Everquest (the original, not II) - new Progression server
Just a heads up for all the old schoolers, and those that may have never played EQ before:

A new 'progression' server called The Combine is going to be opening on the 28th of June, its a server that is expansion-less until the expansions are unlocked by players achieving certain content.

Looks interesting, apparently the original EQ game has changed an awful lot, and you can now buy the whole ten expansions for $20 US in a special pack from the Sony store.

Everyone will be starting from scratch, and there are plenty of Australians that are going to be trying it out, according to my research of several boards.

I'm going to give it a shot! /shrug can't hurt to relive the glory days!

I got to level 2 and remembered all the things that were awful about EQ1 and all the things that are done SO much better in EQ2 ... don't think I'll be continuing :p
