratch.
So, once started, the epic only has two stumbling blocks, Chardok, and Shards.
I'm sure all of you know this but wanted to say that it looks far harder than it is.
I can offer any needed help from any of my characters that are high enough in level. My enchanter, druid, necro, or cleric can sit down under Lake Wrathe with you and kill goblins until you get the crown. The turnin to the cleric there has a small trick to it, I'm more than willing to keep her out of action until you have the crown to give back to her, Atone is a wonderful spell. The Prismatic priest is a single group battle that can be done right there in the room. If there is more than one cleric that needs to do this part, once he pops, he can be killed about every 10 minutes there after, when I did it, we need to do it twice for a second cleric, easy and fast battle.
The Chardok run is very fun. Lots of smelly Sarnak to kill, got to have a rogue to open the door though.
I appreciate the info. I am going to try to do alot of this as I have a long weekend coming up. (Doesn't everyone?)
Aye Ketre,
I have been scouring the bazaar on a regular basis to try to find one of those. They don't seem to be as common as the other ones. I am going to look into getting on made up.
PS. Could we get this stickied o' Absent Forum Leader types?
Re: Epic Quest: Myrissa the Cleric
Chardok is a no brainer now. Moma is non-kos so recovery is a piece of cake. Add to that, that HH loves going to Chardok and having the first king/queen dead within 30-45 mins of starting, and it's a breeze.
Shards = the suck.
SolB = the suck x2.
the rest is cake.
