Fefe Shacklebolt
OOC
Name: Mallory
Contacts: miss.snakeinthegrass@gmail.com
Age: 16
Code: Rita Skeeter Illegal Animagus
IC
Name: Fefe Camille Shacklebolt
DOB: April 13th, 1992
Year: 5th Year
Blood: Halfblood
House Preference: Slytherin
Why: The main reason Fefe belongs in Slytherin is because she has a vast longing to reach to the top and gain power. She strives to be the leader in every situation, and uses her enthusiastic personality and determination to get where she wants to be. If she’s there’s a game to be played, it’s a game to be won, no if, ands, or buts. She absolutely won’t do something she doesn’t want to do, and is easily tempered, seeking revenge on someone that angers her one too many times. Although she is very open and outgoing, Fefe tends to cover a few of her true feelings inside of her, and doesn’t quite have a knack for following rules, which are two considerably Slytherin traits. She may be cold, bossy, and manipulative to people in order to get control and might even refer to lying to get out of situations.
Physical Appearance: Fefe has quite a “tough-girl” appearance. With her pug-like face; full, puckered pink lips; and her short, wide nose, Fefe gives off an angered look. However, when a bright, white smile spreads across her face, her kindness and friendly-manner manifest her exterior. Her clothes also contribute to her “tough” mode. When she’s not in school uniform, she wears rock t-shirts, stud bracelets and belts, black jewellery, chains, tattered jeans, and other simple, “rock n’ roll” styled wear. Although, she keeps her style feminine by wearing skirts, large-hoop earrings, and sexy outfits every so often. She enjoys adding to her attire every once in a while with dark, bold make-up that brings out her large, deep, nearly black eyes.
Fefe is fairly tall, at 5’8’’, and is skinny - mainly due to her high-metabolism that allows her to eat like a pig and not gain a single pound, as well as her energetic behaviour - but has muscular tones, particularly in her arms as a beater and guitarist. She has a smooth, chocolate complexion from her African heritage (half African from her dad and half British from her mom), which is accompanied by very dark brown, coarse, curly hair that runs just above her shoulders. Fefe will wear her hair down from time to time, but because it is so wavy and thick, she prefers wearing it up in a messy bun or a short ponytail. The way Fefe portrays herself through her tough features, like her “rock” clothes and confident walk, representing her ambitious, powerful, in-your-face, rebellious personality, but hides her kindness and friendliness. Which, is in fact, just the way Fefe likes it, she doesn’t like people judging her as a push-over or revealing her true self automatically to others.
Personality: Fefe pretty much sees herself as first. She is the leader of the pack, first in line to get things going. Whether or not everything gets done is another question altogether, for she prefers to initiate rather to complete. Her desire for success springs from a strange mixture of materialism and idealism, yet either way, the leadership displayed by Fefe is most impressive, so don’t be surprised if she can rally the troops against seemingly insurmountable odds – she has that kind of personal magnetism. And she won’t shy away from new ground, either. It her fearless trek into the unknown that often wins the day. Fefe is a bundle of energy and dynamism, leading people along with her charm and charisma. She does not make a very good follower because she is too "take charge". Her unwillingness to obey or submit to directions for which she can see no reason, or with which she disagrees, makes Fefe a rebellious girl in many occasions. She is also very much concerned with herself, both positively and negatively. Her self-reliant but also self centered (sometimes) approach and concern with her own personal advancement and physical satisfaction also makes Fefe the kind of person that just doesn’t care what other people think of her. She’ll do what she wants to do.
Fefe is ambitious, driven, and has quite the youthful personality. She is very high-spirited, charming, and entertaining, with a warm heart, showing a childlike quality and a reluctance to grow up. It is not likely that one is able to convince Fefe to soften up; she is blunt and to the point. Along with those qualities comes Fefe’s natural ability to actually accomplish a great deal – which provokes a drive in her to compete and to win. She is often restless and adventurous, usually wanting life to be exciting and glamorous, and with her enthusiasm and personal magnetism, she often attracts many friends and admirers. She loves danger and risk, and is up to plunging into any challenge. In her personal relationships Fefe is frank, direct and candid, and makes enthusiastic and generous friends. Her enthusiasm and friendliness allows her to meet and talk with anyone comfortably, and makes an assortment of friends doing so – never discriminating or judging someone too soon. There is, however, a negative side to her associations with other people. Fefe can easily be irritated by slowness or moderation in her companions and ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others. As for more intimate relationships, intensity of her sexual urges can drive Fefe to promiscuity and a counting of conquest of the opposite sex, rendering Fefe as a “feisty” lover.
With all the good stuff that comes with Fefe, there is always the bad. Her immense energy makes her aggressive and restless, argumentative occasionally, headstrong, quick tempered, easily offended and capable of holding grudges if she feels herself affronted. You could easily refer to her as a “bitch” if she doesn’t like you. She can be easily impulsive, tempting to shove her ideas down everyone's throats without even bothering to ask if they want to know. Fefe has a strong sense of self, which makes her frequently selfish, thinking only of herself in many situations. As well, in her pursuit of achievement, Fefe tends to act impulsively, being inconsistent or irresponsible at times.
A ‘dislikes” list of Fefe’s would include waiting around, admitting failure, not having opposition, and other people’s advices. Little things can easily annoy Fefe, and she isn’t afraid to point them out if she has to. On a list of her ‘likes”, you would find that Fefe has a strong adoration for music, particularly rock, and is an avid guitar player. With such energy, she particularly enjoys playing pranks on friends and constantly letting them know she’s in for a good time. Although she’s well-rounded in prospect to all the classes at Hogwarts, if she was to choose a favourite it would most likely be Defence Against the Dark Arts, mainly due to the fact that it comes easily to Fefe, coming from a family full of Aurors. Another favoured subject would probably be Charms, where she loves acting on instincts and quick movements. Her least favourite subject is History of Magic, which, like many students would probably admit, is just plan boring.
Although she is mentally sharp, with her original forms of artistic or creative expression - through the guitar and love of music – she is apt to scatter her energies unless she can find a true direction in life. She is quick-witted, but sometimes foolhardy and over optimistic, lacking thoroughness and the ability to evaluate difficulties in the undertakings into which she often rushes rashly. With a determined, witty, entertaining, and sharp minded personality, the dawning of a new day- and all of its possibilities – is pure bliss to Fefe.
History: Fefe Camille Shacklebolt was born on April 13th, 1992 to Ward Shacklebolt and Amelia Roberson. However, she has never known her mother. After Fefe’s birth, her mother left Fefe, Ward, and Fefe’s older brother Liam, and fled from South East, England, never returning or contacting her children since then. The only information Fefe’s father has told her about her mother is that “things got hard, and she left.” Although, Liam has told Fefe that their mother was a muggle, and she couldn’t handle the magical world. Ward and Amelia’s love was instant, and their marriage spectacular, but after Liam’s birth, the relationship had gone on a downfall. Ward, who had kept hidden the secret of the magical world from his wife ever since they met, had felt obligated to inform his wife that he was a wizard after they had a son. At first, Amelia was awe-struken, almost in disbelief of it all, but willing to adjust to Ward’s way of life. Eventually, Amelia could not take the magical world’s “bizarre culture” and her husbands association with it, left her family, including her newborn baby, to start a new life.
As a result of the absence of a mother in her life, Fefe was raised by her loving, protective, brave, and strict father – who dressed his little girl up in dresses and pig-tails - and grew up with her fun, care-free, loyal, ambitious brother Liam, who is 4 years older her senior. They lived a on a fairly well-off income from Ward, who is an Auror for the Ministry of Magic. In fact, the Shacklebolt family consists of a long-line of aurors, including (most famously) her grandfather Kingsley Shacklebolt who was involved in the Order of the Phoniex, her father, and her brother who is be an Auror-in-training. Therefore, Fefe has always been taught magical defence from her father as a child. Altogether, Fefe’s childhood was full of good memories, one particular of learning her first magic, an extinguishing spell, from her father. She was well connected to the magical world, having many friends in the area where she lived who were wizards and witches. Fefe enjoyed trying many new things as a kid, attempting to play Quidditch, exploring forests with her friends, and spending her allowance on all sorts of magical candy. Her most vivid discovery as a child, however, was music. Liam, who always had listened to rock music – from the magical and muggle world alike– was the one who got his little sister into it. Liam tried to teach Fefe to play the drums when she was 7, which she could play decently, and could easily catch onto the beats and rhythms, however, on a trip to Diagon Alley, Fefe came across an “electric” guitar in a music store and fell immediately in love with its high pitch and energetic sounds. In fact, ever since then, she has learned and mastered its art by herself, becoming a talented guitarist.
By the time Fefe’s eleventh birthday was nearing, she had had a wonderful childhood. She had many friends, she dearly loved her family, and she had come out a strong, outgoing, and ambitious girl. When April 13th arrived, Fefe woke up and when she went to have her breakfast with her father and brother, had an early birthday surprise waiting for her. Her father presented her with a letter at the breakfast table that was sealed with a Hogwarts crest. Automatically, without having opened the letter, Fefe knew that the letter was indeed her acceptance into the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Even though she had been expecting the letter to come, seeing as her brother and father, and pretty much all of the Shacklebolts (who are for the most part pureblood) went to Hogwarts, Fefe was completely overjoyed. After reading the letter 10 times over, Fefe got ready for her birthday party and spent the rest of her day playing games with her friends, opening presents, and eating cake. Just as the beginning of her day started, Fefe’s day ended overwhelming happiness, as her father gave her his gift of a light brown barn owl whom she decided to name Bowie, after her favourite Muggle 70s alternative rock singer David Bowie.
Fefe was completely thrilled to start school at Hogwarts. She would meet tons of people, she would learn so many new things, and she would be able to be completely exposed to the magical world. Of course, she would miss her father, and feel guilty about leaving him by himself, but he was busy enough being an Auror. And plus, Fefe would be able to be with her brother for almost a whole year. When she got on the train at Kings Cross, Fefe wasn’t nervous at all. She jumped into conversations with people and made friends easily. It was the same when she walked into the great wooden doors of the Hogwarts castle, she was far from worried and was instead enjoying the great experience. When it was Fefe’s turn to put on the Sorting Hat, she knew a far deal about the houses from her brother and father, and was pretty sure she’d end up in Gryffindor just like her family, but she found it quite curious when the hat yelled out “Slytherin!” almost immediately. She wasn’t appalled by the house. In fact, she found people were way too judgemental about the supposedly “evil” house, and always thought that Slytherin was built for great achievers and ambition, which Fefe was all about. She effortlessly settled in as a Slytherin, and although she made lots of friends in the house, she was able to make tons of other friends in Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff as well. Through her many establishing friendships, she found that she wouldn’t have to bug Liam as much as a younger sister, and allowed her fifth year brother to carry on his life without her stepping on his ankles – although she was pretty sure Liam wouldn’t mind anyway. Fefe enjoyed all of her classes and made just a bit above average grades. She was defiantly a well-rounded first year, and when summer came along, Fefe was more than excited to see her father again and tell him about everything she had experienced.
Fefe’s excitement for her second year at Hogwarts was as prominent as the first. She jumped into school, rearing to have a good time, knowing she was no longer part of the firstys. Although the beginning of the year she was considered a ‘goody-two-shoes’ sticking to hanging out with friends in the library and keeping out of trouble, as the year went on she decided to start playing some pranks. From adding invisible slippery slim to a hallway to watch teachers and students fly and glide from one wall to wall of the corridor – to (with the help of friends of course) filling the Gryffindor common room with bundles and bundles of singing frogs. Fefe was renowned as “the lead trouble maker” her second year and had her special spot in the detention hall. However, she kept up her marks and didn’t slack in school. It was another great year for Miss. Rebel Rebel Shacklebolt.
After a summer of “showing” her brother and father some more ideas for great pranks she had, Fefe returned to Hogwarts in yet another vigorous motive. Sparkling news came up as Slytherin was in the need of a Quidditch beater, and after thoroughly convincing herself that she could make it with no sweat (with yet the help of her friends practicing with her after classes), Fefe made the team. No doubt with a spirit like hers and the boost in confidence (not that she needed it in the first place), Fefe had a blast playing the sport and almost loved it as much as her guitar. Her third was yet another successful year – with well marks, a place on the Quidditch team, a heap of friends, and a few good pranks, what more could a girl ask for? Oh right! A trip to Egypt that summer with the family, where they got to see the breath-taking pyramids and avidly perfect curses – and not so avidly perfect curses - of ancient burial tombs.
Fourth year seemed look just as bright as those prior for Fefe. But things didn’t go so well at first when she had discovered that a few or more of her Slytherin friends ignored her for the entire first term. Supposedly, they didn’t like the fact that she was so friendly with the other houses and that she didn’t spend enough time hanging out with her “own kind”. Of course, Fefe didn’t take that kind of crap and after a fair share of shouting having occurred, ignored them for the rest of the term as well, sticking to the friends that weren’t so immature. Eventually, the grudge had lead to the Slytherin common room being turned into a circus – literally – and in the end, the whole thing turned over and her and her Slytherin friends had made amends. Meanwhile, Fefe continued with her Quidditch, practicing harder than ever, especially during the first term when she needed to fuse her anger after playing the guitar so violently had left her with bloody fingers. She had become quite the aggressive, enthusiastic player, and many times had acted as the “Spirit Leader” of the team. She tried harder during year to pick up her marks, and managed to do so, and the fourth year had ended just as happily as anticipated, despite pretty much a full year of detentions for the circus incident.
Roleplay Sample: “Ahhhh… the wondrous morning!” Fefe whispered to herself as she jumped out of her bed and made her way towards the window to open the curtains and let in some frosty sunshine. But, as it turns out, there are no windows in the Slytherin girl dormitory. Right. And in fact, the wondrous morning was more like insanely cold in the dungeons. But come on. It was worth it. Tis’ the season to be jolly, no? Okay. So maybe not everyone was as overly enthusiastic about the snow as Fefe, she couldn’t help but hold onto such a childlike favourite. And even though cold, icy weather wasn’t the greatest for playing Quidditch, the snow ball ambushes and unnecessary outdoor tackling was worth it. It was just too damn beautiful outside this time of year to just ignore it all.
Shivering furiously in her black hooded Ramones sweater and black modrobes, Fefe made her way towards her brown barn owl Bowie’s cage and gave him some owl nuts to munch on. After having debated obscurely with herself whether to jump back into the nice warm bed or not, Fefe hastily decided a nice warm shower sounded more intriguing. Then she could go up to the Great Hall to meet up with some friends. Who were most likely taking the weekend morning as an opportunity to sleep in. Meh. It’s only half past 8. A few people were bound to be up, and as long as they weren’t too stiff or annoying, Fefe could probably get along with them fine. It was just the kind of person she was. Sure she didn’t look all that inviting to the eye, and being a Slytherin didn’t help to much, but how would she be able to live without having friends in other houses? It was just something that was necessary to have.
After an overly exaggerated yawn, she made her way to the girls’ showers. Being thoroughly convinced she had fallen asleep while standing up, Fefe changed into a tight pair of medium-dark jeans and putting on plain white, long sleeved shirt, grabbed her Ramones sweater before stopping to quickly tie her converses. It was winter! It was a time for celebration! And it was about time a prank needed to be done around here.
(I know its short, but if you want more, just say so and it won’t be a problem.)
