Few questions about game performance
Alright, pretty simple, i have a few bucks to spend and i've decided to invest it in my computer. I have an AMD athlon XP 2000 with 1.67Ghz, 512 MB ram (how do i check to see what type of ram it is btw? like DDR or not), Nvidia Geforce 3 ti 200 vid card. With those specs, which should i be looking to upgrade first? Ram, or video card, or something else? I have around 150 dollars to spend, maybe a little more if the price is right. I'm playing Planetside right now and looking forward to the next gen of MMO's (WoW, L2, etc) if thats any difference. Buying computer hardware online is fine if its cheaper too
On game performance, are there any good websites that have good tweaks to improve performance? Basically stuff that i'm not gonna have to spend an hour on the floor with my computer tower to do Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cool, downloaded that program, my memory is Kingston DDR SDRAM PC2300.....well sounds pretty advanced to me but i'm no expert
Hahaha, i just compared prices on that vid card, Radeon 9600, 61 dollars at newegg.com, 200 dollars at Comp USA! Expose the corporate greed some more please. Card looks good to me, thanks for advice, i might even have enough left over to upgrade both my video card and RAM.

At $61 you must be looking at the orriginal base 9600.. I would highly recomend getting a 9600XT over that.. yeah its more money but it will last you alot longer.. and in all actuality you can get a 9800pro for just a bit more than the 9600xt.
