Re: Experience
Does the Magic Mushroom count as an herb. If it doesnt then yes. i tripped off shrooms so good one time that whenever i walked it felt like it was just my thoughts floating around the room. not only was it an out of body experience in was an out of this universe experience.

Re: Experience
Shrooms don't do a lot for me. I prefer acid if I want an out of body experience. But acid is hard to come by here.

Re: Experience
i have never actually sat down to meditate but i have spaced out before and it was like my whole existence was inside my brain. it was pretty cool, very spiritual. i learn alot about myself through these space outs.

Re: Experience
i think you are reffering to out of body experience as "ASTRAL PROJECTION"
it can be done, the best time to do this is when u go into a state of semi-sleep?
its all to do with breathing and meditation and can be an exhilarating experience.
But, only in the right atmosphere.

I am yet to try this and will post my experience on ere,and no "herbs" shall be taken nor any other kind of ui (under the influence):)

Re: Experience
Out of body experiences,or Astral Travel as i prefer to call it, is most definitely possible . Meditation is one way of preparing yourself for such a travel among other things. I found a good
Q&A about it I would like to Share with the Board here

here is another site you might find some great info on OBE's and other Astral Travel

Re: Experience
Some use herbs to help them travel, and the use of such herbs should not be looked down upon. For Example : Salvia Divinorum, a legal herb was used by the Native Americans in many of there Astral Travel type Rituals Etc.
I find that Marijuana can do both either help or hinder the travelling. I suppose it really mostly depends on the current state of mind you are in. Marijuana can be used to calm you down to help put your body in the proper state for astral travel, as I have used it many times, but this does not mean smoke so much your eyes bleed okay one or two hits of some quality smoke can help the journey , but i have found that if you overdo the smoking OBE or Astral is out of the question as it wont work for you then. Herbs have been used by many cultures for journeying into the "Spirit Realms"
And there are those that prefer to use nothing. I think it depends on the day, your state of mind ,and also what you are trying to accomplish
