Floor 3, Room 9 (open)
Olivia walked down the halls dragging her small duffel bag, with few outfits, it was all she owned. She had her nose pushed into a piece of paper, trying to read it, but she didn't know very much, she could and read numbers up to ten. she found the third floor and walked up the stairs. She stared at the paper confused at the room number. She dropped to the floor, laying her head in her hands as she started to cry.

"Why, why me god?" She stared up asking god, "Why has my life been so difficult, I will not fit in here, I'm stupid!" She pushed her head back into her hands as she started crying once again. She still did not understand why god had chosen her to have such a difficult life. She would never get a good education, at least that is what she believes.

Re: Floor 3, Room 9 (open)
Lucas walked through the hallway of floor two. He was heading back up to his room on the fourth floor, a book held firmly in his hand. It was a little too cold outside for him today, so he decided to read in his room instead. Lightly, he wondered where his roommate was today, but his thoughts were broken as he began walking up the stairs and a voice caught his attention.

"Why, why me god?"..."Why has my life been so difficult, I will not fit in here, I'm stupid!"

Lucas made his way up the stairs quickly. He turned and looked down the hallway of floor three to find a girl crying. He quickly ran over to her, kneeling down beside her to try and get a look at her face. " Don't put yourself down like that, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here." He said, a concerned sound in his voice. He suddenly felt a bit rude for not introducing himself yet. " Sorry, I'm Lucas Reed. Do you need help with something?" He added.

Olivia wiped her eyes with a hankerchief that was in her pocket. "I'm Olivia Erickson. C..Can you help me find this room?" She held the paper at him, "I don't really know how to read. I'm sorry if I disturbed you." She looked at Lukas, he was so kind to her even though he did not know who she was.

Olivia looked around, knowone else was around, except Lukas. "Is it always this quiet around here?" she questioned hopping her question was not a bother.

"I'm Olivia Erickson. C..Can you help me find this room?"..."I don't really know how to read. I'm sorry if I disturbed you."

As she looked up to him, Lucas gave her a friendly smile. " It's no trouble at all, and it's very nice to meet you Olivia." He replied. He took hold of the piece of paper she held out to him and looked at it. They were fairly close to her room, it was only a few doors up. He rose to his feet, leaning down slightly and holding his hand out to her to help her up. " Your room is right over here." He said, pointing to her door with his free hand.

"Is it always this quiet around here?"

When looking around, Lucas noticed out quiet it was. The students were probably out and about somewhere. " It's usually buzzing around here in the mornings since, but most students are probably around the school grounds. If you'd like I can give you a tour sometime." He explained.

Olivia nodded, "That would be very nice. Thank You for helping me find my room. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't shown up." Olivia pulled her small bag, tugging it to her chest, she was very shy and felt bad for wasting some of this mans time. "Do you school? I.... never really went to school so I don't know what it is like. Do you think it is hard?" Olivia looked at him, her blue eyes shimmering with questions.

After helping her up, Lucas gave her another smile, as if trying to let her know it was alright. " Don't worry about it, there are plenty of nice students around here. Any one of them would be happy to help you, I just happened to be coming along." He replied. He walked over to her dorm room and waited for her to follow.

"Do you school? I.... never really went to school so I don't know what it is like. Do you think it is hard?"

" I've been going to school ever since I was old enough too. It's not difficult really, you just have to want to learn. Unfortunately, some of the students here don't seem like they want to." Lucas explained. It was sad really, that students didn't want to learn, when they were given a good opportunity such as this one. " But if you do have any trouble with your school work, just come and find me, I live up on floor four in room fourteen. What class are you in?" He asked.

Olivia followed," I have", Olivia stared at the piece of paper trying to read the names, she was struggling so much but she knew she could do it, after all she had read books when her adopted parents did not know as they always said (you don't need to learn your a farm girl, and always will be) she hated them so. "Just a minute I can do this I am better at letters than numbers. I really believe if you like school that I will."

(OOC: Where do I find the list of teachers so I can say the names??)

"I have"

Lucas stood in front of her door slightly as he turned back to find that she was trying to read names of the paper. With concerned eyes he watched her, feeling sad that she didn't know how to read the what was written before her. In his heart he wanted to help, yet not tell her of the words themselves. There was no way of learning if someone simply told her what they were.

"Just a minute I can do this I am better at letters than numbers. I really believe if you like school that I will."

Lucas walked around her so that he was standing behind her, and able to read the numbers over her shoulder. He rested a hand on her shoulder, as if to show that he would be there to help her if she needed it. " It's alright, just take your time." He said calmly, his voice showing that he wasn't annoyed by her inability to read.

ooc(( On the left side bar around the bottom there's a scrolley thing and that has teachers names on it :) ))

"I... don't know how to pronounce these names, they are not common names? Are they? I'm sorry, I'm such a loser." Olivia looked down as she moved her feet back and fourth, she felt ridiculous. She couldn't read, but everyone else hear could, why was she going to have such a hard time? Who she ever be able to read? Will she ever be normal? No, she did not believe the answer to any of those is yes. She will never be able to read, she will never be normal, she was not meant to be normal even though she wishes she could be.

"I... don't know how to pronounce these names, they are not common names? Are they? I'm sorry, I'm such a loser."

Lucas shook his head. " You're not a loser, don't say such things about yourself. You'll be able to read in no time, but for now all you need is a little help." He said, looking over at her with a friendly smile again. Lucas turned his attention back to the paper. " They're not common names, so don't feel bad about not being able to read them. I had trouble with pronouncing them when I first got here." He added.

With his free hand, Lucas took a hold of the paper as well. " Try sounding them out, for names like these that should work. Start with the first one, the name of the Principal. And don't worry, I'll help you as best I can." The musician explained. He looked over at her again, waiting for her to try the first name.

Olivia looked towards Lukas feeling a little more confident, but still not very calm. "Eric, I know that name, S....Sh.....ala...m..m.m...ar. Shalmar, ShShalamar, Eric Shalamar." Olivia felt proud of her self, but then was discouraged seeing as there are many more names she needs to learn. "Is Mr. Sh...Shalamar nice, okay, or really harsh?" She worried on how helpful her teachers will be about her not being about to read very well, but then pushed the thought away as she looked in Lukas' beautiful eyes.

"Eric, I know that name, S....Sh.....ala...m..m.m...ar. Shalmar, ShShalamar, Eric Shalamar."

A proud smile reached the musician's face when she got the name right. " See? That wasn't so hard now was it. You're much better than you give yourself credit for Olivia." He replied. He watched the emotion that passed through her eyes. From pride straight to worry. The quick transition made him worried as to why.

"Is Mr. Sh...Shalamar nice, okay, or really harsh?"

When she looked up at him, he moved his hand that was on the paper and rested it on hers. " There's nothing to be worried about, the teachers here are nice. I'm sure they'll help you." Lucas explained. After a moment, Lucas calmly removed his hand from hers and motioned towards her room. " Would you like to keep reading the names out here or see your room and unpack?" He asked.

"I should probably unpack, but thanks for your help, if there is anything I can ever do for you just let me know." She grabbed a key from her pocket and unlocked the door, it looked as if she did not yet have roommate. She set her duffel bag on the bed right up against the window. It was a nice day. Olivia opened the window and let the breeze wander the room as she unpacked her clothes and put them into a small drawer. She looked at the thin sheets and pillows on the bed, she was going to buy some better sheets and some better pillows. There were no curtains on the window, giving Olivia no privacy, that is what she would have to buy first, but first she needs to earn money.

"I should probably unpack, but thanks for your help, if there is anything I can ever do for you just let me know."

Lucas stepped to the side and watched her enter the room, noticing that she only had a duffel bag with her. When he had come to the school, he only brought a suitcase full of his belongings with him. But that was only because he came from a wealthy family, and anything extra he needed he could easily buy. He lightly wondered what the situation was for her.

The musician moved over to her doorway after she entered the room. He leaned up against the door frame. " There's no need to do anything for me, don't worry about it." He replied. For a moment he watched her unpack, and suddenly felt rude about doing so. He retreated from the doorway, standing upright . " If you need anymore help don't hesitate to find me. Floor four, room fourteen. I'll be glad to help you with anything you need, or if you just want some company." Lucas said.

A charming smile played onto his face. " It was lovely to meet you, Olivia. I'm sure I'll be seeing you again soon." He added. And with those words the emerald eyed boy turned and began to make his way down the hallway.
