First attempt at M42
Finally a clear night :) except for the moon:cry
My first attempt at prime focus with my new scope. I still need a lot of improvements but working at it every chance I get! I usually start setting up around 10pm or so and takes about 30-40 mins to have everything ready. Its so cold outside but I soon forget within a few mins after setup because I get so excited . My new red gloves helps me too!

Hopefully within a few months Ill be able to make the images better by using softwares like photoshop cs..My picture isnt pretty yet but soon!

I remember from my photography days that the SV's were a series of fancy-ass scopes. I'm guessing the GM8 is a mount?
