Joey and Chandler are at Joey's apartment. Joey is excited about his date with Rachel.
An old friend of Monica and Phoebe's calls them. She wants to get together. They never really liked her and decide to "phase her out" (not answer when she calls). However, Chandler picks up the phone and Monica is forced to talk to her. The three decide to meet. Monica comes up with the idea to have Chandler call her and say that he and Mike have been in an accident. Monica learns that at the beginning of there friendship Phoebe tried to "phase her out." Chandler calls and only Monica leaves.
Ross decides to get the spray on tan. Things don't go as planned. He gets sprayed 4 times on his front and not at all on his back. He then goes back and the same thing happens.
The scenes with Joey and Rachel are my favorite (I love Joey and Rachel). They are making out and Joey puts his hand on Rachel's thigh and starts to slide his hand up. The first two times she smacks his hand. The third time she smacks his hand and hits him upside the head. After Rachel talks to Monica she decided that they don't need any build up, they just need to do it. Things go wrong from there to. She knees Joey there. They decide in the end that they are just to good of friends to be anything more.
The tag is very funny. Chandler is knocking on Ross' apartment door and says that Ross needs to let him in. Ross says no he doesn't want to see anyone (his face is really dark). Chandler tells him he went to the tanning place and the same thing happened to him. Ross opens the door and Chandler looks fine. Ross says 'Nothing happened to you.' Chandler says, 'I know, I just wanted a picture.'

The group is celebrating Emma's first birthday. Emma is still napping and Monica and
Chandler have plays to leave for the weekend. Rachel had gone to this bakery in New
Jersey to get the cake made. It was suppose to be a bunny with a picture of Emma on it.
However, it turned out to be a penis with a picture of Emma on it.
Everyone is waiting for Emma to walk up while Chadler and Monica want to leave but
Rachel won’t let them. She wants everyone there for Emma when she wakes up.
Rachel and Ross (not clear on that part) decide to go to New Jersey to get the cake fixed,
however she gets pulled over for speeding.
Back at Joey’s apartment Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica are all deciding on who
should get to leave. Phoebe says it is her because she has a message client. Joey has an
addition and Monica and Chandler want to get started on their weekend. In the end it is
Monica and Chandler who stay.
Emma wakes up and Monica is teaching her how to line up her stuffed animals based on
size. Chandler is talking to her and tells her how old she is. Emma then does the same
and holds up one finger.
In the car Ross has fixed the cake and turned it into a bunny. Joey and Phoebe both come
back to the apartment for the birthday party, the say it didn’t feel right. Chandler shows
everyone what Emma can do.

Joey, Rachel, Monica, and Chandler are all sitting at the coffee house and Monica asks Rachel if she would write a letter of recommendation for them to the adoption agency, she of couse says yes and Joey is hurt because they didn't ask him. They say he can.
Ross and Charlie are making out at his apartment and there is a knock on the door. It is Rachels sister Amy. She is looking for Rachel she has some news for her. She fines Rachel and tells her that she is getting married. Rachel talks with her and the next thing you know Amy is at Joey and Rachel's apartment with her bags because she is moving in with them because after her talk with Rachel she broke up with her boyfriend.
Joey is having trouble writting his letter because he doesn't know any big words. Ross tells him to use his thesaurus nfor help. Joey does and takes the letter to Monica and Chandler. They tell him he can't send the letter because it doesn't make any sense. Joey rewrites his letter and sends it in without letting them read it. Chandler and Monica get a phone call from the agency they liked Joey's letter. Thought it was cute that they let a child write a letter.
Rachel lets Amy watch Emma which is a big mistake because as a way to say thank you, Amy gets Emma's ears piearced.

Forgot to record. Between double shifts at the hospital and working at the library I was to exhausted to remember plus got phone calls from relatives wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving.

Yes, I'm lazy, I'll be th first to admit that, but i am always so exhausted when I come home from work that I just go to bed and forget to set the VCR. I hope the transcripts are okay.
